    I really enjoyed this. I watched the whole thing. I love the way you have it close up while you're working, it helps me learn exactly what and why you're doing the things you're doing.
    I couldn't get this info from other videos, but your silent approach and close ups help explain a lot.

    Master Yousun, that was a marvelous assembly. Appreciate your meticulous attention to each section and clean set up. A brief description on the BMS type and model and charging voltage would enhance the whole video much better. Last but not least...... please describe your SPOT WELDER. Show us, in sequence, how you made it, what parts were used and the technical data. Thanks again.

    copper has one third of the resistance than nickel and can be found everywhere for cheap- I would solder at least the parallelization wires using solid copper wire. Then I cover all my contacts with transparent neutral silicone to decrease the risk of accidentally shortening or effects of moisture...

    Isn't there a faster way to connect these batteries for 48V 20AH? My 12V 20AH sealed lead acid batteries in 2 boxes only has 4 battery connections and 2 connectors for easy handling to and from the trike. Just connect the 2 boxes for 48V and a connector to the trike controller. They are charged On or Off the trike and charged at 48V 20AH.
    I have only lost 1 12V battery in over 2 years of full discharge cycle. I just replaced it in place and the pack is on its 8 month of use now, getting about the usual 60km per charge.

    Hi,
    thanks for an interesting Li-Ion Pack building video. I build my own, so I understand the time involved and extra time to film it.
    Some comments;
    Pros; Nice professional build using what looks to be top shelf spot welder and equipment.
    I like the way you built the layout of the pack and left cell holder openings that are protecting the connections.
    cons;
    Imagine the work required to take that pack apart if there is ever a bad cell or poor spot weld.
    Note; I did notice you check EVERY singe connection to be sure they were all properly welded.
    Once again, color code wire problem.
    BTW; the DC electric world as I've always know it is Red is Positive and Black is Negative. China doesn't seem to have a clue about that.
    Is that Blue wire positive or (probably) negative. And I can't really tell where it is connected on the BMS.
    VERY important steps you left out for us DIY folks.
    You show x2 48v voltage tests but don't show where the connections go! :-(
    Also, between the shrink wrap, Barley paper and tape, you've sealed it so well, there will be NO cooling air able to circulated around the cells.
    Here in the desert of Southern California, that could be fatal to that pack.
    Don't take my comments wrong, it's few and far between seeing decent videos on pack building and all involved. I give you high marks and only hope to see more in depth info on the subjects I addressed.
    cheers
