Plea all of those charges down to non-moving violations and pay the fines. There will be no record if you do it right. Ask for the driver responsibility class, that usually works.

Re: 6:48, I think you're just being sarcastic, but your number one goal is to ensure that these appear on your record as minor documentation infractions and not criminal charges.
    You should either:
    1) Go to court to show contrition and politely argue your case; or
    2) Same as #1 but with a traffic court lawyer recommended by a friend (best option).
This is about revenue collection, and you can generally negotiate with the solicitor ahead of your court date. You can even talk to the cop ahead of time and see if he'll throw out one or two of the charges. Your story is:
    A) You really did own the car, and this is all about paperwork.
    B) You have changed your business practices and have gotten a dealer license or whatever will prevent this from happening in the future.
    C) You have volunteered 20 hours of community service, ideally with an organization that the judge supports. (Search google for where the judge donates, or call the court clerk and ask nicely what charities the judge likes.)

The fact that Rich got the book thrown at him makes me suspect that either A) He does not try to work the system or B) As a white guy, I'm overestimating the options available to a black man in New England.
In the justice system, multiple people make decisions about your case. At each point, a black person is 3-7 times more likely to receive a worse outcome than a white person with the same charges.
My hope is that with Rich's legendary charm, plus a good lawyer, he can convince folks at each level in the system to give him a break.

I would recommend a lawyer when you go to court. Find someone that does a lot of traffic cases because they will know how to work with the Judge to get the best deal. Sometimes they can pre-arrange a lower charge or even dropping of charges but you always end up paying something. Try not to get any points because RS7 insurance may become unaffordable if you are a high risk driver.

Comfort keeps shifts at lower Rpm so it feels smoother , dynamic keeps the car shift revs at higher rpm then the car then feels more racy and individual you can set the modes to comfort for smooth and dynamic for higher rpm shifts . Auto reads you driving style and changes in its own to comfort or dynamic automatically. I have a 2019 Q7 and drive in comfort when cruising most of the time and when I need a little more juice I put it on dynamic like when I’m getting on a highway and I need to speed up quick . I love buttons I believe it would be kinda hard for search for stuff when when you have to have full attention to the road . I saw the 2020 Audi Q7 with the touch everything but I liked the discount I got on 2019 and the Navarra blue color it has :) I don’t like the touch buttons looks complicated while driving on the new one .

The settings are for more than just shifting. It also controls things like suspension stiffness, steering weight/speed, throttle response, and exhaust sound. Comfort is more of a touring (soft) setting while dynamic is aggressive for sport driving. Individual lets you pick and choose each aspect from either category (IE - having quicker steering and throttle response while still having a softer suspension setup)

What a broken system you have in the U.S. Reduced to a littering ticket. Smh.
People will just drive as they please with no real repercussions. Kill someone when driving. Pay a lawyer a get a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign.
If driving 40mph over where i live, the following would happen. Car instantly towed and impounded for 90 days. Tow fee around $1500
Instant loss of licence for 6months. Around $2000 fine for that 40mph over. Points added to your licence where if you have another infringment to put you over your total allocated points for 3 years. Another 3 month loss of licence.
Now if you decided to take the matter to court, no real point. Charges always stick. Going to court is for hopefull leniency. A friend who has a bike did a wheelie. Got caught by police. Bike towed/impounded for a month. Loss of licence for a month. Went to court. Somehow kept his licence.
Now you might think okay i lost my licence for a month and i'll risk driving. Very risky as alot of the police cars have npr. 4 camerss which scan and automatically know if someone is driving when they shouldnt be. Also works for stolen / unregistered ect ( usefull ) Now you have caught for driving while unlicenced. Thats 6 months mandotory jail. Off to court again if you dont want to end up someones girlfriend.
Yes rules are tough here but the roads are safe and less than one death per day in my state.
Ived lived in a country for a year with very very little police presence. Roads were chaotic. People did not follow rules at all. One stand out memory was walking to dinner at dusk and see a car approach a green light. The car slowed right down to yield at a green light. Thats what you get in a place with only a amount little of police enforcing traffic laws! ALOT of people killed daily on the roads too.

Rich, I feel your pain, I decided to forgo my insurance and roadtest my 1969 428 SCJ Cobra Torino back in the early 1970s. Thankfully it was registered as the car was pretty much perfect, but I received a no insurance ticket. Lesson learned ?"Don't drive a vehicle and or allow someone else to drive your vehicle without insurance". In many states, it's a mandatory license revocation for one year + a heavy fine + you're required to take another written and road test. This was the 1970s, my dad worked, my mom didn't drive, so I had to walk, jog, ride my bicycle, take the train[Long Island ] hitch rides to work for a year before I could apply for a new license. It sucked...

what i love about registrations and licenses etc. i didn't watch other vids in this series but... if it's abandoned... left wrecked... not drive-able... never moved... hasn't been relocated under it's own power... for X period of time... EVERY US STATE has laws stating you do NOT have to register or license that vehicle for that period of time. NO FINES! NO FEES! NO JAIL TIME! all that rot. GONE. it's like... storing a collectible car, or a one off prototype, or a parts car, or Porsche only made 40 of these vehicles so i'm NOT driving it except a mile or so every few years at an auto show.
because you bought the car, and fixed the car, and were moving it around, under its own power, without even a fake or expired tag on the bumper... you get pulled over and using 'officer discretion' he decided to 'jank you up' for 90% of the possible 'bum-fuckery permitted by law'. truuuust me, i was a cop for more than 14 years. if i'd pulled you over in THAT high dolla of a car and you gave me the 'spiel'... you'd have gotten a warning ticket/fixit ticket... and driven away scott free to show your paperwork to somebody official later on WITHOUT A TOW. lucky u, you didn't get the 'bum-fuckery loving dickhead cop' who woulda put the lovely shiny bracelets on you for a ride in the rumble seat of his doughnut getter. PLUS your high dolla ride woulda been towed. PLUS you woulda had to get BAILED OUT! for perhaps around 10% cash value bond. so. take what you've had to pay so far, 'to da man' for your errors... and more than double that cost. not counting the criminal arrest record that would be registered in AFIS and NCIC for the rest of your life... telling present and future employers about your 'criminal background' is never easy... :>
i'm seeing one huge problem with this Audi. too. much. crapola inside the cabin. electric switches and motors in car accessories fail like fucking canaries in coal-mines.
my 2007 Dodge Charger R/T i bought brand new off the showroom floor with less than drivetrain break in mileage on it... had failures within the first year i had to get replaced via warranty. driver side window in front, up down switch... replace the whole assembly on the arm rest. controls all four windows on all four doors. the motor in that window needed replacing too. would go up halfway and the 'oh something's blocking the window closing' sensor inside the motor would kick off and roll the window down automatically for no reason. i bought the car in Alaska. the weather sucks ASS in Alaska if your window's broken.
sun-roof... i didn't want one but shit... it came with one. seal failed within 3 years. i gotta keep a tarp over the sun-roof just in case it rains damn hard and water gets inside the roof liner and pools and drips into the interior of the car.
after the fifth year... the car dies when parked for over 3 days without running. remote starter system and burglar alarm sucks the battery dry and it needs a battery assisted jumper like you used on your Audi. or to sit on a trickle charger for the battery.
since Sirius etc. satellite radios are non-functional in Alaska that system along with the big touch-screen woo woo goodies were not installed in my Charger. or that ugly ass 'dorsal fin looking bump' antenna on the roof either. but for the exact same price Daimler/Chrysler 'sold me' a six disk internal CD changer am/fm radio. but of course it's Bluetooth system was WAY WAY too old and antiquated to play music from my phone. but it could answer phonecalls and wirelessly listen to me talk and suchforth.
so g'luck with your Audi. i hope the lil motorized woo-woos don't go bye-bye anytime soon. :)

@Robert Slackware hell yea you don't wait for a check in the mail. they want your guarantor/bondsman right there in person in front of the clerk saying, 'i swear i'm gonna make this turd show up for court', then signs the legal documents, hands over some form of payment, and off everybody goes.
you finish everything up, ask for money in person in hand right there and don't leave till you get it. if they bitch, it's the Constitution of the US they're violating, "without due process of law", the 'Government' can't take shit from you ever without following procedure. if they don't, dude in front of you is getting fired, his boss is getting fired, and your lawsuit owns that local/County/State jurisdiction.
if their process is 'mail you something' get them to legally print you out a notification of payment due/invoice. otherwise, 'oh dear, our records don't show bla bla bla' later on when your payment fails to show up in a timely fashion... i was a cop and got that run-around... before i waved documentation under said bureaucrat's nose. and my badge sometimes. you'd be surprised how tight the anuses get in a government office NOT related directly to law enforcement get when 'a badge' shows up and says in that polite and intimidating manner, "you WILL help me NOW ok sir/madam?"

Nothing is going to save Tesla when the screens start looking as ancient as the first iPhones, and iPads do now. The extra weight in the Audi is a direct result of the effort they put into luxurious materials, and sound deadening.

Rich, similar thing happened to my son. We bought him a car so of course our name was on the title while it was being transferred to him. A couple days later he is in front of his apartment smoking by his car, cop rolls up after a report of "suspicious people". Cop asks if that's his car, he says yes. Cop runs the VIN and it's not his car (still in mom's name) so cop refuses to listen to him saying "that's my mom. call her" Refuses to look at any paperwork in the glove box and immediately impounds it.

@RyanObryaN Or just buy an old one. Extremely reliable, rust free and still quite comfortable. I drive a 2001 A4 (which I will convert to electric) and despite driving 40.000km per year I have almost no repair cost. Everything is just dirt cheap.

I honestly thought I would stop watching your channel after your focus moved away from Tesla. It's clear that the Tesla content is not why I'm here, you are a genuinely funny guy. I love Elon Musk but I wish he would lighten up and understand that social media like yours is a big part of the reason we love Tesla. The i8 wheels need to go though. :-D

14:00 MMI from 2014 cars is actually from 2010... I guess you're still only changing the "Individual" preset (You were selecting Comfort, then pushing the Set Individual)
It has a "Owner Man.", I guess they could have labelled it RTFM 😂
But hey at least it had few features Tesla didn't get until much later (adaptive air suspension) or still don't have (night vision for wildlife)

Yeah, I fast forwarded to the end when he started whining about the settings and not knowing what they mean. FFS it's obvious to an intelligent being. Another thing intelligent beings do is RTFM, and stay away from Muskmobiles and Gayphones.

This audi mmi as you wrote is basically already 2 generations old. New Rs 7, A6, etc use new one and between there has been bit older mmi with virtual cockpit etc in audi cars like A4. I would expect Rich to know this but it sounds like he was expecting some newer mmi for some reason
