Hey everyone, I know the livestream questions/answers don't get the same attention as a normal video might in terms of depth of response, so if you have a question about this topic in particular, feel free to leave it as a response to this and I'd be happy to try and answer it. As always, thanks for watching.
Heeeyyyy! Those are the types of my two adult sons!🤗 they’re besties. I heard these two type tend to get along really well and I’ve seen that reality. They rarely fought and they always shared a room. They DID, however, get into a lot of mischief together growing up! The INTJ was almost always the leader into the mischief and the ISFP went along for the fun😒 it was quite stressful😂
It's so interesting to see this pairing (xSFP-xNTJ). I am INFJ with a ISTP sister and from my observation this a common occurrence in siblings, to be on the same axis but with the cognitive functions in different order.
Your comments about INTJs sacrificing a certain amount of identity for the utility of certain relationships made a lot of things make more sense to me about my past. I think the fact your trains of thought help me have those moments is one of the biggest reasons I followed your content to begin with and still do even after unsubscribing from every other typology UA-cam I followed.
Thank you for this! I'm an INTJ with a very developed FI child so sometimes I wonder if I'm an ISFP since I don't relate to INTJ stereotypes. But when explained the way you and others describe the types, I don't have doubts about being an INTJ.
@@lightninghood7876 yep, from this video alone, the two types seem to be twins. i test intj in most tests( i know, i know!), but some self certified mbti experts claimed i might be an isfp. reading about functions, listening to other mbti cult members, watching videos like this doesn't help much unfortunately.
@@bostanmariana2512 I always test as an INTJ, but the things I say, especially over text, always come across as very ISFPish. I think it is because of my writing and organizing skills and the values I have cultivated. However, looking back on my life, many of my actions have been handled like an ISFP would. I can't tell if I should base my personality on my actions or past actions (memories tend to stick when you are acting in novel ways), or how I have always perceived myself to be. Also, I'm too intimidated to get typed by someone else rn, the act would probably be an unnecessary time sink, and why would I trust anyone else to be an expert on me anyway?
My question: How could gender affect personality type development and identification? Women, or people "assigned female at birth", are generally groomed to develop or display Fe for example, regardless of their actual type.
So basically the relationship between the dominant and inferior function is like David vs Goliath if Goliath didn't fuck around and just stomped David off the bat, while your two middle functions are stuck in this arm-wrestling match which sometimes leans one way, sometimes the other, but no one ever really brings the other arm down to the table.
Very interesting, I've always tested as INTJ, but I think I'm actually an ISFP because I love astrology and I'm always talking about my future predictions.
The latter is much more expressive with their beliefs, and far more grounded, for lack of a better word. For example, people often go on and on about the material world, and it often makes me angry. People are more than that, the thought that people think everything begins and ends with the matter that makes up our bodies is one of the most disturbing I can think of. But I bet legitimately two people I know probably would think I'd ever think this way, let alone expect me to share it with them.
Socionics shows ISFP (SEI) is an actual perceiver that leads with correctly defined SiFe. This means ISFP (SEI) and INTJ (ILI) form a SuperEgo relationship.
Socionics, observation, and common sense show ISFP leads with a perceiving function of Si. ONLY the 4 introverted sensors have different first 2 functions between mbti and Socionics. And that is because of the mbti introverted sensing cognitive stack error. INTJ is going to look for return on investment. They might put on a mask for a while, if it means resources. As in, are you useful to me or not? I am useful to you? Let's be useful to each other. ISFP will not care as much about resources, especially if it means being not being authentic. INTJ can con people for resources, ISFP is likely to not do that ISFP is more likely to talk about their NI desires while INTJ will keep it hidden. INTJ doesn't like spontaneous things.. ISFP is more likely to be okay with spontaneity

Socionics shows ISFP (SEI) leads with SiFe and values Ne more than Ni. Ne is more creative/artistic than Ni. Trust me when I say my ISFP brother leads with correctly defined Si and values Ne much more than Ni.
With all the respect chris, I think that this discussion is very shallow, if not just incorrect. Does an intj actually share what they want with other people very readily or our intjs very selective about who they share their wants with? What kind of Ni perceptions might an intj share with others? Also, when it comes to astrology or witchcraft, wouldn't that fall under the category of values?
@@EresirThe1st From experience as an INTJ (a more mature one if I may be so brash) I’ve found the reason for being selective in regards to who I share my views with is based on my own ability (especially when I was younger) to articulate my views in a manner in which others can understand. For us it’s easier to be selective in who we engage with, limiting ourselves to individuals more capable of understanding or empathising with us easily, rather than adapt our narrative in a way that can be broadly received.
Appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback, the livestream responses don't get the same level of planning a normal video might. In terms of INTJs and sharing, I was referring to a quote from Jung. "You don’t normally hear that kind of speech; but she assumed that the old man, of course, knew everything and did understand such kind of language. So you see, if the introverted intuitive would speak what he really perceives, practically no one would understand him; he would be misunderstood. Thus they learn to keep things to themselves. You hardly ever hear them talking of these things." And this is actually part of the growth journey of Pi dominants, both Ni and Si. The issue is that even developed INTJs very rarely share the actual Ni insight and more so often share instead the Te translation of such an insight, it misses more of the raw essence which seems to be slightly more openly expressed with the ISFP.
@@AsuraPsych the difficulty being that an average conversation doesn’t allow the time nor nuance it would take to accurately articulate our Ni. It’s taken me many years to succinctly describe my thought process to others in way that doesn’t make me sound utterly insane haha.
