I've two Billingham Camera bags: my EDC ist the Hadley Pro and it holds my M240 and M-P240, a Summilux 50, an Elmar-M 3.8/24 and a Summarit 2.5/90 plus a lot of gear like a Cokin filter set, a small reflector, filters, personal documents, notebook, pens - I must be crazy. Number two is the Hadley Digital Camera Bag and comes with me, when all the gear not is needed. There's space for three lenses and the M-P240, plus some filters and my notebook. I love the Burgundy Red colour! Makes me look a more tourist than a press photographer. Just signed up your channel. Keep on rolling.
Oberwerth Boulevard Mini Leather Bag. It is very lightweight and small, but big enough to hold a Q camera or M camera with lens. (but I don't think it is available anymore) www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1471513-REG/oberwerth_bv_m_ld_3613_boulevard_mini_photo_bag.html
Oberwerth now makes a Louis M11 Visoflex leather case that allows you to keep the Visoflex 2 EVF on the camera. While this version of the case is still compact, it has enough room to also hold 2 to 6 M lenses (depending on their size). Pens can be placed on the sides of the Louis M11 Visoflex case.
I haven’t yet committed to purchasing a Visoflex for my M11. Maybe I will in the future, but I just don’t like how it changes the profile of my camera. For now I just use the rangefinder, and then the back screen if I need Live View.
I've got a M11 and a 50mm Noctilux 0.95 so obviously one of the largest lenses Leica sell but haven't commited to a suitable bag yet to house them. I'd like to something to fit the camera whilst the lens is on if possible but maybe enough space for just 1 more lens and spare battery. Essentially want to travel light but ensure it's protected. I'm using the Oberwerth classic case and the matching strap (which is lovely!) so these add a bit of bulk to account for also but do you have any suggestions on a suitable bag? I think the Q bag you showed in this video might work out nicely but want to be sure before laying out the cash for one. Any insight would be very much appreciated
I would think carefully before getting the Q Bag. The internal dimensions are much smaller than the Louis M11 due to the extra padding. The Q bag might fit your M11 + Noctilux, but probably no extra room for anything else. With the Louis M11, you would have extra room inside, and it is not much externally larger and weighs about the same. I think the Q bag is best suited for a Q camera or an M camera with a medium size lens. (I now have an Oberwerth leather half-case for my M11. Very nice!)
I also have an M11 with 50 Noctilux 0.95 and have been researching different Oberwerth bags, given their great construction and stunning leather. I also carry a 35 APO lens with me, and sometimes a Visoflex2 or a small Leica tabletop tripod. All of these items fit perfectly in the Billingham Hadley Pro Small and it seems to be the bag that I reach for most often. I respect SC's report on the Billingham, but I found it super comfortable because it molds around you. The front pockets are handy, the protection padding fabulous, the top handle a plus, and best of all it's fully waterproof. I have an Oberwerth Kate that fits all of this perfectly, but that's a larger tote style bag aimed at women. The Ona Prince Street and Bond Street work nicely, too -- great padding and leather, but much heavier over time. Im looking for a bag that fits just the M11 with either the Noctilux or 35 APO for when I don’t want a bigger bag. I've considered the Charlie and George by Oberwerth, but would welcome any suggestions from anyone out there. Thanks!
@@sc1 Camera bags can roll and land upside down on the floor if placed near chair/table edges. That's why Oberwerth Freiburg has an upper padding on its inner pouch.

Hi, thanks for your video. But what’s the name of the little bag for just the camera with the lens on?

I wish there was smaller Sling bag from Oberwerth. It comes in SL version which is obviously an overkill for 3 lens kit similar to yours.
Thanks for this review.

The external EVF certainly doesn’t look elegant.
Damn. That sucks about the smell. Thanks for the quick look at the smaller Q bag. I'll pick one of those up.
the smell is gradually getting better, but still a little noticeable

@@sc1 Thanks for the insight, very useful! I'll take a look at the Louis based on your recommendation. Thanks again for the swift response

could you link the amazon leather case you mentioned?

Is the upper flap too thin to absorb impact?
the upper flap is thin, no padding. but I don't get impacts from the top.

What happened to the elmarit?
Sold it. The 35 summilux will take over for it.
The 35 Lux is a great lens.
@@johnkasianowicz6536 35 lux is much sharper than the elmarit. But? Not a ‘character lens’
