I understand generic, but this next level must be developed and demonstrated. One can pick so many of the sequences and just perfect them. Please send my admiration and respect to this master. Watch some videos of modern China. You will see almost all of its people, young, old, male, female, out in their many public parks doing some kind of exercise. They do coordinated line dancing, very energetic shuffle dance, break dancing, and for the more elderly, they do Tai Chi and Yi Jin Jing, as well as other forms of internal breathing exercises and movements such as Ba Duan Jin. What you will not see are a lot of old people sitting semi-comatose in front of their TVs or computer screens, or see a lot of homeless people, or trash on the streets. People take pride in their personal fitness, and they go out and make sure it's not an issue. We in the West have a small segment of our population that is athletic and take care of our bodies, but these are in the far minority. Most of us are overweight, or arthritic, or have diabetes or heart disease. We have our freedoms and a wonderful form of government. But really we have a lot to learn from the East in terms of how we take care of ourselves.
@@Ironfangzu western medicine is drug pushed I like their way much better. Thank you and enjoy your day. I am a bit lost in flow now between "double punch the ears" and through all the snake creeps down , golden cockle and fair lady on the shuttle but I will get it. We are just past needle but need to figure my flow foot work out for that part. I enjoy this Tai Chi so very much. Thans again for responding !
@@SheriLynn46 By the way this is not Tai Chi but a form of internal breathing and movement exercise called Yi Jin Jing (liberally translated as The Way of Changing your Tendons". It is similar to Tai Chi in that it is not a form of wushu, meant for combat. Rather, it is a health oriented routine that will improve your health by increasing circulation, flexibility and promoting your body's own ability to self repair. If you DO have arthritis, you can do this routine daily, and within several months you should experience some improvement in your sense of well being and feel less pain. Good luck!!

His bends and twists are amazing. We Americans after 50 have starting all different kind of problems such as arthritis, hip replacement, bunch of med take every day , and mildly surgery ... etc. So sad.😭
Um so häufiger ich mich mir Qigong etc. befasse um so mehr gewinne ich den Eindruck das die Bewegungsabläufe eigendlich nur im Einklang mit Geist und Energie stehen sollen, man kann sich die Bewegungsabläufe scheinbar auch selber ertasten bzw. ausdenken und versuchen in Harmonie zu bringen (?!).
