There is a little trick as well for all classes if you need to get back to a beginning of a Instance or Raid. If you don't have a Hearthstone in your Backpack and use the Charakter Stuck! feature in your Help menu, you will commit suicide. In most Raids and Dungeons this will bring you back to the beginning.
Dude the quality of your transitions has drastically improved! Every tip is seamlessly executed and engaging. Madseason is not only your name but an amazing song, and you're easily becoming one of my favorite WoW video makers. Keep up the great work dude! Also I cannot for the life of me place your accent. I wanna say Midwest like, Ohio or Michigan. Where you from man?
MadSeasonShow you usually sound serious in your videos, and watching this video, hearing you laughing is on another level haha. Still great video likewise :)
You can que up for a pandaria scenario i believe before entering any instance. Then when you are done with the run, you teleport to the scenario, and teleport out, and you will be at the start of the dungeon :)
I usually watch videos while I play while I'm home alone. I was watching this, and as a 13-years WoW player I just learned about item restoration from this video while half-ass listening it. I accidentally sold a 100k flip and didn't realize what I did two days ago, and just restored it thanks to you
I must say that I love these videos because they are entertaining yet relaxing. You have a really smooth voice. Also the background music was great because I could play some of them.
The first of your videos I saw was actually the WoD leveling guide, with the set paths and elixirs, love your channel ever since. Keep up the good work.
Handy tip: The draenor 20% xp potion actually works past lvl 100, as long as you use the potion before you hit 100. e.g. at lvl 99.99, you use the potion to give you 1 hour, then kill something, level to 100, and you'll still be getting the +20% xp, as you still have the buff. It's the potion that has the lvl requirement, not the actual buff. I got from 100-101 collecting treasures in Nagrand that way (then used a BoE legendary to start legion levelling with a massive power boost).
Just wanted to say, when I first started watching these videos I thought "man this guys voice is lame it sounds like he's falling asleep lmao" but now im listening to these videos while leveling and man its great, your voice is consistent and not crazy sounding haha makes it easy to play and listen at the same time :D
Hello MadSeason - honnestly, I started to appreciate your videos for they were precise, made by a cool guy with smooth voice just fit to tell the story of famous & infamous players, narrate old vanilla stories and so on. But I confess that, though these qualities still remain, I now like it even more for your sense of humour. Thanks anyway, keep it up.
5:00 I don't know if this is an exploit but something i discovered when leveling an alt is that the potion doesn't instantly disappear when you hit 100 so if you use it right before leveling up you can still have it and gain bonus xp past 100 and if you log out the potion timer doesn't tick down, so you can really cheese it with the bonus objectives + invasions.
9:51 The easiest way to get cooking up is to go to Halfhill in the Valley of the Four Winds, in Pandaria. There you can find an NPC that will give you small cooking quests and sell ingredients for 5-point cooking recipes all the way to 500, with the trainer giving you those recipes stood right beside her.
Cool tip I've figured out while farming old dungeons. Once at the end, ensure you delete your Hearthstone (you don't really need one as there are toys that do the same thing) and use the "Character Stuck" button in the help menu, your character will instantly die, allowing you to release and appear at the dungeons entrance. It's also a suggestion to create a Naked gear set in the Equipment Manager to quickly remove all gear and avoid nasty repair bills.
Cool video! About the draenor leveling. I did 90-100 in about 40 minutes with elixir of rapid mind. Before u go on the route and before u use your rapid mind elixir. Go ahead and do all the bonus objectives, dont complete them tho. Just leave with 1or 2 mobs away from conpletion. The head back to beginning of the route and get all treasures u see and comolete all bonus objectives by just killing one mob in each.
A very entertaining video with many great tips! Btw, I had to laugh so much at the end with your Arnie imitation :) Thank You for this great Video and sry for my Google-Translate-english, I'm from Germany.
Longest time i've wondered how folks would roll their mounts like that. I would be stubborn and try to figure it out myself whenever i thought about it. Can't wait to try it
Hey there MadSeason, Long time watcher first time commenter. Really fuckin love what you doing with the channel mate, quality content! Actually not playing wow anymore but this video reminded me of and old bug in wotlk back when I played. Whenever I entered a party member's vehicle in aquatic form druid in water, then relog and dismount on land I'd still be in the aquatic form waddling across town. Had some laughs with it and figured it might be a great addition to one of these vids if it's still in there somehow, anways just wanted to thank you for the great entertainment, cheers dude
Those Inky Black Potions are awesome; they really are a game changer. I just spent 250 gold on them. Suramar at night looks so cool! I would never of known about these; thanks MadSeason!
Something handy about the inky black potion. When you use it, it replaces the skybox with the night sky. This includes an fog a zone might have. So, if you want to travel from zone to zone without immediately getting fog-blind upon crossing zone-borders or if you just want to fully enjoy the big viewing distance without fog bugging you, use the potion.
Damn Madseason. I wasen't long a go that i comment on one of your videos back when you had like 3-4 k subscribers. glad to see you doing so well, keep it up :)
Thanks again! Great and humorous info! Unless they've changed Handy Notes, you'll need a plug-in for displaying the treasure nodes. There is one for Draenor and The Broken Isles.
Big tip as a bonus to your rapid mind elixir guide, go to gorgrond, finish all the side objectives 99% so you leave without killing or looting that last mob etc, once you have done this on all the side objectives, complete all the quests you van without handling any in, now use the elixir and turn in all quests and kill those last objectives within the 15minutes, and you go 93-100 in 15minutes, cant remember if you need to add some objectives in talador
a quick tip for you goblin cannonballs trying the Darkmoon Faire cannon daily, in case you accidentally dropped wings too early or too late, you can use Rocket Jump before hitting the water to try and get that bullseye. this also works with Disengage, the hunter spell, though it's technically harder because you're sent backwards instead of forwards (obviously, if you're used to Disengage then it isn't harder). i suggest binding either spell to middle mouse button so you can control your camera as well as jump with one hand.
Also on a note of draenor treasures- in spires of Arak there is one called Blessing of Raven mother which gives you small amount of rested (arround one bar/item) so basically you get 1 and have x2 exp for next one and so on and so on. Also also :) if you get the elixir of rapid mind/ancient knowledge- before using it do all bonus objectives MINUS 1 mob- and then fly arround and finish them all rapid pace with tons of quest to wash it up (i reccomend gorgrond cause you can get extra "boss" quests- those elites flying/walking arround)
I had been using the Crystal of Insanity since end-game MoP. The free stat boost was useful for a while, but not so much these days. Thank you for the tip about the Fel Focuser. Going to be getting that on each character that can have it.
Another handy tip for makes. A lot of them don't know that if you visit your trainer, they can teach you an ability. I forget what it is called, but it makes it to where when you blink, you will actually blink in the direction you're running or walking, even if going backwards.
I wasn't sure if i should hit the sub button since your monotone talking made me fall asleep couple times :) but after that monotone joke i didn't think twice.
Wow! First time I've seen DMF look appealing! Didn't know about that potion, and Duskwood in the dark always scared the crap out of me, esp on a pvp server.
Speaking of rolling tricks, if you jump forward and hit the roll button mid-air while holding down the S key, you’ll roll the opposite direction of the one you jumped toward. The same probably applies to any other configurations of directions.
For tip twenty, at the Darkmoon Faire with the cannon game, Warlocks too, Warlocks can use their Demonic Circle if you go down range and set it up first.
@MadSeasonShow heres a tip! you can fly from outside of the shrine of two moons to the portals without dismounting if you do it right, saves you a lot of time having to walk up the stairs and to the portal room :)
Far from monotone, you can hear how much you enjoy this game and the topic of discussion in your voice dude. It's why you are so watchable... pity you play dwarf pally! :P
Speaking of Monks being able to roll backwards, Mages can do pretty much the same thing with Blink! Go to your class trainer and they'll offer to teach you Arcane Momentum, which will change your Blink spell to move you in the direction you're moving rather than just straight forward - in other words, it'll work pretty much the same way the Monk's roll works. It used to be a glyph, and when most of those were taken away, this one in particular was changed to just be available from your trainer.
Real quick, for Draenor leveling skipping with the Elixir of the Rapid Mind, if you get to level 92 and go to Gorgrond, do all of the bonus objectives but don't complete them, leave one thing left like destroy 1 more egg, kill one more mob etc. pop the Elixir, have on full BoAs of course, and have the Garrison potion active, you can do your final task at each bonus objective in the zone and hit 98-99 in less than 10 minutes as long as you prep everything correctly. Obviously requires flying or a friend with a two-seater flying mount for Draenor, but it is seriously nice skipping all of that to get into Legion.
Didn't Blizzard cut the exp gains on all things in this patch? 50% more exp is the cap now. Don't take me seriously here, but I think I saw that on reddit.
Nifty trick for the accelerated potion. Drink one just before you ding 100, and you can maintain it for an hour even after 100. Also if you have been smart, between 100-101 the draenor bonus zones still give about 120k each. Don't bother after 101 as they drop to 22k xp
There is nothing greater than watching a man achieving goals and growing at his own will. Keep up the good work, love your channel and still can't believe how fast your channel is getting bigger. Cheers!
1 thing about leveling cooking..you can level it fast by buying mats in Halfhill, Pandaria. Also leveling fast from 100-110, go to New dalaran sewers, flag the guards for PvP, and open chests for loads of XP. Some chests in Legion also reward XP, not sure why some do and some don't though.
Love the flap for my cap druid. Just need to get for my lower druids ones. Also the inky position makes grate screenshots. Did one for my Twitter with agurs in the sky at the time.
Counter point to the timewalking one 3 toons If you only do it on 1 char but know you'll be playing wow forever, do it on only 1 toon to keep it as ever green content. With the exception of maybe 3 dungeons over the last 2-3 years and the badges you get on the anniversary event I've exclusively done timewalking on my main. I do have all 3 mounts now and about half the toys but it keeps it a viable thing to just do for fun and progression to a goal once a month or so.
Side note tip: about 50% of all 8 of my 12 toons 100-110 exp came from the daily on the anniversary events. The rest came from farming the event mounts like big love rocket [no I don't have it, no one does] or if there's a new item during an event that you want, do it on an alt since you'll do it anyway but this way you get exp.
Hey MadSeason awesome videos. like you I am an oldschool player I played on Khadgar the server where you had your hunter and didn't really get very far (I think level 30 was my tops) mainly cause the monthly fee was so high in my currency. it still is though :S, I returned 3 months ago after playing on and off for vanilla, wrath and mists (free to level 20 trials) I finally decided to buy the $9.99 promotion that included up Warlords and am currently playing on Area52 server. the game has changed so much and it's hard to stay up to date with so much stuff coming out each time. still gotta buy the Legion expansion and the battle for azeroth (1/4 of a paycheck in my currency) still your videos are an awesome looking back on so much I missed. never have done a 25 man raid but am looking forward to doing it some day. cool videos and love the FF7 music :D Greetings from South America.
When I first started using TSM, I apparently didn't have the vendoring plugin set up correctly, and it vendored all of my gear... which included all of the legendaries that my main had collected which I kept in my backpack for fun. When I realized a few hours later I literally almost cried. Luckily, one of my guildies let me know about Item Restoration!
Flap*
The typo made it much more funny.
That typo is totally accidental, right?
i love your voice
There is a little trick as well for all classes if you need to get back to a beginning of a Instance or Raid. If you don't have a Hearthstone in your Backpack and use the Charakter Stuck! feature in your Help menu, you will commit suicide. In most Raids and Dungeons this will bring you back to the beginning.
I dont think it was a Mistake ^^
The laugh after bear tartare - heart warming :)
Melted my heart
probably the first time we heard him laughing. nice
Medicine Man at least you probably have some heartburn pills laying around XD
14:21 Haha that was probably the first time you laugh in a video since i know you hahaha TAR TAR!
Yeah
Nightbot I also noticed and thought it was a bit like Mccree from OW laughs. Awesome!
hahaha! That reminded me so much of the scene from Stargate SG-1 where Teal'c starts laughing after telling a jaffa joke.
And it sounded like a genuine laugh
Is it the first time he laughed because you know him? Because that's what your comment says.
the 8:21 area, "Fap for your life", did a bust out loud lol.
The choice of music for this video made the experience of watching it all the better!
The background music... the outro... THE LAUGH... everything was so good! Thanks for another great vid!!
My favourite monotone UA-cam channel. 😍
Better than Ambien!
Legit always excited when I see that you posted a new vid. Im sure tons would agree!
Correction: For #3, this doesn't work for Mages(so just druids, monks and DKs...should have tested all of them. My bad!)
MadSeasonShow “Bear tartare” gave me tears in my eyes hahaha
MadSeasonShow you usually sound serious in your videos, and watching this video, hearing you laughing is on another level haha. Still great video likewise :)
If you don't have a class hall tp create a group I n Custom group finder then leave and you'll be tp'd to the nearest graveyard after 1 minute
You can que up for a pandaria scenario i believe before entering any instance. Then when you are done with the run, you teleport to the scenario, and teleport out, and you will be at the start of the dungeon :)
You can do leave instance then enter instance I think.
8:18
The top left corner, I'm DEAD
14:23 OMG thats the first time i heard you laughing :D
(4:11)
"I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail..."
Lazy Masquerade
I did not expect to see you here. Any spooky wow related horror stories on the way?
Soo Lazy does play WoW? What realm? :D
Haha, I am taking a break from it right now. I muck around on Kronos from time to time. Just waiting for BfA and Classic WoW to drop atm.
Kazzak EU, mostly.
Super stealthy Simon and Garfunkel reference.
I usually watch videos while I play while I'm home alone. I was watching this, and as a 13-years WoW player I just learned about item restoration from this video while half-ass listening it. I accidentally sold a 100k flip and didn't realize what I did two days ago, and just restored it thanks to you
For Flap, make sure to also take Wild Charge. It allows you to change direction mid air, fantastic for early expansion!
I must say that I love these videos because they are entertaining yet relaxing. You have a really smooth voice. Also the background music was great because I could play some of them.

every time i see this notification i get excited :)
Enjoy =)
Micah me too
I am glad you are here to give real info and GREAT dry entertainment. A real personality goes a long way. Keep up the good work my friend!
I was having a bad day, then I watched this and listening to you laugh trying to pronounce "Tartare" made me smile. Thank you a lot Madseason.
I need to stop staying up till 4am watching your videos but there just so damn good, i love them please never stop.
Just wanted to say, when I first started watching these videos I thought "man this guys voice is lame it sounds like he's falling asleep lmao"
but now im listening to these videos while leveling and man its great, your voice is consistent and not crazy sounding haha makes it easy to play and listen at the same time :D

But I confess that, though these qualities still remain, I now like it even more for your sense of humour.
Thanks anyway, keep it up.
I'll never understand why your channel doesn't have more subs than it does, Best edited videos ever! Keep it up my fine feathered friend :D

Holy shit that Draenor Skip is a life saver! I got fed up by doing the intro over and over and over and over.
+1

No you don't.

omg he laughed!!!
by the way it's pronounced tar-tar
I've never played WoW (Wow!) or been really interested in it but your videos are great, can't stop watching them haha. Keep up the awesomeness!
Is there EVER a series that people don't want more of it from you? Of course we ask for more of this amazing content.
Cool video! About the draenor leveling. I did 90-100 in about 40 minutes with elixir of rapid mind. Before u go on the route and before u use your rapid mind elixir. Longest time i've wondered how folks would roll their mounts like that. I would be stubborn and try to figure it out myself whenever i thought about it. Can't wait to try it
8:18 Best advice ever in a WoW video. Lmao
I always like before I watch. It's just so natural now. Thanks for another upload!
I never wait for a cooldown to watch my favourite monotone youtube channel, I always do it WHILE doing the run! (cue dramatic music)
Had some laughs with it and figured it might be a great addition to one of these vids if it's still in there somehow, anways just wanted to thank you for the great entertainment, cheers dude
been following your channel for a while now, you've been doing a good job with videos like this
I appreciate it....thanks!
I wasen't long a go that i comment on one of your videos back when you had like 3-4 k subscribers.
glad to see you doing so well, keep it up :)
about to play through draenor for the first time, great video my dude
14:23 finally heard you laughing:D
These videos always make me smile a bit, good job.
15:37 Skyrim theme, love that music pick there madseason! Keep up the good work!!!!
Thanks again! Great and humorous info!
Unless they've changed Handy Notes, you'll need a plug-in for displaying the treasure nodes. There is one for Draenor and The Broken Isles.
Hunter's can learn a Fetch ability which works like a loot-a-rang but everywhere. Pet runs and grabs your loot, no cooldown. good keybind.
I like that you have many 90’s movies references. Especially the Home Alone ones.
Awesome video, as aways!
But... Please, please bring us the part 2 of Wow memories! All this wait is killing me!
Love these vids. So much shit I don't know lol. What is the name of that version of the zelda theme around 13:50 that's playing in the background?
I had been using the Crystal of Insanity since end-game MoP. The free stat boost was useful for a while, but not so much these days. Thank you for the tip about the Fel Focuser. Going to be getting that on each character that can have it.
Another handy tip for makes. A lot of them don't know that if you visit your trainer, they can teach you an ability. I forget what it is called, but it makes it to where when you blink, you will actually blink in the direction you're running or walking, even if going backwards.
I wasn't sure if i should hit the sub button since your monotone talking made me fall asleep couple times :) but after that monotone joke i didn't think twice.
went from history of the game to telling you to hold ctl for a trick.. this channel is going places
I loved the Morrowind theme in the background a very nice addition to the video.
When that song started at 4:12 it kept haunting me for the rest of the video. I knew I'd heard it before. Turns out Simon And Garfunkel played it :D
Thank you SO MUCH for the tip about the Garrison XP boost.
Wow! First time I've seen DMF look appealing! Didn't know about that potion, and Duskwood in the dark always scared the crap out of me, esp on a pvp server.
#4 Item restoration has a 15 day cool-down. In case anyone wants to know.
I love your videos keep up the good work 👌🏾
You're one of my favourite wow channels to watch keep up the great work.
Thanks for the support man!
Great video! Many things I didn't know and will definitly come in handy.
Also: Skyrim music!!
Idk, but for last few months I like first and watch after it. Great and fun content, keep it coming
omfg your laugh. *cries with joy* that was so unexpected and good
Far from monotone, you can hear how much you enjoy this game and the topic of discussion in your voice dude. It's why you are so watchable... pity you play dwarf pally! :P
You are my favorite monotone UA-cam channel!
Love your videos man, wish I can get back into wow. My laptop broke last year around the time legion came out. Trying to save up for a new one.
18:20
for other classes can use Goblin Glider Kit
And until now I didn't know about the short cut to WoD. Thank you!
I don't know why, but I really enjoy listening to your voice.
It used to be a glyph, and when most of those were taken away, this one in particular was changed to just be available from your trainer.
its my birthday and you upload a video, thank u so much
Real quick, for Draenor leveling skipping with the Elixir of the Rapid Mind, if you get to level 92 and go to Gorgrond, do all of the bonus objectives but don't complete them, leave one thing left like destroy 1 more egg, kill one more mob etc. pop the Elixir, have on full BoAs of course, and have the Garrison potion active, you can do your final task at each bonus objective in the zone and hit 98-99 in less than 10 minutes as long as you prep everything correctly. That laugh 14:23
Again an awesome video, Mad :-)
Keep up your great work
PS: The Bear Tartare got me :D
Thanks for the video man. I used the trick about the restore item just a little while ago!!
I'm kicking myself in the bum for not getting WoD flying 😭
catchingsomezzzz i got that 4 months into Legion
Matsen115 I stopped playing tail end of wod and picked up around 7.2 of legion tho I can't go back to wod I just can't xc
I got the rep tokens to get my rep up to revered...cost a bit of gold, but so worth it.
catchingsomezzzz. Same
Wonderful video Mad. Light bless you for let us hear that silly laugh. It was an odd moment
Love the flap for my cap druid. Just need to get for my lower druids ones. Also the inky position makes grate screenshots. Did one for my Twitter with agurs in the sky at the time.
Thanks for the Inky Black Potion! It certainly gives a different feeling to the game! :D
at 8:20 you spelled fap instead of flap, was that an error or intentional if so I do not get it can you explain the joke?
Counter point to the timewalking one 3 toons
If you only do it on 1 char but know you'll be playing wow forever, do it on only 1 toon to keep it as ever green content. The rest came from farming the event mounts like big love rocket [no I don't have it, no one does] or if there's a new item during an event that you want, do it on an alt since you'll do it anyway but this way you get exp.
Going into the warrior class hall looks SOOOO cool with the inky potions!! Try it
Hey MadSeason awesome videos. like you I am an oldschool player I played on Khadgar the server where you had your hunter and didn't really get very far (I think level 30 was my tops) mainly cause the monthly fee was so high in my currency. it still is though :S, I returned 3 months ago after playing on and off for vanilla, wrath and mists (free to level 20 trials) I finally decided to buy the $9.99 promotion that included up Warlords and am currently playing on Area52 server. the game has changed so much and it's hard to stay up to date with so much stuff coming out each time. still gotta buy the Legion expansion and the battle for azeroth (1/4 of a paycheck in my currency) still your videos are an awesome looking back on so much I missed. never have done a 25 man raid but am looking forward to doing it some day. cool videos and love the FF7 music :D Greetings from South America.
I love how you are more confident in your videos now, I love the humor and it makes me want more content. Keep it up!
Ahhh, Noggaholic. Dopefish, my hero. _Goes on a WoW Exploration montage_
Even your laugh is monotonic, I love it lol
Loved the Morrowind music around #19!
