Doing it already, but it’s double work, which slows down the main english channel. Unless you have a team, it’s easier said than done. Do it, but don’t overwhelm yourself people 💚
Hire fiverr to dub it in x language? It should cut the time and effort needed but it will surely cost.

I personally have 2 channels, with 1 language each. As I'm still a newbie, I think it helps simplify the algorithm and makes UA-cam better at finding your audience. At first I had 1 channel with 2 languages, but I think it ended up confusing the algorithm. I had very few views. Now that I have 2 channels specifically catered towards 1 language each, I feel like there are more views. Also, I thought that my English channel would have more views, but surprisingly my local language channel has more. I think it's probably because there's less competition honestly.
It's good but not easy for small channels who don't have multiple people helping out..needs a lot of time.
Most English UA-camrs don't even write English subtitles for deaf people even though that's one of the easiest jobs in the world. Let alone translate it into other languages, which is way harder and thus you gotta pay a bunch of people for it.

I am russian, but I know a little english and can listen helpful tips even in another languages. It's funny, I learn English right now and this video talks about languages.😄 But I still can't do content in English, it's hard for me.

Only the titles, bit of text at the end, and the hidden subtitle telling people to subscribe are in English

Good idea
For me personally, I find that having 2 channels with 2 different languages is better for me. This is because as a new channel, UA-cam's algorithm is crazy sloow, so my videos aren't getting recommended to a lot of people. This means that there's only a handful of views. I find that having 2 channels with different languages, makes the algorithm muuuch faster at finding its intended audiences. So there's actually more views in total.
Adding subtitles are a lot of work especially for solo content creators. If only UA-cam made it easier for us. Unless you paid people to do it.

My content is in Spanish. I add manually the subtitles only in Spanish except for my shorts, the subtitles are both in Spanish and English :)

is it legal to upload the same video with different audio language ? the terms of use of YT say that you are not allowed to upload the same video multiple times.
@@DoughnutDragon OK thanks. What about YT shorts without voice over but with animated text burned-in in a different language? Does that also count? Even if it is one word?
And if you don't add a second language, UA-cam might do that for you anyway, EXCEPT the translations might make zero sense at all. Language channels like mine have to battle that to attract only the right audience.
