Bristol gives me a Seattle maybe a bit of Oregon vibe not just for the weather but for the way people dress. Like the laid back attitude in the way people dress and choose vintage/second hand clothing.
This isn’t how actual Bristolians dress, the people he interviewed are students who come from a bit of everywhere. If he came to places like lockleaze, hartcliffe etc we dress as what Americans call “thugs” and the style is completely different to park street and Clifton!

Bristol is a very diverse city. You will find the way people dress can differ between areas. I would say there is defiantly an increase in vintage/second hand clothing due to an increase in clothing stores and pop up kilo clothes sales

I used to live in London and have very good close friends in Bristol, I would live there as its very into arts, music and has a sense of community there which i liked very much. These days I would rather live in Bristol not in London but tbh if could choose any city in the UK I'd def choose Brighton. I love being by the seaside
I’ve lived in Brighton most of my life apart from time in London and it is really lovely - the sea, countryside 15 minutes drive away, the whole party vibe (even if you’ve outgrown that).

This is fast becoming my fave youtube channel. I have long held a fascination with clothes and fashion. Going back to the 80s, i used to love watching The Clothes Show on BBC. I just love seeing all the different clothes that people wear. I myself tho, have ZERO sense of fashion. I just like to wear my comfy sports wear, most of the time. Back in the 90s, i was a bit of a label junkie

This makes me miss Bristol so much! All my favourite corners of the city😂 but honestly all the students at Bristol dress like that. You might live in a 3 storey mansion but you wear charity shop clothes, your grandpas jacket and edgy pair of shoes from depop. And it’s deffo better than London people really are lovelier😍

Do you know why it is that not many people have the accent? I have heard of regional languages declining but not accents!

Wow they are so really casually dressed, I'm always shocked as a Northener exiled in the South how casual everyone dresses compared to back home. Even in London they do casual or business, I stick to my Northern style though, leopard coats, Russian faux fur hats, long boots, vintage frilly blouses, fluffy jumpers and tube skirts and boyfriend jackets, maxi dresses, in the summer. Northeners are more sporty or glam than the South.
Best dressed here was the cute doggo in his orange outfit, a dude with style!

I'm from Bristol and for all the people saying how polite and friendly everyone is be aware he walked around the 3 biggest student area's in the city, I love Bristol and the area's he walked around but if had tried the same in a few of the suburbs he would have been lucky to go home with camera equipment and the clothes on his back.

I moved from Bristol to London because Bristol was too small so it’s funny to hear people say London is too big because I LOVE London so much more! Bristol is as expensive as London but the wages are terrible. Can’t say I miss it 😂

I live South of Bristol and also South of Bath and I have never understood People that say they are going in to Bath to either Shop, Party, or just to have a Day out Sight Seeing - you cannot be serious, Bath over Bristol, NO WAY! Bristol has so so much, including Friendly People, much more Affordability, and such an amazing choice of Shops to choose from, Parking is Cheap, everything is also within such a Short Walking Distance of Car Parks. Yep you guessed it, I really dislike how Bath has now been shaped by BANES Council - it has been ruined by Greed!
