@@ToyAttics You should make a transformer of Kim! Like a skywarp or thundercracker girl figure; my daughter would love it. There's a store in Chicago that can do that!
@ Information, kind Sir. It was very informative. Enjoying hearing about the owner and manager origins. Very much appreciated. Makes me feel not so different.
The way Kim described that old console made me think of the Vectrex straight away. However, that's from my old arse Gen X childhood, haha. Came out around 1982-83. And yeah, you've gotta do a tour of Jimmy's joint. His place sounds INSANE 🤪
@@kimazn Yes! That console is burned into my brain. For some reason, my big brother pressured me to get Vectrex for my birthday. And I was like "nah man, I'm getting Atari. Suck eggs!"
Test shots, first presses, prototypes, and pre-production items make it out of the factories in China ALL the time. The employees stay behind after normal work hours and put them out to sell on ebay. The only way of knowing if it was actually used in the process of evaluation before they actually ran production is by having a production line supervisor giving written confirmation. The high price on that item is ridiculous 😂. 250$ tops, is what modern Hasbro prototypes typically go for, except some minor exceptions.
@ToyAttics By having a keen eye, that is most probably a 2001 Saga collection test shot Yoda without accessory (missing his lightsaber). Early 2000 prototypes go for way less than mid to late 90's POTF line prototypes. At this very moment there is still track of a prototype Yoda with accessories (cane and boiling pot) from POTF 1998 that sold for exactly 800$ on August 23rd 2024. His first 400$ tag was well priced. If someone REALLY wanted it he could probably squeeze out 485$ just below the 500 mark.
@ToyAttics You're right 😂👍. I'm just thinking like a real collector and buyer. I have prototypes in my collection. Know enough of the market and prices.
Her interview was kinda lame... she acts so bored and un interested... didn't thank you for your military service just says "ohhh" and "mmmm"..... this chick uhh, yeah.... like yeah, but absolutely not lol... back to the ______
Currently being in the military myself, none of us care if we get thanked for our service or not. Cut the young lady a break, doing interviews, thinking/remembering questions in a professional interview setting is hard all while trying to make it look like a natural conversation is a lot and gets better with time.
@gixxerjake I think it’s important that when you are interviewing someone for something that is their entire livelihood , we give them the floor and space to speak. The segment is about them, not the “lame” girl interviewing. 😊
Should we have Kim, @kimazn on IG, host more videos? Should we create a series on Back in Time Collectibles?!
YES

Wait, there was a toy store behind her! Achieved intended results.

The difference between collecting and hoarding is organization and focus.
