I inherited my late Father's M&P 340. Shooting it with full power .357 Mag sucks. I've never experienced the sensation of having the insides of my hands slapped with a steel rule before, but I assume that it is a similar feeling. It does conceal very nicely but otherwise, I don't know what he was thinking when he bought it.

That Smith & Wesson .460 was awesome. Any magnum that lets off a fireball like that definitely alters the chemical balance of our natural science.
Plus, it would be so amazing to have a personal firing range at home or close by. Living in New York is tough, and we're banned from so many firearms and accessories, especially automatics and suppressors. It's a dream of mine to move down south, gather a collection of firearms and accessories, and shoot all day long. Perhaps one day...
I'm a big fan of Kentucky Ballistics, Demolition Ranch, and 1ShotTV, and all of you guys have given me so much motivation to make this dream of mine come true.

45-70 is weaker than 500 magnum in revolver length barrels. Most of the gun power is wasted. It never burns up so the 45-70 never reaches its maximum case volume velocity. Need a rifle length barrel for 45-70. It's stupid and pointless in a revolver.
500 magnum was purpose built for revolver length barrels.

I own both the 500 and the 45-70. I live in Alaska and I would trust the ballistics of the 500 for big bear with a revolver over the 45-70. The 500 with a 3 inch barrel is a pistol load and leaves the barrel must faster and with more foot pounds making it a more effective round. Ask the grizzly I put down with 2 rounds. The 45-70 is a rifle round and needs at least a 12 in barrel to get up to enough pressure to be as powerful. I also found the 500 is more accurate at 15 to 20 yards

I'm a Norwegian currently vacationing in the US, and I think I tried that exact same .357 you shot in the video, about a week ago. Kicked pretty good for a .357. Also shot a .44 Desert Eagle, amongst many other guns. Unfortunately they did not have neither the .50AE, a .500 S&W nor a .50BMG. But I loved shooting the .44 Deagle. Gonna buy my own within the year.
Great video; added it to my favourites.

I was at Home Depot, and I was looking at all of the things that you could shoot to see if they stop bullets, and I cam across a lot of cool things. You may have already done some of these, but here are a few things, Plastic tables, plastic chairs, cement bags, Doors, Saw blades, Metal roofing, plywood, shingles, carpet, drywall, and maybe some bricks. I hope you see this! I love all of your videos.

There's this game, Killing Floor 2, where it's a zombie wave survival shooter. In it, there's a class that specializes in dual-wielding handguns and one of the guns you can dual-wield are a pair of .500 magnums. My buddies and I always joke that your guy's wrists would be gravel after a round or two of that.

Shooting an ultralight .357 is like hitting a metal pole with an aluminum baseball bat. The vibrations are brutal. My buddy has that .454 Alaskan and most factory loads are .44 mag equivalent, which isn't bad. But the full power .454s are brutal. To me, the .460 is the most impressive round, but I want that 3" 629 .44!
