I had a best friend who threatened to blow my head off because I voted trump. I felt the light of Satan come from her. I cut her off. We were great friends for 10 years prior.

@@nesq4104 Wow, I'm sorry that happened! I had an old college friend who contacted me every few years. I realize now it was always about her wanting me to help support her financially, although I was struggling to be independent due to a disability. I felt sorry for her when she said she was going through a divorce and couldn't pay the mortgage on her house nor for basic needs. So, I helped her although my health was declining, I soon lost my job, and I was already living in low-income housing. I eventually allowed her to come stay with me temporarily, which was a HUGE mistake. I thought I'd never get her to leave, and she was claiming my belongings for her own. She was creeeepy and I didn't know what she was capable of. I finally wrote her off as a friend, but the emotional scars are still there. People we think are our friends can be our worst enemies.

@@polkadots716 oh yes. We never know what's lurking in the heart and soul of another person. Its sad but some are psychopaths or they just snap due to life's pressures. When I say I experienced the light of Satan from my friend I really mean I experienced the light of Satan through her. Its real. I experienced the light of God, warm and amber, overflowing with love and abundance. But the light of Satan from her was white, and empty and dead. It really made me feel like I could fall over and die. It was an energy I felt from Her cursing me out over my vote and blaming me for everything wrong in usa because of it. I said to people I felt like she could kill me. 2 years later she verbalized during that rant of hers (on thanksgiving) that she wanted to blow my head off. Well when she said that it confirmed everything I felt on a spiritual level. Dont doubt your instincts. But lesson learned just because you had a great relationship with someone doesn't mean they can't snap inside and physically hurt you. I'm glad you could cut her off. Now you know why she was getting a divorce.. lol.. the emotion of letting that person go hurts inside but With the type of mental illness going around when someone says something you better listen and remove yourself or them.

So sad for this lady. My Dad physically and emotionally abused me all through my childhood and adolescent years. He broke my hand and tried to strangle me, whilst my Mum stood by and did nothing to stop or report it. I left home at 17, and at 27 tried to re-connect with them, and within a short time my father physically assaulted me as an adult. That was it; I cut all ties, and I'm almost 50, and my parents are both out of my life. Best thing I ever did, and I was able to have a normal, law-abiding, productive, gainfully employed life.

An angry jealous and lazy woman is what Karen had for a sister. Be aware of people like this and don't take them in no matter what b/c it's not your obligation to take care of lazy people. These were elderly women, so honestly, Karen had to know that her sister was never going to change, know, I know it might seem like I'm going to hard, but I come from a very, very dysfunctional family, my own family members abused me and they thought that I would be ok with it and that I should always love them, but I went a different direction because I wasn't going to allow my own family to hurt me when I'm an adult, but with these 2, I think they've always spoke hateful to each other, especially with the friends saying that, they said, horrible and horrific things to each other, and sometimes 2 siblings like this can thrive off of the drama, no, I don't agree with what her sister did at all, you don't ever kill anybody it's obvious that Debra was and is mentally ill so her sister could have probably put her in a mental facility or she could have checked her in to a mental facility for 7 days to be evaluated. If she would have done that, she probably would be alive today because the mental facility would have known that she was serious about hurting her sister, I just think the both of them are to blame for what happened, and I don't necessarily think that Karen was some angel, something else was going on here. It had to be 2 sisters who always probably hated each other, and I know everybody is gonna say, how can I say that well, because I've been through these types of things. I've seen it in my own family, but I don't have a relationship with my family because they're like this, I decided to be a better person, and Karen could have decided that too. Their relationship has probably always been like this, Karen wouldn't make her leave her home when she could have, so I do think that it also partly Karen's fault, she should have made her leave, but for some reason. I just wish there was more resources available to women. I'm so sorry for what you & your mom went through. Thats the cycle you try to prevent your kids from following. I have 2 daughters age 21 & 24 who have struggled in their 1st serious relationships. Luckily with my help they were able to get away. My oldest daughter is now married to a great man. My 21 year old daughter is not dating, shes going to school & work. My boys are 19 & 14. The 3 oldest kids are from my ex,their father and I got together when I was 16, i left him in 2005 when I was 29. He remarried twice then divorced from both & had 3 more kids from those marriages. We were still friendly with each other, he would call every few months to see how i was doing, always flirted & several times would cry & express how sorry he was. He grew up in a very violent home with physical, mental & sexual abuse. I know he was remorseful but he was who he was unfortunately. Last year, He was living with a girlfriend, they had been together about a year. Him & his girlfriend came from Houston to North Ga for our oldest daughters wedding last June & then last November, I received a call the he shot himself committed suicide. It's devastating & my kids are really suffering. We are doing better as time passes but last Sunday was really hard for them being the 1st fathers day without him. We knew Karen. She was a loving person with a VERY strong sense of family. She loved and took care of her parents and bought them the house. When her father died, she bought his share of the house. She took care of and deeply loved her mother (sacrificing of her own relationship). She loved her nephew as well. She was a very caring person who unfortunately put her family above herself.

Every covert narcissist or psychopath has a family, and we all know families are not always healthy or safe.

Have an incredibly abusive and dishonest older sister. Thief, liar, abusive to my mom, whom she drained hundreds of thousands of dollars from. Recently she has been reaching out to me and my other sisters because her husband is ill. None of us want anything to do with her. She went out of her way to destroy our childhoods and tried to keep the terror campaign throughout adulthood. She was extremely violent when younger. Broke a hard cover book over my head, broke my nose, stole all the jewelry my mother had given me, hit me with her car when I was standing on our driveway, etc. And that's just what she did to me.
I would never allow her into my home. Ever.
