This dude is awesome. I'd like to find a teacher like him. It's so easy to understand, straight to the fact and enjoyable. For some reason it's really enjoyable, even if I know the riffs.
Thanks for this, and all your lessons Carl. You're hitting a bunch of my favorite songs! Really great videos, it shows that you put a lot of time into them
A late comment, but your version of the pre-chorus is way better than other ways I've seen it played. Not sure how Malcolm played it but thanks for this. Made a huge difference for me!
Hi Carl, I'm a fairly new subscriber to your channel. You are super talented and the best guitar teacher on UA-cam in my opinion. Thanks for all your hard work putting this stuff out.
definitely not this guys way to fast for other intermediate guitar players and begginners if you want to see a really good teacher hop over to "marty music" with marty shwartz he is the best teacher ever
lmao nah dude I've been learning from Carl for a while, especially when I was a beginner. SUPER helpful. Marty doesn't do any fun songs. They are all too easy.
I'm not even learning to play guitar (I've tried, I don't have the patience or motivation to do it) but I still keep coming back to watch your videos because I genuinely enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work!
Super! You are the best that we can find on youtube, and I am sure that your paid lessons must be spectacular. I don't have the time right now and paying $ 20 a month not to use it doesn't make sense. As soon as I have more time I will be sure to register for your classes. It is a pity that in the beginning there is not a slightly cheaper modality for us to start getting excited. Carl Brown is the best. PS. - We also have to thank you for providing us with some free lessons on youtube. Thanks

love your channel! I feel like you really nail everything! I remedy buying a "how to play metallica" video years ago and I remember having to correct some of the mistakes the guy made in the video. not with you! thanks for what you do!
Its commonly known angus didn't use pedals. Just rely on winding up your amp.and a good set of humouring pickups. Its your fingers that give you more of the tone.
@@elyasse1323 yeah I get it if your in an environment, that you can't wind it up to11. But modern day amps and computer based stuff let you do this. Not exactly the same I get it.
I know how to play this song My Favorite AC/DC Song Off The Back In Black Album i I learned how to play just about every old and new song by AC/DC off of every Album i enjoy playing my Acoustic Guitar and jamming along with Angus Young And Malcolm Young
Hey Carl, everything is perfect everything is perfect but just one thing - wouldn't it sound better if right before the chorus you play C5 and slide up to D5? At least that's how I've been playing it for years and it sounds more appropriate? Anyway you sound great man!!!
Hey ALL CAPS, I think you are wrong. I suppose a solo could be a riff, but not all riffs are solos. Everybody knows what he meant. and in this case, he was right to break it down that down way.
hi carl, i have a request, if you could do castles made of sand, that'd be great, everyone many teaches the intro and some of the verse, dvd lessons don't even teach the whole song, it'd be great if you could...
Renditions of this song are always overly gainy. In fact so are most AC/DC covers. But it usually only sounds right with the right gear at a comparatively modest level of amp breakup. You want to hear the chords ring out, not fizz about. Loads of overdrive is not how AC/DC creates their heavy vibe.
Now all i need is to buy a 2000 lb bell for someone to play during the intro
Me too lol. Also it needs to be my alarm bell lol.
That's funny 🤣
Great opportunity for your best friend to join your band. Much better than the tambourine! 😂
@@GeorgeBonez If I had one I would
I use my own two jingle bells but it sounds very thin.
By far my favorite teacher on UA-cam !!

Your tone on every song is awesomeee.
Great lesson as always. For the next AC/DC song, let there back rock would be awesome.

seriously..you are THE dude!!!

how do you do the transition from the intro riff to the pre verse

dude just keep trying you don't learn guitar in A Hart beat
keep trying man trust me it is easier than you think
coletrain7122000 Just sit down for a couple of hours and practice. When you're done, you will be better than you were before.
If you practice 24 hours a day you can be an slightly higher beginner within a week
For years i was doing the intro to this on the open strings, this way is SO much easier.
Same. That’s what the tab showed from a book from the 90s.
Super!

Hey Carl, what pedals/amps do you use here?

AC/DC rules man
ALL RIFFS ARE SUPPOSED TO INCLUDE THE SOLO THATS IN THE MEANING (ALL RIFFS)
All riffs means all rhythm guitar parts. Here is the solo Hells Bells Guitar Lesson Pt.2 - AC/DC - Solo ua-cam.com/video/hWEDWl4LFeI/v-deo.html
