im gonna have to get my hands on one of those. not the first time youve convinced me to buy something. bought the icon qcon pro after your videos and still to this day use it
GEM! I’ve got a WX2 “multimedia workstation”. Well, it’s actually my dad’s property but it’s got a nice keybed and makes a good midi controller keyboard.
This is all well and good but I would really like to see an instrument map set up from scratch for a synth that doesn't have one available. I'm struggling with getting this done for my Kurzweil PC4.
I have already owned 2 GEM brand keyboards, the first 1995, the WS1 an oriental the second the WK2 an oriental keyboard too but I did not know that the production is Italian: D thank you :))
I do exactly this with my existing cheap hardware. I use the keyboard split on my Yamaha MX88. The top goes out MIDI ch1 and the bottom goes out MIDI ch2 and I run 2 different synths like that.
Are you sure? Camelot can get patch list directly from the hardware device through smart maps, for some devices it can read parts, splits, volumes, it can switch scenes with no sound interruption, you can attach music scores and annotations for each scene, it can share the same project between macOS, Windows and iOS and much more... I invite you to try it out for free: camelotpro.com/try-and-buy/
@@AudioModeling is the laptop free? This video showed you playing 2 remote synths from one controller. I explained that I do this all the time using a split and 2 MIDI channels straight hardware. In this video you didn't do any other real-time controlling that you just now mentioned. In fact you stretched a 10 second function into a 5 minute video.
@TacoTacoTacoTaco ahhhh, i'm sorry, ya i thought you were mocking me. implied sarcasm doesn't get through text sometimes. this was not an impressive demo. oh and thx
@@jjrusy7438 thanks for your comment. This is a very short introduction to Camelot, it doesn't explain all the features at all. Of course, it's possible to do the same from a master keyboard with two zones, but Camelot is able to do infinite splits (both on the key and velocity range) with both hardware and software synths, perform complex MIDI routing, select patches and change modes without any MIDI knowledge, and much more. Note: this can be done for each scene. It means that you can have a totally different setup and routing just with a touch (or pressing a pedal, for example). im curious if you could do an Antelope audio goliath hd interface review ive really been wanting to buy one but the reviews i see arent as high quality as yours are you always go into so much detail about things.
Actually there are no similar solutions that can provide a so deep integration with hardware synths. There are products capable of programming program changes but smart maps, with preset name selection and the possibility of tweaking a performance or a combi is not a common thing.
@@slaweksuchy2702 yep, on VSTs there are other solutions. That's why we want to extend the context to hardware and other domains, like backing tracks, music scores, light control, video playback... to provide an all in one solution with one workflow. On iOS we are the only solution also that provides scene switch without sound interruptions with Auv3.
I recently purchased Camelot and it's fantastic - going to change the way I think about live performance.

Extremely useful. Nice work!
what is going on with the editing in this video
What a genius program

Why is that man next to you wearing his pyjama’s? It looks like a sleepover party 😉
Just see the update for Camelot come in last week, hope they can add Audio and FX shortly.
We are working on that, including audio backing tracks ;)
Audio Modeling cool stuff👍

@TacoTacoTacoTaco yeah, any clown can do what this video did with hardware, even you. lulz

Cool
I don't know if we really saw the full potential of the software. I can do the same thing i just saw in cubase very easily.

Anche JEN Claudio..... ciao !
can this software be used to control the MOTU 128?
Simone Capitain looks like a 2007 version of John Oliver.
Yet AGAIN, I'm going to have to buy something that you have demonstrated, Claudio. You are very dangerous to my wallet!!!!!
My like 100th in a row. I'm lucky again!
Bad to the bone.......🙌🏼
