@@lauriecarter8931 cheers man I have visited before but yeah I don't think I got much on film!
Oh we are so back! Looking forward to all the new videos
Good to have you along for the ride!
A rainy day in Wuhan.... so begins the new chapter and a continuation of a wonderful story. Cant wait to watch all your adventures
Yeah man the rain pretty much kept me looking for somewhere indoors that day - I remember walking for ages in the rain after the vid too. I was looking for a nice mall to use the toilet and walked for miles 😅 Totally drenched
Great video, that was a gruesome story though! Geez. So glad we have more of these to watch 🙂
Yeah things were pretty rough back in those days! And yeah more to come ;)
Mark back on the case!!!! Welcome ,nice to see you're back!
Cheers man yeah back!
Hey Mark, I'm a South African living in China. Iv been watching all your content for years now. Keep up the awesome videos mate.
Much appreciate man! Whereabouts are you in China?
I'm in Changsha, Hunan province. Ever visited this part of China before?@@TwoCentsOnTour
@@craiglottering5094 ah man I planned to visit on this trip! But I swear the weather report said thunderstorms every day I looked 😂 it's not far from Wuhan though so definitely on my list
1 hour 12 mins by hsr. Basically right next door.
@@craiglottering5094It's the same part of China. Hunan and Hubei were always governed together historically.
Keep making great vids and hopefully UA-cam will one day fund your trips to China, lol...
@@joysun2015 lol yeah one of these days things will take off bro 😅
Us Munster guys know exactly what you were doing when you slipped in the Ol' " stand up and fight" quote.
You should have given us a blast of the song😊
Haha it felt only right mate 😅
Delighted there's another batch of these on the way. And an especially interesting one today. 👍
Yeah man I wasn't too sure how this place would be - but it was good for a miserable day outside!
Reppin Munster in Wuhan. Nice one Mark
Yeah man had to take that jersey with me!
The Warlord Era is one of my favourite periods in Chinese history. Great stuff as always!
Yeah man it was really a turbulent time!
Thanks for the 2nd season of Mark's adventures in little known Wuhan. Gotta command your editing. Can't wait for next vlogs
Cheers man yeah this one was a indoor pick given the weather 😅 But yeah man more to come!
Great! More glimpses of Wuhan life.
More to come mate!
Nice video Two Cents History Teacher.
Haha yeah man a different hat on this week apparently

So impressed when you communicate in their language.
Cheers from Durban.
Appreciate it mate! And yeah it definitely helps when getting around
Nice video as always Mark!
@@nivzfrabx3718 thanks mate! More to come
Yay more China travel videos! Interesting I noticed that China and Japan use the exact same characters for numbers (I have been learning some Japanese recently).
Yeah man Japan took on the Chinese writing system way back in the day - although it's become very much its own thing now, there are still some which still have the same meaning
@@TwoCentsOnTour Yeah I think some of the Kanji characters have the same meaning in Japanese and Chinese, but the words used will be mostly different.
@@benrobinson375 yeah I did a little Japanese (but sucked totally at it). I remember 好 means "to like" in Japanese, but in Chinese is more just like "good" - so yeah it's different. Can be a bit like English and French at times I guess
@@TwoCentsOnTour heh, Japanese is hard. It doesn't help they have three different writing systems which get used seemingly interchangeably.
@@benrobinson375 yeah man I got through hiragana, katakana and some kanji - it was the grammar that killed me though 😅
You gonna wear a Scarlets shirt ?
@@Garethlewis89 I don't think I took one on this trip, did take a Wales t-shirt though 😅
Brilliant video!
Many thanks!
If the rest of the world make monuments to the workers killed by the greed of the "businessmen" there not be space left in the public squares. Hell, in the US not even the first of May is commemorate as a holiday (a date who is remembered in all the world as the "International workers day" because the workers killed in Chicago in 1889).
Yeah I don't think we have anything for people considered martyrs here in Auckland - none that I'm aware of anyway. We have a lot of war memorials and a few kind of "great man/leader" statues.
That being said - apart from the police and military visitors, there didn't seem to be any "regular" visitors there on the day I went.
I actually told a couple of locals I was going there, and there reaction was more or less "oh yeah I've been there once on a school trip" - so I get the feeling it's not a super "popular" .
The revolution site I visited the year before had a lot more regular people going, same with Chairman Mao's old place

How can I THANK YOU for this one? I can't!!!!! Time for China to show this one to the world! I don't like this new wave of "WEST" support for China! THANK YOU SIR for doing this!
