I hate short-body fish, I think they are ugly because I love the longer flowing bodies, I also worry that they could have internal organ issues like many fish experts and biologists believe they do(have pain and health issues).
Me too. I saw a picture of a filleted short body fish and their spines are really messed up (i did see it on the internet so it must be true.. right 🤷). Not sure why anyone would want to promote that kind of breading, but humans are just strange and are attracted to weird stuff.
Yes, it's a CRUELTY to be breed short bodied fish. The fish are deformed and their organs are squeezed in a small compartment. I feel pity for the short bodied fish. 😢
Those arrowanas eyes are all in good condition because they're on the floor that is the mistake people make they put them in a tank high up and the fish has to look down when it sees something out of the tank when it does it for a long time the eyes stays dropped(looking down)
What’s Lima shovel nose catfish water temperature supposed to be.? I’m ready it’s supposed to be between 75 and 81 and other pages are saying between 75 and 86 , I just want an opinion from a professional such as yourself
I worked at a place called the Pet Shanty in Jersey and I used to order all different snakeheads in the 90s. I had 2 giants that I got up to 18 to 19 pounds. They were the only fish I ever saw kill and eat a small plecos. U can still get snakeheads in Chinatown if u know the right people
short body looks re tar ded. like some ok i get it but everything is a hard pass. it needs to not take over the hobby i hope the american market doesnt like it
Exactly I don't understand the short body craze, I just don't get it. If there's no demand then maybe the breaders would get stuck with them and learn a lesson but I doubt it
Do those super round fancy goldfish count? Those hybrid parrot cichlids? I mean, we have been allowing all sorts of stuff for decades. If people buy them then people will breed and sell them. It's a shame too. I could keep wild fish for my whole life and never run out of fish that interest me. Same with normal captive bred fish. The variety out there naturally is crazy.
To hell with the whole short body craze, very few people like it to begin with and its not natural, its a mutation and the fish lives a shorter life because the internals grow to big for their body. I dont know why yall are so big on it and it needs to end. Cant believe you guys are even promoting short bodies to begin with.
Deformed fish seem a bit fucked up lol but hey awesome facility it’s not even about just the fish but the equipment environment space all that built system it looks so cool I’d love to walk around farms like this all day rather than fish shops lol some really cool fish there too but again short body should stay as a niche thing not normalize it in hobby

love your content bro but I don't advice you supporting china in anyway. There are more better fish farms in indonesia thailand singapore but china is a big no no for me.
Business doesn’t care about your politics its all about the $$. Funny how you come after the little guy trying to make a living and not say a damn thing about the million dollar companies that do the same thing export all their labor overseas. I highly doubt you don’t have a single Chinese made product in your home.
There are some really nice fish in this video. I just really don't like short body fish. Just my personal preference.
Glad u guys are back
Whats the obsession with deformed fish? Just don’t get people deliberately breeding them
I'm really glad that "shortbodies" are outlawed and banned in Europe!
I would of liked to have seen that filtration system up close. Did you guys film it?
Loved the Toman at the beginning. They get BIG!
God bless you and Kevin I needed this video and the live I was missing ya’ll 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Them Bowfins were nice. Question though why make fish short body??? How you even get short body fish from breeding fish???
Lots of inbreeding. Until they start deforming. Take those deformed ones and breed them with each other specifically. Then you get shortbodies.
5 comment awesome video rod and Kevin you rock and happy Thursday 💯👍💪💯
I need some of those tarpons for sure
when was the last time you drop another vid miss watching you guys

Why would you deliberately breed deformed fish , surely their life expectancy must be reduced
Dang

I do agree with you but there will always be a niche market for them… like everything else

Rid your house of Chinese products first before you open your mouth. Let start with THE very phone you use to type out this sentence first. GO!
@wabalaka1565 they not lying, though .
@@wabalaka1565 I did no chinese products in every corner.
To be honest with you, this is his channel so he can post what he wants and support what he wants
