I'm so glad someone finally made one for domestic use. Brilliant if you tend to lose your keys.

very happy and cheesy advert, but when I was chilling in my car on the other side of the road Chris come stamping in and put the code in without a care in the world so he doesn't miss his valuable gaming time.
    I see code.
Proceed to help myself to free shiz.

you wouldn't give your son the code. You retain the pin code... For children, it's recommended to give them a key fob - so your kids can use in just the same way as a normal key.

Brilliant door, I've had mine for 4 months now and still can't get used to going out without my keys.
My only wish-list would be a firmware update to allow changing the voice.

Can this be installed with multi-point locks found on modern UPVC external doors?

That's cool. until you see the 'Yale Shi#Box' (as we've dubbed it) which has to go on the inside of the door. For something that only houses a tiny PCB & 4 AA batteries they couldn't have made it much bigger! And because there's no extension, it has to sit directly above the handle/nightlatch. It's hard to find a picture of one online, but they really look beyond naff. Worse still, really easy for children to remove the cover and pop a battery - thus rendering the lock useless: great fun for locking Dad out of the house but again, why? Handy feature for burglars though - you simply enter the master code you've watched the homeowner put in previously, go in the front, pop the battery and you're sealed inside. If anyone comes back this gives you ample time to quietly disappear from another exit. And I can't stress enough it is the nastiest looking piece of tacky plastic crap knocked out for 13p in a Chinese factory... WHY OH WHY YALE? This is supposed to be a high-end, (certainly it's high cost) lifestyle & business locking solution! Sadly I didn't realise until I'd bought one, so it's a bit too late, and I'll figure something out probably a custom-made metal battery housing and see if we can wire in an extension but surely it's Yale's job to design their products properly, not mine? This could have been an 8/10 product, but 2/10 until they sort out the security and cosmetic flaws.

I used this company and really regret it. They did a terrible job in fitting my door and wouldn't fix it. They just ended up in ignoring my communications. I wouldn't recommend them. To top it all the keyfree lock I had installed with the door has also failed after 3 years! So much for modern technology.
Interestingly, as I was getting no response from YaleDoor I complained to Yale and they said they have never heard of YaleDoor and they aren't anything to do with them. I find it odd that they wouldn't know about someone using their trademark name? Something very fishy about all this.
