I knew her, had her first semester my freshman year of high school. I still live in Iowa but I'm a sophomore now in a different town. She was a very sweet lady, I didn't know a single person who disliked her. I was feeling really bad one day and she didn't pry, she just asked me if there was anything she could do and told me "Its okay, honey. You're only fourteen, you have your whole life ahead of you to be sad about boy trouble. Have a good weekend, and tell your sister I say hi." To think that two people my age, hell I could've passed them in the halls, killed her is absolutely sickening. She was so kind and I can't imagine how the rest of the Trojans feel about this.

I truly feel so sorry for what happened to her, and her son is truly a brave person, but definitely with any situation in life especially something like this you need to look at all possible theories no matter how dark or cruel they may seem.
Something like this luckily never happened at my high school, but they definitely were teachers that played favorites and I was a victim of being the outcast all my life because none of the teachers cared for me unfortunately. Of course I never even thought of committing such a horrid thing like these two boys did.
However, I would like to know what the motive was because honestly if it was because they were being singled out and miss treated, then that is something that needs to be addressed to the schools everywhere and life outside of school. I was in her first ever class when she started teaching there in 2012. You could tell she was a very family oriented person. I remember her talking about her family all the time. She had a really cool story about how she met her husband and moved to the US. I honestly was a terrible student and didn't try very hard and she made sure to hold all her students accountable. I don't remember her being very popular while I was there in fact when my wife told me someone murdered her the first thing I thought after how terrible that was, was I bet it was one of here students who did it. Here is the thing though, while I can't speak for everyone I can say my poor performance in her class was 100% MY fault she did her job to the best of her ability as far as I was concerned and I just didn't put in the effort. It seems she has become far more popular since I was there and I'm glad to see that. It's really a shame what happened to her. I think one of the nicest memories I have of her was she was up teaching class like any other day and there was a girl in the front row quietly crying and Mrs. Graber simply gave her a tissue and sort of a sympathetic look for lack of a better term and then continued teaching. She didn't make a big scene in front of everyone and draw a lot of attention to the girl just simply a small act of kindness and showed her she cared and got right back to work. That's pretty cool if you ask me. I hope her family and friends get through this alright. Her and her husband raised some damn good kids based on her son's comment, it really speaks volumes about who she was as a wife and a mother. Rest in peace Mrs. Graber

This entire story is tragic... But I must say, God BLESS her son, he is filled with the forgiveness of the Holy Spirit! Many would speak hate towards them after doing what they did, no one would blame him ether. But he choses to take the Godly way and choose forgiveness, GOD bless him and his family! I pray for some semblance of piece and justice to come from this situation! 🙏✝️

The boys knew that the teacher takes a stroll in the park everyday and was literally waiting to ambush her and even had prior communication about their plans and yet they’re not charged with MURDER??? How is this a homicide case??? I don’t understand… So sad! And wow on the forgiving son wow… What a big and strong heart!🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻

Homicide is a form of murder. Different states have different definitions for certain charges. Plus, if there intent was to commit another crime, say rob her after killing her, then they could be charge with felony murder/homicide.

It was premeditated they planned it. They should get life or death penalty
