Watching this vid with my new zs10 pros, and i gotta say rob hit the nail right on the head. Give em your money! They isolate pretty well and the lows absolutely sing man. For the price point you get a really good crafted iem that sounds great.
I can vouch for the cable! Completely changed the sound of my ZSTs! I can now play my electric drums through them without distortion! Definitely better bass👍🏼
Know I am kinda late hahaha… but I am searching for inears for edrumming and I am wondering if they are still WORTH IT!! And if throughout your experience with them think there not good where else should I look?

Dude: Great video. Nice to finally see a musician reviewing earbuds. Just bought it. Is there a place to get an upgraded cable with a mic? Also what tips would you recomments?
I’m still somewhat new to drumming, and trying to expand out my comfort zone and try to perform with others mainly at church. Because of this video I actually went ahead and got these IEM and the cord recommended. And was surprised not only how clear it was but how much it also cancels out the noise around me. I’m gonna keep using these to practice and eventually play/perform with. Thanks for this info. And the many other videos on your channel.

ZS10 Pro are stunning I usually use my Sony WF-1000XM3 with my hi res MP3 dac but these ZS10 Pro so just as good really they sound that good with a little more warmth and base.

Thank you Rob for this video. I’m definitely going to get these ears man. I have the shure se215 for about three years and they just sound blown, it’s just the right ear. I’ll have to get them soon as I will be auditioning to be a drummer at our new church we attend. My wife said I should use duck tape to fix them. 😒
I own a pair of KZ ZST's and they don't isolate enough for me. I'm playing live and I still hear A LOT of my drumset :( I upgraded to memory foam tips but still no improve
Yeah, just got the KZ ZS10 Pro's and they're slap your momma good! Good news is it seems the cable that comes with them now are better quality and don't tangle up so much. Downside is I need a little bit longer reach than the 4 foot provided. Is there any compatible higher quality cables around the 6ft range or even an extension you can recommend?
Great video, I'm thinking of buying a pair of these. A question about the upgrade cable - do I need to get the Btype pin, C type pin or the MMCX pin? And does it come with a 3.5mm to 1/4 jack converter?
Count me in as another fan. Just got mine. This is a true pro IEM. I had the previous high end KZ which sounded fantastic for playback......but were not a pro IEM. Non standard sound tube, so you couldn't choose aftermarket ear tips. Would not stay in place while playing with factory tips. Cable that got easily tangled and had a flimsy connector. And too much bass for monitor use. The new pro version fixes all the issues. An insane bargain. I think mine were a bit less than $60. Another great tip from Rob.

I just purchased the TRN v80s based on your review in another video. They’re great!!!. It’s my first time using iems . With that said , I’m a bass player and I’m all about very low and heavy ends . Which IEMs would you recommend for the most low end bass? Also, which would be good to hear music that has a lot of sub bass? For example like Dub/rap....?

What are the best ear tips for these? Drumming isolation/sound quality/bass punch/general music listening?
Got mine in and they actually do sound better than my westone um 50 pro’s. I ordered the upgraded cable that Rob has. Not the one the link takes you to. And it does make a difference in the sound. I noticed right away that I could EQ my drums the way I wanted. With the westone’s I could never really hear my kick drum. With these I can hear it loud and clear. After I set the EQ with the KZ’s I plugged the Westone’s back in and they distorted and sounded really bad. I haven’t used them with my band yet. I could’ve bought 5 pair of these for what I paid for my Westone’s. Thanks for the help Rob!!!!
John Dela Cruz I’m not kidding at all. Awesome info from Rob on these. I have used them with my band since I last reviewed these. They are amazing!! My singer used to have custom molds and he liked the KZ’s better also.

I just bought the Trn v 80's there great and fit great' I also bought the ZS 10 pros I like them both, but I found for my head the zs 10 pro ' more comfy sound great I use the ZS 10 as my main and the TRN V 80 as my back up on the road, you can't go wrong , if your worried,,,,, don't be , you'll love then....... love the channel BEAT DOWN 😁 I'm assuming you SHIP your T-shirts to the USA 🇺🇸 .... ?

You should review the KZ ZST PRO and compare it to the non pro version.
They serve to play live in concert with a metronome? Do they isolate enough?
I have the KZ ZSN Pros, even tho its a step down from the 10s they still sound amazing.

OK...late to the party here on this review, but I dig your videos Beatdown🤘but man oh man, Kinboofi must have paid you a nice chunk of change to hock those upgrade IEM cables for the KZ ZS10 Pros. Those things are JUNK!! The thin flimsy cable that comes with the ZS10 sound far superior...and they fit around the ear better, too. For a $29 cable I expected A LOT more.

It would be nice if you review CCA iems like the c10 or the c16, they are supposed to have the same BA than KZ but better tuned, so a more flat frequency response

I almost bought my first ones IEM, KZ ZSN PRO X and I had no experience with similar headphones before them, I was thrilled to hear them for the first time but also irritated my ears with too loud sound and aggressive high frequencies, but I soon got used to it. I am a musician and I create and playing music, so I have experience with many monitors speakers and headphones of larger format such as AKG K712 PRO, so I generally liked the sound ZSN PRO X. Now it came to me by Friday that I can buy very cheap CCA C12, CCA C10 PRO and KZ ZS10 PRO, and since I don't plan to change those headphones later, I'm interested in which ones are of the highest quality and is there a clear difference between them and mine ZSN PRO X which I already own? I listened to a lot of videos about them and read a lot of reviews
and I can say that I am more confused than at the very beginning. Please help me. thanks in advance

Hi, I bought these IEMs and I’m fairly happy with them when using for tracking or listening to music with my acoustic kit. I recently got a Roland TD27 E kit and these sound awful coming from the module. Clipping and no frequency range. Any ideas why this could be? Any advice would be appreciated. Love your vids man, keep them coming!
these are very easy to drive. i bet you are overdriving them ..

I'm not too familiar with in-ear monitors, do these block out sound while playing drums? Right now I'm using cheap wireless earbuds and I put earmuffs over them to lower the db of my drums. Will these alone lower the volume of my drumming so I won't need the earmuffs?

How do these compare to MEE M7 Pro? That’s what I use (with custom molds) and the MEEs get a little cluttered.

The standard KZ cable is not very good, I totally recommend an upgrade. How did the soundblocking work for drumming? I find that without some custom sleeves they don't block enough for me and my ears take a beating by the end of a set.

just got one with upgraded cable today. i dont know if it is my taste or i have a defective product. i feel the base drum is not noticable enough comparing with my m40x headphpne, especially when listening to metal music😢

Is the 8 core cable longer than the original one?
Hello Rob im guitarist and I use a lot the headphone out of the L6 Helix to forge my sound and I’m kinda very sensitive ears guy to any little nuance !! And I got 3 different great headphones (2 closed back by Audiotechnica and a semi open back by AKG) and I use most of the time the ATM40x to achieve my sounds !
Now my request if you don’t matter .. how would sound the KZ in comparison with the ATM40x ?! If you ever have been using those (I supposed, cause they are very popular) or if you can grab a pair and put your opinion about that.. cause I trust your ears, after what I’ve heard from you !! My main request is about how colourful they could be, If I switch to them from the AT to work my sounds ... I’m looking for a pair of in ear-monitors that sound close to how the AT reproduce timbres !! cause I won’t staring over all my already forged sounds ...Thanks.
I just got these zs10 pros hands down best headphones I've owned better sound then my beats fit pros
The one problem I have is all these upgraded cables dont come with a Mic, which makes them practically useless to me as I use my earphones may 90% with my phone.
how do they compare to the simgot em2? i know they're different prices but does spending a little extra have a big difference in sound quality?
There’s a little less bass presence in the EM2s but nothing you can’t dial in on the EQ in two seconds. And the ZS10 Pro has more headroom. Other than that, unless you have super sensitive ears you might not hear enough of a difference to up-sell you. I love the EM2s because of the fit. The smaller earpiece is very comfortable

ZS10 Pro Vs AS10 VS ZS7?
Should I purchase some adapters for these so they can fit into all different mixers, devices, etc? Im looking into my first purchase of in ears and I'm just a bit unsure
You’ll definitely need a mini-to-1/4” adapter or adapter cable for most professional stage monitor systems, like Aviom for instance. Just keep a few around and handy cuz those things disappear like drum keys

I got my AS16. Loving them too.
For what he is going to use it for, I don't think it suits him. Bass on ZS10 pro is better thab AS16
@@DibIrken After comparing them yesterday, I agree. The zs10 pro is way better. The as16s are super clear though. I much prefer the zs10 pro for drums though.

Yes! Any IEM’s can be used for that. I use my custom MEE Audio IEM’s for listening to music every day.
I have been rocking the TRN's since that review. How do these compare? My last set of KZ AS10's, right ear crapped out.
Todd Reiman It’s everything you love about the V80s plus about 20%. You’ll get a better fit with these, too. I hated that original ZS10 casing. I found them a bit uncomfortable

Would somebody please let me know how good they are at isolating? I will be using these for practice mostly, and the room is loud, and the Vic Firth headphones I use don't block out enough of the loud sound of my drums. Can anyone help me please? Many thanks.

This is my first pair of ears and I unfortunately have the problem that they don’t isolate me from outside noise enough even after trying all tip sizes
I notice a bit of static when using my ZS10s, does the cable fix this?
Also, with my stock cable, the coiled part of the cable is always too loose and falls out of being tucked behind my ear. Does this cable help this?

Martin what are you using to drive them? Almost certainly the noise you’re hearing is from the sound source and not the IEMs themselves.
