Hi, I followed the old tutorial, just to get back into new ( mixer fixed version) just last week.

You need the domainbox to be selected if you are going to change fluid simulation speed. For rigid bodies it’s another panel.
You didn't mention the most important part. What is the simulation and bake time? and what CPU was used for simulation?
I don’t remember how long baking took. Using an i9 -12900

The animated option isn't working, the ridgit body does not complete the rest of the animation
