Nice video, very helpful. Thank you for your time with it.
This is what metro needs elevated tram or train
Amen!
This train, unlike the much older Subway, does not serve the hotel
Should also be extended to the rental car facility. The shuttle buses currently are too slow and jam packed most of the time.
I 100% agree, I would be nice if Houston’s airports had a sky train that connects to car rentals or other transit services.
@@HOUExplorer And maybe someday METRORail, but probably not in any of our lifetimes.
It's actually the Subway that can be expanded to the RCF. The Subway is landside, but this train is airside.
The track and model is the same one Singapore uses for the Bukit Panjang LRT line.

Hello I am wondering if anyone can use this? I pick up people at the airport daily and have been using the underground subway but it's always so crowded
Hello. Underground train is the only option to pick up people because it it outside the security checkpoint; anyone can use it. The above ground train (this video) is for people who changing terminals (inside the airport; passed through security checkpoint).
Hello plz respond! I have another flight I have to catch in terminal D and I’m landing in terminal A. I have to pick up my baggage (it’s not a connecting flight meaning they won’t transfer my luggage) at Terminal A , can I still access the skyway after baggage claim to get to terminal D???
The Skyway train is only if you’re inside the terminals (after passing through security). But, outside the terminal, there is a subway that connects to all terminals: www.fly2houston.com/iah/interterminal-transportation
Follow a sign that says “Subway”, so you transfer to your terminal.
@@HOUExplorer THANK YOU!!
No problem. Here is a UA-cam clip of IAH subway (going through all terminals) looks like: ua-cam.com/video/eovdTt1YLBU/v-deo.html

Why doesnt this connect with the city tho
I wish it did...this could boost Houston tourism if an express train connects to Downtown & Uptown.
