I ran a 14.5 in a local track meet a few years ago when I was 48. I remember being really disappointed because I could run a 12.5 back in high school. I was a distance runner--not a sprinter. Now, after watching these people, I feel better about myself!
14.5 is alright for sure dude...12.5 is really fast wow.
Being 48 and still running that fast is still impressive though. Of course you're going to be slower than back in high school in your prime when you were running all the time.

I mean except for gas to get there, but cmon, there's a few tracks in LA open to the public I know of that they could've gone to 🤷🏻♂️ oh well, though, wouldn't really have changed the video, none of them would've beat him. But as a track athlete myself, I would've liked to have seen them actually at a track and maybe actually in some athletic clothes taking it seriously, they still wouldn't have been close, but would've been fun to see what they could do.

in the 200m you run a curve, not a corner. Curves don't slow you down but corners do

Probably not quite the fastest in the world, but it's true that such an adrenaline rush can give a significant push.
Why he didn't run? Because there are billions invested and advertised in bolt's legs. The would never risk an injury if they would let him run

Injury while training (In the right footing, pro track, with the right equipment, and the probability of injury to it's minimal ) =/= Injure while running for some UA-cam Channel/Media Coverage company against non-racers, not in a official competition, with no sponsors.
Good point, they definitely should have done this on an actual track. The times that these people got meant nothing because if I remember correctly there were 2 sharp turns, which slow down your time considerably. If they did this on a track then Bolt wouldn't be scared of stepping on a rock and spraining his ankle so he could run as long as he warmed up.

Not really... To take 5 seconds off of a running time for a 100 meter dash would be extremely hard. He did very well especially considering the 90 degree angle but in reality he wasn't THAT close. Again, he did well but he wasn't close to Usain's record.
nah, it would be generous of me to remove 1 sec for the turn, and maybe another for his clothes, another for his lack of training, yet he still nowhere close.
That’s not close at all, I give him MAX 1.5 seconds off if he didn’t have the turn and was in regular clothes. Normal people think that cutting of 5 seconds is nothing, but it’s almost impossible in a sprint. If I took 5 seconds off my freshman year 100m dash (and I’m not even a sprinter) I’d destroy usain’s record.
