listen I haven't used mine in over a year 😂😂 lmao. It used to be so easy to connect because my old wifi router had a WPS button and I would just press it on the printer and then the router and it would connect- I've had no luck with the apps and other methods I've seen and it's too heavy/ no space to connect directly to the router. gonna try this out now!
To change wifi you would need to remove your old wifi by holding the resume/ cancel button until the power button blinks 9 times to verify you did it print out the configuration sheet. I have (Verizon) If your router doesn’t have WP button easily go login to their website and click mange internet and scroll a bit there will be WPS button that has a 2 min timer. Then install the setup software on your computer, what worked for me was usb connection to connect my printer to my pc then once it says communicating with printer start the WPS timer from the Verizon website in process of the timer my new Wi-Fi was able to get connected then follow the instructions to complete the connection
I know this is 2 years old but I’m having this issue now after moving.. I’m stuck when you press in the network button until the main power button blinks twice. Mine doesn’t blink at all but the network button keeps flashing and there’s no printer network showing up. If anyone can help please do!
When i hold my Wifi button my power button doesn’t flash , the wifi button flashes but is is not allow my printer to be discovered , If i hold the wifi button long enough I get a yellow stop button? I am able to print out the report like in your video. The app-on my iPad can’t find the printer. I downloaded the wifi app you suggested in one of your other videos and when i open it up it shows no printer connected.every thing is blank. I do not have a WPA button on my router
After pressing the button too many times you have to do a factory reset. The instructions are on the cannon web site. Once you do a reset then this video will allow you to program the printer. I hope this helps. It worked for me. You will have to look around to find it but it works.
Sorry, but there is a much easier way to install the WIFI for this printer. If you WPS button on your router, you can first press the wireless and hold button on the printer util it blinks and then you press the WPS button on your router. It is that simple.

You forgot to mention the WPS button on your router.... only like the most important part. Got to working fine on my own.

Not if your router has no WPS button. Frontier routers don't have a WPS button
