I love that you kept the times he didn't get it perfectly.. shows it is really challenging and even the best have trouble
If he can do a handstand he was doing that as an example. To show us what it will look like at the start
Wow...Instructor's body line is amazingly beautiful...I started watchIng this video to learn hand stand but soon I found myself to appreciate his body 😂😂😂😂
"maybe we fall into a back bend. If so, no worries." Me: NOPE
I would die there. I would land on my back no questions asked.😂🤦🏽♀️ 🚨
I actually tried that and guess what.... i felt like as if i broke my leg because i dont have any flexibility in my back. :)
same thought hahaha
I cannot do a backbend i tried this and My arms legs hurt
No way. You can do it. I mean, I tried today for the first time, and I have done, and trust me, I am not strong enough. You just need a strong friend. This friend will do all the hard job. So do it. 😀
The best Handstand tutorial i have seen so far
this was so helpful! I would love more classes with Andrew!
Thanks Kat! What kind of classes would you like to see? There will for sure be more classes!
beginner acro would be awesome!
Be sure to subscribe to our UA-cam channel to be the first to hear about new videos like this :)
We can totally make AcroYoga happen!
Wow thanks so much 🙏🏻❤️
I think this is awesome, as for someone who is involved in dance and physical activity with this type of experience, it does really help me tho. I suck at handstands. But if u are someone with no physical experience or yoga this isn’t a beginner video for u
Very helpful! I struggle with my back bends however and got a little scared trying to extend my legs up from the box position. Looks like I have work to do! Thanks for the quick tutorial!
I find these VERY adequate and helpful!! Thank you so much. Im going to practice these to get shoulder and back strength. xoxoxo!
looks really helpful! but I can't even hop on up against the wall...
Pierrine Yeah, me neither...
Pierrine same here
same with me
Same
Pierrine same🤕
Thank you 💜
Love learning from other yoga teachers!
He is always great and perfect...i follow him from his instagram account too.. But here very good teacher for me:)
when i was 11 my friends were trying to making me do a handstand at school. They were laughing at me because i was scared so i tried it and then i fell at my sides hitting the grownd like a big fat patato...Everyone laughed,i was hurt and from then till now i didn't ever tried it again. BUT now at my 20s i want to try it and i hope i don't fall that bad again hahah.PRAY FOR ME PEOPLE

Really helpful :)
Subscribed your channel and of course nicely explained step by stey
*Bends at the waist and puts palms flat on the floor* "Like this!"
Yeah.. I cant do that XD
thanks! this is so helpful lol gives me lotsa help cus ur long limbed like meeeee
1:48 I tend to do that a lot.....
Nice, but for beginners? probably not to much.
great 😍
Hi Andrew the step jump up i cant jumpo im afrad
I can do a headstand but I can't do a handstand because I have weak arms and shoulder 😕
Same :'(
I think i have to train my arms first. I can't even do push-up😥🙈
i am unable to do its messing up
don't think falling into a back bend would be a wise thing to do. other than that , great tips !!!
@Dan Don I started but had to stop due to a back injury. Practicing yoga on a weekly basis now
Totally agree with you.
It’s so hard I’m 1 week practicing and still can’t 😭😭
not gonna lie, I'm scared of doing this and get myself hurt idk. first I need to overcome my fear.
Ossom I like it I want to talk with u related flexibility so Plz tell me
PLEASE don't try and fall into a back bend unless you're really flexible. back injuries are no joke. I'm speaking from my own experience....
This tutorial failed when he fell into the backhand 😧
Okay, this would be great if I could actually hop up against the wall
Me too! But practice is what makes it work.. That's what I am going to tell myself.
Exactly. I try to hop up/kick up, and I fall sideways. If I got backwards into a wall handstand, I have no idea how to get down. I did a major face plant yesterday...
Instablaster...
This is NOT for beginners. But people with good core and upper body strength already. Try finding calisthenics videos to learn how to build strength.
Well, it just depends on what you call beginners, but for fit people beginner at handstand it's fine
Also if its a beginner of yoga or a beginner of doing handstands after sometime of doing yoga
I agree I thought this was a pretty bad video. And ive watched alot of handstand videos
I think for humans legstand is enough...
Cinefocus tamil PE professors don’t think so
For flamingos, too
Lol!
Thambi, Thaliva would beg to differ :P
So I wonder why are you watching this tutorial on handstand if you think legstand is enough? 😂 Well is more than enough legstand but it's fun to challenge yourself a little
This guy is amazing
And his instructions are very helpful
But I think people who are very advanced (like him) forget a little how much other people (like me) suck
The beginning of this video was very helpful but the fall into a backbend was a seriously advanced move making this video harmful for beginners.
“maaaaaybe you fall into a backbend” I FELL AND SMACKED MY ENTIRE LEG😭😭
😂👍imagine feeling a bigger heartbeat during the fall
OMG ME TOO I THOUGHT I WAS ONLY ONE. I felt like as if i injured my knee.
I fell doing headstand without wall and bruised my knees
When I fall over I ususally land in Shavasana*ouch* Love your tutorial though!
6:11 THAT SAVE THOOO, damn
Step 1: Start arms length from the wall. Step 2: Do the rest of the handstand.
really liked your video. But how much strength in your hands do you need to maintain the position? How do I prepare my arm muscles for this move?
chaturangaaaaaa
I need more shoulder strength 😂 I tried to push myself into the wall and crashed straight into my head (with my back pushed against the wall). I think it's important to note that you need at lot of shoulder and core strength for this or you'll risk injury 😅
Yes. But your head thing made me laugh
please do a completely handstand oriented class!!
love love love
Thank you for your feedback! We'll be sure to keep that in mind for future videos :)
thank you very much. i did wrong like you said. now i know more right ways.
It was helpfull but I think we could make a bit easier for beginners!
Your balance is amazing tough👍
when he said maybe we'll fall into a back bend if so that's OK I was like nop
I'm not fit..... I'll break my back
Kayla’s Kingdom lol trust same 😂😂
I doubt I will go into the back flip rather I will hit the floor like a bag of rice
So glad you guys are on here now. I've been following you on Instagram!
This IS for beginners but who are in good shape. Thank you very much!! I was looking for a video like that!
Your definition of a beginner may be different from mine ;)
I had tried 3 tip but...somewhat iam not confident about .. what if, I fall and something will happen..all these comes to my mind...so is it ok to do it alone ...plz clarify ...and Thank you..Love from INDIA ❤️@UNITY IN DIVERSITY@
That thing is so difficult... he makes it seems so soothing... love it...
I clicked on the video and about 6 seconds later my eyebrows raised and my mouth made an "o" shape and I said "...WHEW" lol
3 tips for beginners then he goes "maybe we fall into a back bend"... Yeah maybe i'll just fall hard on my back for now. Nice video though.
I have a little bit language, ì not i'll buy your video how teach yoga. I am really like hơ to teach, your voice. So nice. Thank so much Mr Andrew.
I don’t think step three is for beginners; if you have no back flexibility, you could really hurt yourself 😩. (I’m not even sure if part one or two is for beginners either? )
My major disability in doing this is a tight shoulder. Therefore I cant do a back bridge and find handstand box very painful.
Gosh I am fucking frighten to put my legs to the wall I am frighten I fall over or I am to weak to keep up particularly I am like a coward , any tips ?😏
Bbbbeeeegggiiiiinnnnneerrrrsss?!
Hey, mister. I think are assuming a lot lot lot lot lot lot lot of in between steps.
@2:26... not for beginners..it is for someone who already can do headstand of improvement honestly...
Here's one that's bit better:
ua-cam.com/video/KNC5lkoE2Fs/v-deo.html
This dude is a calisthenics god, and unbelievably shredded
Me before this: I can do it!
Him: *does the handstand*
Me: *trying to get on the wall doing a handstand*
Me after the video : this is impossible!
This is a great starting point for me. I had no idea about hand positions, shoulder alignment, etc... I loved this and it is inspiring me endeavor a handstand again after 40+ years! The free trial link is inactive!
So...
first step:
Trow away my shirt
Thanks for the tutorial love and respect from INDIA🙏
Word's best tutorial of handstnd with technical steps.very helpful.thanks.
superb...!! I found that what mistake I was doing... thanks a lott Andrew..
This is not for beginners. People already have to be in shape and have great core and hand/arm strength to do this.
👋 new to handstands. Why is it important to do the second handstand facing away from the wall?
I always land on a backbend so Im closer to a front walkover than a handstand 😹
This was very helpful! but about the third one. I'm not the point where I can easily just fall into a backbend. Any tips?
@JosephineKennedyvlogs its actually very important too find a good way of faling out of a handstand that suits you, just incase.becuase everyone falls when they are learning. you can try keeping the arms planted on the floor and twisting your body round to one side until your feet land. or bending one arm to a side roll. Practice them on a soft space until you have a comfortable bail. im sure if you search for a tutorial of how to safely fall out of handstand you'll find something helpful :) its about finding whats right for you
so nice! thank you Andrew and Alo Yoga
I need a beginner beginner video . I cant hop up to the wall..
the fact that i cant even stand still myself makes me think how on earth will i do a handstand
Being indian I love when foreigners say namaste😍😍
Oh my goodness!! You helped so much!! My handstands already feel better!
Thanks for new tips.
What do i dont i can not even get my feet up against the wall.....
He fell into a perfect backbend
that's nice but totally not for beginners. Advanced at best. the guy is cool but changing the label wouldn't go amiss.
I’ve lost the ability to hop up! Any tips.
You need to learn the exit handstand to if your falling
I have week hip muscles .who I can power it
Best handstand tutorial I've seen. Thank you!
Can you do another video as we begginers are like very very very very very very very very very very very very hard to kick up to a wall please to another video

The teachers on this site are the best I’ve seen.
I don't think this is for beginners 😕😕😕
CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW CHISELED HE IS???
That's not a beginner guide my guy
Thank you for this helpful video. But why are you not looking at the ground while trying step 2 and 3?
Hmmmm not easy for first time 😭😭😭😭😭
Well I'm to heavy for one 😩😂
That scream when yout felt down 😂😂
