@user-co9ne8gi2d because if the rest of the country feels anything like I do, it's great to see a rare occurrence that doesn't involve heat, flooding or politics, and whether I'm native American or not, I am spiritual, and happy to see anything that could be interpreted as a much needed good sign or omen.
@@gingerannamae6308 Sometimes individuals are born lacking pigment. It's easily explainable and understandable genetics, not a sign from a non-existent ghost in the sky.

If you've never heard of the DOCTOR who performed the Rice Experiment, then you know nothing of the potential of positive energy, and absolute reality of such things.

You can understand better if you listen to Arvol Looking Horse's talk on an old UA-cam video years ago about the prophetic meaning of an albino calf.
Do you mean the last time an albino calf was born? I remember it happening and a big deal was made out of it then, but can't say how many years it's been.
I remember another oneborn earlier too. This man's talks have been put on YouTuvbe for years and are really interesting. He explains that albinos are a sign of a weakening ecology. The albino was not healthy, and was protected by the herd, put in the center with the calves. It is a sign that we need to change and protect the earth again.

Ummm, this isn't an albino. No pink eyes, pink nose, etc. It's much rarer, a true white.

Love the photographer- “had to get a photo of that thing”. Narrator refers to the baby bison as “it”. He or she is a living sacred creature to Indigenous Peoples. Have some respect.

Hunted to near extinction... That must have been when some US government offucials tried to starve natives to death by slaughtering the bison upon which many depended. That went on from around 1820-1880's. By the 1890's, the numbers dropped from an estimated 30-60 million to under a thousand.

We should all have the same respect for Mother Earth.
This one is different it has black hives, black nose, and black tongue. This is why it is so rare and it is fulfilling a very old prophecy. This is a sacred animal.

It's special because it's a rare occurrence. Animals don't care for politics, just survival. Animals born with this white mutation actually have a lower chance of survival in the wild because they aren't able to blend into the environment, making them a target for predators.
I'd like to be around to see and hope that it stays alive till adulthood so that if it's ever seen again those indigenous people can come together and celebrate it's making it to adulthood and I can see the story.

An albino/leucistic bison calf! What a rarity! I'm glad someone spotted it. Now I just wish the little baby good luck. It's hard living out there for wild animals and babies don't always make it. Humans thinking it's sacred probably won't help.
I remember watching an old episode of unsolved mysteries where they did a story of a white buffalo being born. That one was owned by someone that bred buffalo though.
The same thing was said the last time a white Buffalo calf was born. It reminds me how the religious claim earthquakes are caused by an angry god.

Watch out for bears and wolves. They eat not just buffalo calves with leucism, but baby elks and deers with leucism.
They’re not doing anything to protect it from predators. They believe that it should live wild and if nature takes its course, then it can’t be helped.

During and after the enclosure movement the cowboys militias prospectors pioneers and socialists all forced our indigenous people to move away from their original homes upon all the abundances of minerals natural resources and mountains. Everywhere today were we are left over isn't really connected to our ancestors, the places we remain today is where we were all forced to live beginning 240+ years ago in the making of a new indigenous english speaking life, if we wanted to survive from the death penalties and punishments we had to obey them 100% of the time in order to survive thats just the life of being an American indigenous person.
