Danny Evans is the best spanish teacher for me - with great charisma and variety in the language - I love his teaching method and have so much fun with learning spanish! Muchas gracias!
Maaaaaaaan…I’m a simple country boy from Arkansas who’s been learning Spanish for 20 years and you sir are without a DOUBT the most comprehensive, effective, and enjoyable Spanish teacher I’ve ever seen!!! Muchas gracias maestro! Eres mi favorito ahora!!
I just started my journey into learning Spanish about three weeks ago, and I must say, Danny Evans makes a subject that feels very overwhelming, feel much less stressful! Anytime I am learning a new aspect of the subject, I immediately look for Danny's videos and he makes each topic very understandable!
I was confused, but now I understand the difference! I have been studying Spanish with your videos for 2 months now during the pandemic. Muchas gracias!!!

Buenas tardes, Danny. Ahora tengo un trabajo con tres hispanohablantes y ellos no tienen mucho englais. Hace tres años estoy estudiando español y la ideoma es mas clara cada dia. Los jefes aqui no hablan español. Nunca. Y a muchos veces tengo que a traducir. Me gusta mucho. A veces por y para es un problema para mi. Gracias. Tu amigo, J. Kelly👣

'Rah, Devil Dog! I was in the Army. I work with a tutor for four hours per week and I'm always looking for more resources to use so that I can become fluent in Spanish someday. Thanks for becoming another resource for me!
I am so encouraged by this episode. I am watching to get to know the use of POR and PARA. What I have found is that I am able to translate, with near perfect accuracy all of the sample sentences into Spanish. This illustrates yet again, to me how great you are Dr Evans. Thankyou so much for what you do.
Thank you for uploading your lessons , I’m a 30yr old college student learning Spanish for the first time. I honestly learn more from you than in the classroom. I would not be passing Spanish if it weren’t for your videos.
Great lesson, its much better when you use examples of what we learn in context... sometimes when we are taught verbs without context its difficult to imagine where they are used in conversation
Finally got the idea. Para is used when something or someone is at the receiving end of the point you're trying to make. This was the best por vs. para video I've watched so far. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hola Mr. Evans, i am in love with your videos and the way that you explains not only POR vs. Para but all your videos. Super sample, and easy to understand. I always give to my students your link so they can go and review what they learned in class with me. Me encanta y gracias!
Thank you! Having watched a video on the same topic on another channel, I realise that your success is in breaking your tutorials down into chunks and using clear visuals. The other big thing is that you speak at an easy to follow pace. Great teaching, thanks 😀
Thank You So Much Professor Danny. This Video Really Clarified some of the "Fine Points" in the Usuages of POR and PARA. I LOVE Your Sample Sentences and Easy Style of Teaching Us even the most complex material. Paz y Bendeciones. Kelly
Sir, I'm a little confused with the usage of 'a' in few contexts where it means 'for'.. Like the example you gave, 'Por su amor a los niños'... Why not 'por los niños?? I'm glad I found an amazing teacher!! The best part about your teaching is, you keep it simple and clear! Me gustan sus lecciones.. Muchas gracias!!
When the direct object of a verb is a specific person or pet animal, 'a' is placed immediately before it. So for your case, I believe amor is the verb of the sentence, 'a' would be placed right after it. Keep in mind though, this type of 'a' is a personal 'a'. You can do more research on that. Something to remember is that a personal 'a' is NOT used after the verb 'tener'. It's used for every other verb, however, you must include the rule that I mentioned above, which is that 'a' is placed right after the verb if the sentence contains a specific person. Hope this helped!
@@myk1137 The phrase "por su amor a los niños" is translated "for her (his) love for the children". It indicates the reason that she/he is doing something. It would more accurately be translated as doing something "because of her/his love of the children". Her/his "love of the children" is the motivation for what is being done.
I was studying for a Spanish test about this in school and I came to this video because i was studying for the test. This video has been very helpful, and thank you so much!
