    Digging ditch with a v-bucket with a foot of ripped frost. Throw your frost back away from the ditch to leave room for good material to shade with. No wasted movements, just straight balking dirt. Making long grade passes as I track back to the next set.

      A bit of a dog leg in there, can only dig as straight as the frost was ripped in the winter

      No, it isn’t easy. I usually use the pipe as my guide, keeping my tracks 3 feet away from it. That is as long as the pipe is straight.

      I walk a little forward on my final grade pass. I find it keeps my ditch bottom way more consistent. I also never bring my stick inside of 90 degrees which is where the power is and it also reduces the amount you need to swing digging way away from your tracks
