would never guess these gues are swedes though but man - great rock and roll outfit - solid bass work and then that synth- with a legit dirtbag front man
I love the sound of this too but I also wish (and I’m saying this as a listener not sound engineer) that they turned the sax up a bit more. Usually you hear it more in their other live recordings. But still overall, great sound especially bass
I've just turned 60. I say that like its a Badge of Survival, cos it fucking is. I grew up in England, gigging every week from the late 70s until I left the country in 1990... punk, ska, new wave, metal, alternative, swerving hard into acid house in '87, then rave. I left because I could see what was happening to my life with drugs and alcohol and the rest as the lifestyle became normalised. It wasn't gonna end well. Music is still the only constant in my life, but the horror show of the last 10-15 years has cast a huge pall of despair. The auto-tuned lipped-synced dirge the kids listen to now on their damn phones makes me deeply sad. This band - THIS BAND - are a fucking revelation for me. This band. Shit, I don't even know what to say. My one & only experience of them live was deeply moving and a seminal live experience after many years of wondering if it was really all over. They've survived tragic line up changes and more and yet here we are. The Viagra Boys. The Viagra Boys. Thank you.
Being in middle age, I’m probably not their target audience, but damn if I don’t feel 20 years younger when I listen to them. My favorite new band in a long, long time.
Mine too. Like one band from Serbia 2014... and then BUM Viagra Boys ❤ My friend ask me: Do you want to see make version of you? ... well, I am then very sexy. And "crazy". 😜😈
