Wow, this video is absolutely mesmerizing! Watching the John Deere X9 1100 Combines in action is like witnessing the peak of agricultural innovation. The precision, the sheer power, and those 24-row corn heads cutting through the field-it’s a perfect symphony of efficiency and technology. John Deere machines are truly in a league of their own, making farming both impressive and inspiring. This harvest scene, with the wind turbines in the background, feels like the future of farming in full force! Can’t get enough of seeing these green giants at work! 🚜🌽💚
I tell you what, that field is turning out some kind of corn. Looks like they need more trucks hauling away from the field. Great video Mike. I like how clean the field looks after the combines run over it no raggedy stalks sticking up everything is mowed down nice and neat
Great video of the Indiana corn harvesting. I'm a Big fan of those JD X9's that just devour corn. The bushels per acre seemed to be very high! Definitely a lot of acreage out West. Thanks again Mike for sharing another great video! Cheers from the 1st state of Delaware.
The corn harvesters resemble mighty athletes, relentlessly powering through their work without a hint of exhaustion. The entire cornfield feels alive, like a vast, thrilling worksite buzzing with excitement and energy, as if every part of it is bursting with life and purpose.
My neighbor runs three X9's on corn. He has 16,000 acres of corn I heard. He has 20 semis moving the corn. 10 to the bins & 10 hauling dry corn to town. A pretty impressive sight to see all those machines in the same field. It looks to me like they need at least one more cart & a few more semis to keep the combines running.
Another impressive video from you Mike and thanks for it. More trucks would have helped to smooth out the flow. Wide span machinery like those 24 row cornheads switches me on as I'm sure that it does the same for others.
That's a heckuva operation they could use another semi and hopper to keep everything going without stopping very impressive from when I started on the farm with a no cab corn sheller to helping a buddy doing 8 rows at a time.
From an Engineering perspective I think this is as big as you can go in heads, the combine would be massive to handle more as the storage becomes and issue, also the discharge auger would have to be twice the diameter as you can only move product through the auger so fast. This business definitely needs a third cart. You can see from the drone footage that the discharge is already an issue. Its a long way from 2 row to 24 row. These are monsters.
Surprised how much green is present...can't remember combining that green...drying costs would break us up here...great looking property though, so flat...got nothing but rolling hills and creeks here and heavy clay...thanks for the vid!!!
Great video Mike! I’ll bet the combines get traded every year because they’ll probably have millions of bushels through them. Quite an impressive lineup of equipment, I’m guessing 10 million wouldn’t buy it all!
In the United States, it’s fairly common for large farms to have grain drying facilities. This allows them to be much more flexible with harvesting schedules.
They kept everything moving while I was here. Other than that one part of the video where they came to the end and everything was full. They fueled up the combines and were back at it 10 minutes later.
Those two 2500 bu / 70 ton grain carts when full are packing down a lot of hard ground, probably more so than if the semis were running along side the combines at about half the weight of the carts. With a third of a load left in the cart going back to the combine for a dump does not make sense. As well, less grain augering would mean less fines in the corn.
For all the goofers, green corn doesn’t mean wet. Where have you guys been? Keep the plants healthy till the end. Better yield and test weight. At least 260 bushel. It ain’t the 80’s boys.

Awesome green machines eating corn
That’s some serious harvesting power! The Crossroad Farms crew really knows how to run a smooth operation. Big respect for the hard work! 💪🌾
Lots of action! Really enjoyed.
This is probably the best corn harvest video I have seen amazing job
It was amazing to see modern machinery harvesting corn quickly and easily.
I tell you what, that field is turning out some kind of corn. Looks like they need more trucks hauling away from the field. Great video Mike. I like how clean the field looks after the combines run over it no raggedy stalks sticking up everything is mowed down nice and neat

Great video. Looks like they could use a few more trucks.
Impressive operation. Nice video
Those are impressive corn heads 24 row and fold up quite a setup.
Awesome video as always Mike
Looks to me like they could use one more big grain cart (that is a nice problem to have) great corn crop ! Thanks Mike !
I LOVE CROSSROAD FARMS THERE GOT SOME NICE BIG FIELDS AND NICE COMBINES AND LOVE THERE WHEAT HARVEST AS WELL
Those grain cart boys have to keep hopping! No bathroom breaks! I thought we were going to see your drone knocked out of the sky by a windmill!
It so amazing
Another impressive video from you Mike and thanks for it.

Fantastic views of the work they do.
Very nice harvest video from crossroad farms😄👍 with the wind turbines in the background it feels just like home for me👍😁

Salamat
Great video Mike 👍👍🌽🌽. We’ve been rolling on corn also, got about 3-1/2 fields left and corn 2024 will be done for us.
Those combines are eating through the corn!
Always the best videos! Thank you.

If I were them id probably run 3 1100 grain carts and add 2-3 semis to try and keep things moving

Дивлюся різних блогерів,які знімають відео про збір врожаю,але Майк самий крутий.Лайк під кожним відео!
I like Mike less video on UA-cam from the imperial county ca 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🇺🇲
Salamatsalamat thik you
Excellent Mike!
Can you get a picture of grain cart unloading into semi grain flow close up?
Wow😊
8:46 I chanted 'Capcorn, capcorn...' just before the graincart swooped in to the rescue😂😂😂😂
Great video Mike! I’ll bet the combines get traded every year because they’ll probably have millions of bushels through them. Quite an impressive lineup of equipment, I’m guessing 10 million wouldn’t buy it all!
❤wow nic
This video is good, but I'd love to see more examples in future videos
I'd love to see less of your horrible clickbait videos.
I love damn good old john derre❤
Yes, Deere has come a long way from the 45 with a two row head.
Fergieman
❤wow
Hugh 🌽 corn cart
Great video Mike 👍👍👍 those 24 row headers really eat up the corn! I love your videos !
Corn prices 1976 $4.50 bushel corn prices 2024 $4.50?
They must farm quite a few acres to have 2 of the shelling and 2 grain carts and i bet 5 or 6 semis hauling
Awesome setup! Those stocks the corn head leaves look as though could be hard on tires. But I would love to be an operator on that farm.
Wow❤ 1:12 funny
Wow 24 row and I thought 16 were big.
These are 24 row 20 inch heads. They are 40 foot just like a 16 row 30 inch head.

They need two more grain carts running.
Good video.
И ещё, отдельное спасибо за съёмку с дрона. Стыдно писать, но вид зерна поступающего в бункер или в трактор "помогайку", меня гипнотизирует. Спасибо.
that corn looks so green yet what's the moister content
I wonder what the moisture content of that corn was. Those plant don't look particularly ripe. Great Video with nice drone shots.
In the United States, it’s fairly common for large farms to have grain drying facilities. This allows them to be much more flexible with harvesting schedules.
In this in Benton County,Indiana near Fowler?I am not sure West Lebanon has any of those tall wind turbines in the field.
Wow amazing. What’s the capacity of th8se grain cart (in tons if you have it 😅).
Corn looks awfully green, they must be sending straight to the dryer.
That is one big operation. How big are the grain carts ?
2500 bushels
They need to add another 3-4 tractor trailer units
Evidently they need a few more and larger trucks to haul the harvest to storage ,
Logistics!!! I wonder what percent of the time those combines are sitting waiting on trucks and grain carts??
They kept everything moving while I was here. Other than that one part of the video where they came to the end and everything was full. They fueled up the combines and were back at it 10 minutes later.
@@farmhandmike Wow. Amazing.
@@farmhandmike how many trucks do you think they were using?
The question I have are you a farmer or just go around recording farmers?
that corn looks to green
@5:30 thats as close as you wanna get it before cab corn
do you ever get to southern minnesota
Did they sell the x9 1000
Why would you not have enough trucks to keep up with the machines?
how many acres did they do
Today is finish?
Was that a rat or a groundhog that ran out at 21:46?
There were actually two, probably rabbits
Are you guys hired a full-time job. I wouldn't working for you. Scott is a hard working person ever quit a job until he is done with is worked
I run a similar setup...
In Farm Sim 22.
Are those Mexican farms???
Those two 2500 bu / 70 ton grain carts when full are packing down a lot of hard ground, probably more so than if the semis were running along side the combines at about half the weight of the carts. With a third of a load left in the cart going back to the combine for a dump does not make sense.

These crazy suckers better get over at least 8000 acres.
We run 4200 with one x9 1000 without a sweat.
I love to be a farmer
How many bushels per acre
Good video
