Finally! Someone else realizes the Bimini top would be a much better design if it folded toward the back instead of the front! I love my Switch, but it's such a hassle to climb aboard to get something you forgot when it's in "travel mode" with the Bimini down. Thanks for pointing that out! Hopefully someone at Bombardier will hear you.
Been looking at this boat for the family. Funny your on highland lake, my cousin has a house there. Good to know you can go about 40 mph. Plenty fast for that lake.
If your steering is out of adjustment, it's probably going to inhibit top speed. I thought that the 170 was supposed to run like 45 mph in the 13 foot model once the break in time was complete?
@@WeTryMotorsports cool thanks. That's not too shabby for a little 13 foot tri-toon. I was just curious. There's not too many owner reviews out about these. Mostly promos and demos. I'm thinking about getting one but gotta pay off some other toys first. How's the reliability?
@@JP-ec9rl solid so far! few nuance problems. I think it's super cool, but definitely requires good cover and plastic maintenance. it fades quick in the sun otherwise.
@@yojohnny5 no tunes available really yet. super frustrating but I've been told they're aiming past 180. I would like to see more than anything is better acceleration. basically like the Sparks, instant throttle response
@@WeTryMotorsports Ah, I hear ya. Yeah I guess that's why I can't find any review of flashing... lol. I figured it would be the same flashes used on the skis, seems like the engines the same and everything you read about the 170 is mild factory tune. Good luck with it, I bet it's a blast even stock. Looks like hella fun.
@@yojohnny5 the acceleration on the stock tune can definitely be modified for instant throttle response. love the boat, but yeah it needs a kick. even so, it's still VERY fun, definitely the most rowdy pontoon boat i've been on. not the fastest but the most unhinged lol
pretty good in eco mode. it's more like "hours per gallon" instead. if you go easy with a few people, you can last 10 hours. if you go full throttle with a full boat, expect about 3-4 hours.

I have the 21 230 Cruise Switch and I am getting up to 35MPH with 5 ppl on board!

I am getting 7600 rpm at 42 mph full tank and one passenger !! With top up ! Sport compact !!
wow that's great! I've seen 42 one time but never 7600rpm
@@WeTryMotorsports yeah it’s weird . Time before last outing I got 7500 rpm .
I am at about 19 hours .
How many hours have you put on yours ?
@@MR.TOYBOX about 13 now
Look good for calm waters..but ocean bays with good chop might be real bouncy
@@SuperQdaddy thanks, I have a video on the bay (sound) as well!
This is the most awesome pontoon the market!
Still very impressive for a pontoon boat, I’m on a waiting list for a sport.
FYI I hit 43 the other day too. good conditions!
Very nice video thanks for sharing. I love my swith. Im looking for a good video on a second battery install.

@@WeTryMotorsports sooo, gallon jugs of Maxima SC1 in a pump sprayer is what you're telling me?
Whats the lowest trolling speed the switch can achieve?
ski mode can go down to 5mph
What state is this? I grew up on one in Maine, but this doesn't look the same.
CT
But can you attach a trolling motor to it?
we will be doing that this spring
is this the 170hp model or 230hp?
they only make it up to 170hp in the 13' model (compact). i'm about to tune it
@@WeTryMotorsports Hey did you ever end up tuning this bad boy? I'd love to see what this thing will run at 200HP

I think I would rather buy a boat from a company named We Doo🤔
