You my dear are the Bob Ross of baking! You just make it look so easy. I am still struggling with bread, I even got a bread maker and alas my bread still does not turn out. I’m not giving up though. Thank you for the inspiration and your lemon cake is my next goal.
Tried this today and it tasted good! I used cream of tartar instead of vinegar. I divided the batter by 3 and used 3 8x2 loaf pans. 170c for 20mins then 150c for the rest of 10mins (30mins total baking time). After cooling, I frosted it with coffee flavored whipped cream and topped with sliced almonds 🫰🏻🫶🏻 Thanks for this recipe!!!
My husband's grandmother used to make this many years ago. After she died I asked for the recipe - but there wasn't one, so I guess it was "all in her head". This is the closest I've seen to what she made. Will try making this recipe this week!! Can't wait!!

@@frequentflier5279 I baked it at 170C. The reason I baked it a bit longer than stated in the recipe was just that I always bake chiffon cakes (8-in pan, with 5 eggs) for about 40-45 mins. Just to make sure it won’t be undercooked you know.
Just made this and it was delicious 😋 (there was no cake on the table after 30 mins lol) i also made the chocolate chiffon which was also a hit. Will try the other flavors soon ♥️
