This a step by step video of how to change the oil in your Kubota BX. ~-~~-~~~-~~-~ Please watch: "Kubota BX Grading and Filling Hole" • Kubota BX Grading and ... ~-~~-~~~-~~-~
I knew there was a reason why I watch some of your videos, even If I know how to do whatever your doing. Sometimes I see neat tips or things I didn't know about . Never knew about or heard of a flexifunnel! That's cool. I guess that's how the dealers and shops keep oil off everything when you pull these filters, so it doesn't run all over the engine or in the case of the toyota I drive all in that front cross member or radiator support that the oil always flows all in. That's cool. Thanks, for whatever reason I never even thought of cardboard, but I don't put much thought into it. I just change oil and let it sit in the gravel overnight before I pull into the carport. -Clemsonfor
Thanks man!! The form a funnel works pretty good. It comes in 3 sizes and this one is the medium. It also works good on draining a radiator. If you take a car to a dealer for an oil change the put it on a lift and they can wipe things off and spray it down with brake cleaner. Then driving it home blows things off. Now I know who you are. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
94BULLITT I forget that my youtube name isnt the same. I was thinking for some reason you did, and then i was thinking i need to put my screenname so he knows who i am. Ha
WHERE can I get that oil filter removal tool you are using? What size is it? Please tell me. I've been to a dozen auto and tractor places. I've not found the right size yet
Nice job!!! Will be helpful if I end up getting a BX but I do like the L2301 as well might do the L series instead and price wasn't that much more. Take care
I wish I would have bought a set a long time ago. I got the biggest set that Snap on, well Blue Point has. Different brand filters for the same application sometimes take a different wrench. They are a life saver especially in a tight place or if a quick lube has over tightened a filter.
Thanks! I have a video on servicing the hydro. I just need to edit and upload it. I was saving it for a rainy day. Are you going to be servicing your hydro soon?
Great step by step video, the “form a funnel” is a great tip. Thanks ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good job Sir. We are never to old to learn something new. Thank you. Be safe and God bless you and your family!!!!!
Thanks, I always to try give tips for those that are new or for someone that has been doing it for years.
Enjoy all your videos, thanks. Was thinking of changing the oil on my BX24 soon. Hadn't heard of a form a funnel, that's pretty cool.
Thanks. The form a funnel comes in 3 sizes. Mine is the medium size. I think it was $10 on amazon.

The only time you will regret a larger tractor is when you pay for it.
Lol!! I'm sure
I never cared for those filter wrenches, but after this I do. LOL

Very informative. Could you do a video on how to change the hydraulic fluid and filter. Thanks

94BULLITT Yes Sir. I have a BX1860. Changed the oil but never hydro oil. Thanks

Do happen to know what size oil filter socket you used?
I have a Wix filter on it and it takes a different size than a kubota filter but I'll look tomorrow. I think it is best to stick with a kubota filter.
blue point ofc65-14, 65mm, and 14 flutes fits a wix filter
Thanks for the info
