The password is now a randomly generated and NOT the serial number. I guess this is a security update. Print the Network Configuration page and the password is printed in the Product information 1-4

my machine says: The black drum unit needs to be replaced. The fixing assembly needs to be replaced soon. The black toner is low. but after i replaced the above parts the machine still shows the same. Is there any way to reset those parameters?

I have the same problem. The printer asks me for the password but when I enter the serial number it rejects it as incorrect. I am completely frustrated with the printer.

We have the Canon iR ADV C5840 - so used your video to start to fix the error due to MS365 updates - Oct 2024: There was only one thing I think you missed (?), as I worked with the Canon tech, who didn't know the initial steps, but fixed the "User Authentications" for me.
