As a pretty hardcore classical liberal minarchist, I think wealfare should only, and ONLY be available to those who are unable to work due to physical and mental conditions. Otherwise, you get nothing

@@VanNessy97 Alright, let's start off with a physical disability, say for example... some form of disability that prevents you from walking. Obviously this would be on a case by case basis to some degree, but this should apply to most all of these Individuals. So while being unable to walk disqualifys them from most physical labor jobs, they're generally functional with the upper half of their bodies. There's a great many jobs that are mainly focused on working with your hands. A lot of jobs are exclusively computer/paper work. Accounting, HR, computer programing, Secretary work...Teaching is another great option. You could get a job as radio operator for trucking companies or planes... get a degree as a lawyer or a judge... there's plenty of options. Mental disabilities are a little more complicated. As different people are affected to different degrees. Someone with mild autism can lead a healthy, independent life. For more extreme cases... well you'll have to give me a more specific example. Because like I said, case by case basis.

@@hookedblades6471 I grew up going to school with a kid (I remember his name, but I'm not going to say it for privacy reasons) who could barely speak or walk. He mostly communicated by screaming and making noises while his caretaker wheeled him around in a wheelchair, bathing him and dressing him and feeding him through a tube in his stomach. Poor kid had epilepsy, too. I remember being afraid to interact with him, but I had sense enough to know that he required a lot more support than I did.
Is that specific enough for you?

That libertarian comment is so true! I'm a leftist, but I have plenty of friends and family who are conservative (though fortunately none of them like Trump). We get along fine. But all the libertarians I've talked to, it's like they live in another universe where the basic laws of reality are bass-ackwards.
