British bands from the early thirties are a joy to hear all these years later! Thanks for sharing this sparkling set of different top bands to enjoy and compare. I love the "on the spot" recordings which capture the ambience of their live sounds, just as those lucky patrons heard and enjoyed them at the time! Flat American studio recordings can't compare!
With the world in the shape it is today. I have decided to turn my back on the modern world. I only listen to music from the 1900’s to the 1940’s. Next is no mobile phone 📱 ect. Please more new posts.
Can't stop playing this. On a rainy day with Pride due to start in the pouring rain in Brighton and I play this and marvel at the quality of the music and adore looking at those photos. Such handsome people! Thank you so much.
PRIDE ??? Oh ! Pride goeth before the fall, and that's biblical. The creator God will not support what he calls an abomination. ( SIN ) do you remember hearing about the biblical count of Sodom and Gomorrah? Nothing has changed !

You realise that when you see it. There weren't film clips taken in sufficient quantity at the time. I guess nobody e4xpected anybody to want them for home consumption. But it is what it is.

Ótima seleção . Do Brasil
Obrigado
Very nice.
Good to hear a different rendering (2nd number in the compilation) of a Reginald Foresythe composition that was not styled as 'new music'.
I think it is a really good song.
