I hope this video was informative and if you have any more questions, feel free to leave me a comment! 😌 (or if you want to drown me and my roommates in compliments, that’s cool too)
I’ve gotta ask, I’m an exchange student from Australia coming to spend a full calendar year in Davis next year, but I was wondering what the best way to find places to rent is? I’ve been looking around, but want to make sure that I do it the right way. Any tips? Also, nice vids! I’ve been going through a whole range of different UC Davis vids from a lot of people, and it’s been a good way to get a vibe of the place I’ll be living in, in a few weeks
I just typed “apartments in davis” in google and checked various apartment websites (like apartments.com) to find other davis apartments that google didn’t find. And thank you! I’m glad you’ve been enjoying my videos! :)
I just got accepted to UCD as a transfer. So thanks for your vids definitely leaning towards Davis! Im curious about transfer housing. Heard a lot about West Village? Can you give any advice on that? tyy
The housing fair helps you learn more about the kinds of apartments available in davis whereas craigslist and facebook help you connect with students to find housemates, if that makes sense!
hi! I’m a freshman coming into ucd and I’m planning to live off campus in an apartment, would you have any general advice on good apartments near Davis?
hello! so heres’s a link to a helpful website about available apartments in davis: www.davisapartmentsforrent.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjwkJj6BRA-EiwA0ZVPVp6REmrJl7ygIeut1XgcTs4vBNmFgh65byJagbTHRjboTmpLZm6wrhoCxLsQAvD_BwE . They also link a UCD Housing blog, but personally, I really like using Facebook to look for housing. So i would start by following various housing groups to see what’s available!
I would check the UCD student housing website to see the current fees (i don't know if they have changed since I lived in the dorms). it also depends on if you live in a single, double, or a triple. also, you pay for the dorms per quarter (the cost gets rolled into your tuition fee) so you don't pay monthly.
Technically, no. They do offer second year living in the dorms but priority is given to all incoming freshman and the vast majority of second years live off campus.
I just got accepted to UCD as a transfer! Class of ‘22 🥳 I will def be binge watching your videos!
Congratulations!! So happy for you :))

So you can only be in the UCD dorm for 1 year? like only the first year? and then you have to get a apartment?
You can stay on campus your second year as well and stay in Cuarto, but most students move out of the dorms after their first year.
how do housing fairs compare to using Craigslist?

I JUST saw you! 😂
Would you be able to tell me about traffic at UCD. I plan to commute from Sacramento.
It takes around 25-30 minutes to get from Sac to Davis, depending on if you catch rush hour traffic or not. But it's not too awful of a commute.
I am not here to watch modeling girl. But useful information. Thanks
How much do you pay for the dorm every month

are dorms only for freshmen?
Technically, no. They do offer second year living in the dorms but priority is given to all incoming freshman and the vast majority of second years live off campus.
