Air Canada is not that bad of an airline. I've flown them a few times, and they're certainly better than what I'm used to, which is low cost airlines like Swoop primarily. However, I will be flying Air Canada more now that Swoop is gone, because their prices aren't that bad if you book at the right time
I respectfully disagree. With the possible exception of Ethiopian Airlines, it is the cheapest, most low rent, underwhelming airline on the planet. And in an industry that has devolved into cattle herding, that is a rather dubious achievement…
Air Canada has the vast majority of the market. And it shows. The only areas where it even tries to lift its game is when it's in completion with Air Porter, otherwise they don't give a shit.
@@airalmond Yes. Porter is a huge threat to them, I think. Everyone loves Porter, so Air Canada must step up its game to stay ahead. However, in general Air Canada is not that bad of an airline
I've flown Air Canada Vancouver to Tokyo in economy, about nine hours. While it wasn't the best flight I've had, it wasn't the worst either. Any "national" airline is by default bad since they know they're not going out of business if the service sucks. I can't imagine how unbelievably awful it would be if the U.S. had a national airline.
Air Canada is not a national Airline. It used to be owned by the government, but it was privatized in 1989. Federal government acquired 6.4% in 2021 to help the airline during the pandemic. They cut service to make more money for shareholders. On the other hand national airlines in the middle east get the highest satisfaction scores.

Your back, I actually look on your page a few weeks ago and thought you stopped making videos.. can you please do an Alaska flight from Toronto to Seattle or Seattle to Toronto .
I'm back! Currently editing a Lufthansa 747 video. I haven't filmed an Alaska Airlines flight yet, but I'll try booking one next time I fly west. It might be a while before that happens, though.
porter has no carry on , no seat selection at check in for their base fare and no ife, no/terrible loyalty. Air Canada over porter easily especially for the high fares porter charges for inferior product
I did say it makes sense to choose Air Canada if you can get 50K loyalty status. Otherwise just book based on price. Getting status on AC is not that easy, they charge a lot for Flex 100% SQM fares, Standard only gets 50% SQM, and Basic gets none. And free internet + entertainment over WIFI is better than seatback IFE in my opinion. But that's just personal preference.
I don't think so. Their ticket prices are usually comparable to Porter and WestJet, and their basic ticket still includes a carry on. If they do free snacks permanently and add free wifi they will be a good North American airline, just like Porter.
'Let's go film the toilet' should be in every vlogger or video reviewer's lexicon.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I like the video 9/10
What do I need for 10/10
Air Canada has the vast majority of the market. And it shows. The only areas where it even tries to lift its game is when it's in completion with Air Porter, otherwise they don't give a shit.
That's true. I think they will have to improve as Porter expands further.

I was planning on flying on this plane however I’m looking for great sink water pressure rather than just good
I make these videos so that customers like you can make informed decisions before booking your next flight!
I love your humor and style. Refreshing compared to people trying to be robotic.
I completely agree with you! I was about to say the same thing
Thanks! I really appreciate it!
