This just shows how inept WG is. A lot of the mods are just small QoL improvements. They added "death cam" but showing all shots/hits (as Battle Hits does) is a no. Why do I have to go external websites to see detailed armor layout (and modules for that matter)? This should be available in the game (along with hidden stats like terrain resistances).
well couple years back I remember wg saying if they implement that in game it would be very easy to make cheat mods which aims for weakspots, but I dont believe them

Well, the players wanted the stats back to argue over. Have to see if my team is any good before the game starts, right? You see, the MODS being used here are in trust to do the right thing. Many people still bicker about those that turn a bunch pf them on and play. That's right, where you go to get these MODS has those MODS too. It's the same MOD. So, as you all use the same MOD, complaining that they allow MODS. It's the players, not WG that is the issue with MODS. Players want them and use them. Most just don't play with all of it turned on. Your choice, WG took themselves out of the conversation years ago. Unless it cross what ever line they have against hacking. The rules.

I would add Distance Marker from Aslain, it is a new addition. Shows distance to every tank in view range, quite useful, especially when playing scouts.
1 mod which i think its missing is paintball mod. Sometimes its super hard to see where you're getting penetrated due to various factors. Lightning, tank skin for example. With this you can easily see any hit received, pen or non pen.
My favorite Aslains Mod is "Original WG Icons colored w/my style and Arab Tiers" under Non-XVM Mods, Vehicle Contours. This mod designates each type of tank with a specific color, makes it very easy to identify enemy tanks. Green=lights; Red = Heavies; Yellow = Meds, Tds = Blue, SPG = Purple.
All of you forget a big and important mod that is in NON XVM section in AIM HELPING MODS section that mod is called BalCalcMod (Ballistic Calculator Mod) it helps you to lock gun elevation for a certain distance, incredible for blindshots, ridge line shots and also cupola snipes...

In some rare scenarios Safe shot can be a problem. For example if u lead a target and at that point there is a moving friendly. U cannot shoot due to the mod. In vanilla u could.

Thank you for the nice explanation video. I´ve been already using most of the mods you showed us. But there are some exceptions like "Replay manager" or "Iyouxin mod". Maybe I will use "Aslain´s Modpack" in the future. I think some of these Mods actually make you win more games. I also love your "high level commentary" videos. Especially he "Grille 15" content helped me out a lot. I´m currently grinding "AMX M4 54" and I´ve already seen your "Tech Tree Showcase" video, maybe you could make a "high level commentary" for "amx" as well?
I absolutely agree with turning of player stats. I used to have it on for a little but and my god did it make me play SO MUCH worse, not even for the toxicity part.
Then you used it wrong because it definitely helped me improve my gameplay. There's a huge difference if I see an enemy let's say ELC 90 with 800wn8 and shit stats on his tank compared to someone with 2k+ wn8 and really good stats on the tank. One will MOST likely have better equipment, better crew and better positioning than the other player and you can react according to that. Same with brawling in cities. If I see an enemy tank brawling in the city with really bad stats it's way easier to play mind games on them, angling your tank and generally outplaying them. XVM is a veeeeery useful tool if you know how to use it

For example if you see that both teams have two top tier heavy tanks that are most likely going to fight over a crucial part of the map and one team has much better players in their heavies, you can plan whether you need to go help them or not. XVM lets you predict how the battle is going to play out, thus helping you choose where to go.

xvm is one of the most valuable mod in the game. a lot of the current in game features were actually long part of xvm mod, it did more than showing players stats. and what is toxic or not depends on your perspective. I can say that 90% of the time the person in your team, who is complaining the most, who is calling everyone noob is also the worst player in the team, 20K battles, 43% win and calling everyone a bot. So what does this have to do with xvm? if that guy had xvm installed would he be spamming the chat the entire game insulting everyone that is better than him? for a lot of least experience players, they can see who in their team is good, so they can play following the lead of these better players. For dead players, they can see which player alive is good, so they can spectate them play and learn something. For the bots with big mouth, they can see objectively they are bots, so they will shut up and stop blaming the team. xvm is the best thing possible to everyone. a 28% chance to win and started off with GG, and the team actually ended up winning just prove exactly that xvm has no impact in the game. and people saying gg is not toxic, why is it toxic? they are not insulting anyone, they are not throwing away their tank driving into water, there is nothing toxic about this.
The Auto claim mod for Tour of duty missions is brutally helpful tbh. I’ve already wasted so many points just because I forgot to claim them. Tranks mate

I love using XVM just to see how big of a threat the opponents are. If the one I am fighting with is a tomato, I can be more aggressive, with lower risk of being punished.
And then you get over confident because the bad player is lucky and pens you. Just deactivate it and try to learn to respect every enemy on the battlefield. Even an elc even 90 can one hit ammorack you if he is lucky enough.

I would add the one that allows to draw arrows on minimap, it helps to communicate (with who? that's the question.. Most of the time nobody communicates). Even the right click on minimap is almost never used to say "I'm going on this position"
The drawing on the minimap only works if the people you are trying to communicate with also have xvm with Data exchange with allies (XMQP) enabled, so there is a good chance others do not have the ability to see what you are drawing.
I have to say that you're right about xvm mods, it can really give you a bad impression on other players. However, the reason I want to install xvm mod is to learn from the best. If there happens to be a better player I'd rather learn his approach and tactics to improve my games and not being toxic on low wr% players.
The player who checked the dispersion of the shots did so while the reticle was fully focused and at a standstill. He concluded that the true dispersion in such a situation, is smaller than indicated by the in-game reticle. Here he is correct. On the other hand, he did not verify how the dispersion of shots behaves when the aiming scope is 90% focused or the tank is in motion. Then the dispersion parameters of the in-game reticle reflect the original size of the server reticle (without mod). Therefore, if you play with a mod which reduces the size of the reticle, in a situation where the real server reticle is not fully focused, the projectile dispersion will be greater than the installed mod would suggest. It's really bad mod.

Sunce you are making a mod, can you also somehow make, so that when in 3rd person, camera wouldn't snap around building and would go straight through? Or when you zoom out, won't point you straigh down (because a building is behind you and "it doesn't fit"?)
Nice video, I will try these mods asap. But I have one question - how the heck you move the camera around the vehicle WITHOUT moving your turret?! Whenever I use the tactical view or just wanna see whats happening behind or next to me, my turret (and gun of course) turns in that direction...? Is there a mod or something? My last round last session, I'm in Crocodile fighting nme CDT. The CDT had a faster fire rate than my Crocodile .... Seems legit. Yes, cheaters do exist. Then WG NA I suspect had an issue as everyone's bonds, gold, credits, xp, battlepass points were zeroed out, and it took 20 mins for me to get my stuff back.
With retocle size it the same, you´re lacking understanding of probebilities. Reticle size is the same, the thing is that the farther from the crosshars the point is, the less chances you have to hit it. This means that the chance of hitting the reticle itself is almost zero.
In the OldSkool safe shot mod settings there's a timer "for how long the shots are blocked" that's set to 3 seconds default. What does that mean? I can't shoot at all for 3 whole seconds after a shot is blocked?
If you were to keep aiming at the dead tank and holding left click, after 3 seconds it will stop blocking your shot and allow you to shoot again. If you move your mouse off the dead tank before that though you will instantly be able to shoot again.
Finally a short iyouxin Video! I need to update my modpack now because I’m missing some quality of life stuff you showed. I like to play with XVM because i can predict the enemy better. Red players behave predictable and sometimes allow me to push because I know they won’t stop me. Bonus: I play with a sixth sense countdown which is useful but for UA-cam I also would have chosen the clean one

battlehits mod just increase my frustration when i do 0 dmg with HE on borasq turrer, or enemy with 1 shot destorying my gun, dmg me and killing my driver. 1st OK. 2nd wierd because i do only crt that spot and 3rd WTF wargaming did my driver sit on the gun or what?
xvm is stil a nightmare i had battle where our foch155 didnt participate in battle beccause we have low winrate so he just stay in spawn and in that moment we needed his heat rounds against early and chief
Some accounts are not like yours mate.. often players play against A.I or so unbalanced teams it’s a guaranteed loss. True, it’s a skill based game but also how your account plays. Test it using bad accounts if you have multiple accounts. I didn’t believe it but after testing I believe it’s possibly true.
So does many other mods, like peneteration mod for example, it has always been this way with mods, can you imagine years back, casual players didnt even have viewrange if they didnt get a mod xD

There is a risk that the mods are conflicting and the game will crash or something won't work. You will notice that though, so best way is to check is to just give it a try.

Death cam is horrible, makes it hard to ping shot direction on map for allies. Instant off.
WG has already ingested many mods into the base game.

Then you probably changed your key layout, consider reversing it. I don't think it's possible to change the keybind for the turret lock.

My last round last session, I'm in Crocodile fighting nme CDT. The CDT had a faster fire rate than my Crocodile .... Seems legit. Yes, cheaters do exist. Then WG NA I suspect had an issue as everyone's bonds, gold, credits, xp, battlepass points were zeroed out, and it took 20 mins for me to get my stuff back.

With retocle size it the same, you´re lacking understanding of probebilities. Reticle size is the same, the thing is that the farther from the crosshars the point is, the less chances you have to hit it. This means that the chance of hitting the reticle itself is almost zero.
In the OldSkool safe shot mod settings there's a timer "for how long the shots are blocked" that's set to 3 seconds default. What does that mean? I can't shoot at all for 3 whole seconds after a shot is blocked?
If you were to keep aiming at the dead tank and holding left click, after 3 seconds it will stop blocking your shot and allow you to shoot again. If you move your mouse off the dead tank before that though you will instantly be able to shoot again.

I like to play with XVM because i can predict the enemy better. Red players behave predictable and sometimes allow me to push because I know they won’t stop me.
Bonus: I play with a sixth sense countdown which is useful but for UA-cam I also would have chosen the clean one

I have xvm and I can see who has it and who doesn't, and most times those who start like that, claiming % win or calling everyone tomato, don't even have xvm, so they're just idiots trying to flame

battlehits mod just increase my frustration when i do 0 dmg with HE on borasq turrer, or enemy with 1 shot destorying my gun, dmg me and killing my driver. 1st OK. 2nd wierd because i do only crt that spot and 3rd WTF wargaming did my driver sit on the gun or what?

xvm is stil a nightmare i had battle where our foch155 didnt participate in battle beccause we have low winrate so he just stay in spawn and in that moment we needed his heat rounds against early and chief

Some accounts are not like yours mate.. often players play against A.I or so unbalanced teams it’s a guaranteed loss. True, it’s a skill based game but also how your account plays. Test it using bad accounts if you have multiple accounts. I didn’t believe it but after testing I believe it’s possibly true.

It's currently not included because it's broken in the new update. Sometimes it takes a while for all mods to work again.

@iyouxintwitch One more question. After installing this mod pack, there was an option to 'delete all other mods' and it was recommended. does it mean I shouldn't install any other mods? there is one I really fancy but I can't seem to find it in Aslain's pack
There is a risk that the mods are conflicting and the game will crash or something won't work. You will notice that though, so best way is to check is to just give it a try.
