Thanks for posting this. I am a violinist, and my sister, a cellist, and I are learning a transcribed version of this. It really is beautiful. Thank you.
I am a violist and I am playing this with my violinist friend who lives around the corner. I have played transcriptions a bit in my day and I will say I was a little surprised that this was not a string piece to begin with. I cant' speak for the clarinet part, but when the heck do you get to breathe in the bassoon? Yikes! This must be a circular breathing exercise that haunts students regularly. Nice job, guys! Thanks for sharing. Peace!
You're both right, it's exhausting! My solution was to just keep pushing, and not program anything else tiring very close to this piece! Not much help, but for endurance problems I usually just use the brute force solution.
Not the best that I have heard , but very good for such a hard piece of music. For this piece I guess that Beethoven didn't think that either musician needed to breath. I play bassoon and playing this piece is like sprinting a mile.

@letterT123 Same here! Going to play this and a vivaldi concerto for my recital pieces this year for my band class.
Agree! Does anyone know a solution for the bassoonist's breathing problems in this piece?

I wish I played C Clarinet instead of Bb...
So I could read flute music without transposition. XD
