This demonstration of the Maven app's precise and seamless integration with the venerable Mavic 2 Zoom is a great reminder that these 5-year-old DJI masterpieces of drone engineering still give a good account of themselves as versatile aerial photography platforms. The Mavic 2 Zoom is a superbly designed alternative to the newest DJI drones emerging even today in October 2024, five years past the time when the Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro were released to become flagships of the DJI hobbyist-grade quadcopter drone category. I'll never sell my pair of Mavic 2 Pros and my first ever Mavic 2 Zoom is inbound by snail mail as I type these words. Compatible with Litchi and capable of autonomously completing waypoint missions even if the controller is powered off, the M2Zoom and M2Pro are the last of the truly unfettered DJI quadcopters. Thank you sir for posting this excellent video testimony that "recertifies" the tried and tested Mavic 2 Zoom workhorse for the discerning aerial photographer not inclined to follow trends chased by the loping herd.
@@riverbankfisher thank you for your awesome comment. I agree with you 100%. I will not buy a newer DJI drone until they decide to release the SDK for 3rd party developers. The Maven and Litchi apps are a great tool to use for drone filming.
