In the original commenter's defence in part, Japan is a leading nation in science and technology and due to that, manufactures on a prolific scale and is one of the leaders in the automotive, electronics, aerospace, pharmaceutical, metallurgy/materials processing, electronics and food and drinks industries in addition to musical instruments. And that's just naming a few.
Thank you TeamJ,for building my Guitar. And thank you, that you give me for almost 10 years the opportunity to look each day on ebay for a JEM that I can afford.
I've just become the proud new owner of an RG2570E VSL Prestige and I absolutely LOVE it!! What an amazing instrument - I certainly, without a doubt, see, feel and hear the heart and soul these very craftsmen put into my guitar and as a result, I simply love playing it. Thank you or should I say, domo arigato Ibanez
been playing ibanez basses since i was 16. Never played another brand bass since =). I got the 5 string SR605 bass and and a BTB765. I love the necks on these basses.
I have grown very fawn of them. Soon as possible I’ll be looking for a S Ibanez. Light comfortable and sound great with probably the Best necks made. Plus look beautiful.
Just bought a ibanez prestige rg3550mz straight from team j craft thNk u DCGL it is amazing, I've played prestige models for four years now never any clicking on a dice bomb or any tremelo use r u sure u have a prestige. If ur goin to get an ibanez do not get a regular model only prestige you"ll be glad u did even if you don't have the money u better start saving. Thnks PG for signing my guitar!!!
going to tokyo later this year and going to buy at least 2 used Prestige! my cousin visited a guitar center with new and used ones! the used ones also with floyd rose tremolo was at about 400 dollars and up!
My first serious guitar was a snakeskin coloured Ibanez, stupidly I sold it and regret it to this day. Now I have my Iron Label, I love it. But sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up and wonder about ol' snakey...
Awesome!!! I've been waiting for a video like this, I've seen A Gibson, Dean, and Fender factory videos but not the Superior Ibanez. Since I've recently got a RG1550 Prestige, I wanted to see something along the lines of a factory video and they finally did it. I don't know why I wanted to see it, it just inspires me! :D Thank You Ibanez for your brilliant and talented Craftsman.
i think it is. i have one and i play all kinds of music but the one thing i dont like is the middle pick up i keep hitting when i play and finaly broke and i put the pick up back way in and i love it now
I'm glad to see some floating bridges with ball bearing. Sad, that they aren't produced any more. :( I am a lucky owner of one an S-Series with ZR trem.
I love Ibanez guitars! ive had an RG for almost 12 years now and i must say its been a trusty axe for sure! well built, sounds very good and looks well its an ibanez so for its age at least, it looks killer! only problem ive had with it is the socket `oldschool one that gets loose screws, nuthing major really! my latest guitar isa XPT700 and man do i love it! and i don't use the word love lightly! im planning on adding a new member to the family soon. im sure it will be an ibanez as well!cheers
This Manufactory is Fujigen and produce in order for Hoshino Gakki, the owner of the brand Ibanez the Prestiges, and for Fender and other Companies too. Fujigen has an own brand called FGN Guitars and produce Guitars in the low and middle price segment
are the prestiges fully made made in japan from scratch to finish? Or are different parts made in different countries and only a certain process of the entire production is done in the fujigen factory?
@twolf422 i have the exact same guitar and i love it as well. The only thing that i wanted was 24 frets instead of 22, but it is still a great sounding guitar.
0:33 look at what's in his hand… do you mean to tell me the side inlays go through the fingerboard? i did not know this… that is freaking cool. i always thought they were glued in, maybe 3 mm into it.
I just bought a Ibanez today its a SR505 5 string,I gave it a name i call her "Dark & Lovely" I love the sound of this bass,Thank you guys,Thank you guys,Thank you guys for hand making these great sounding tools
Older S470s had powersound pickups, which were O.K. in my opinion. The newer ones have INF pickups, which are similar to powersounds.. I have an RG with INF pickups. I like the INF pickups. I would recommend the S470 as a great all around guitar. It's a lot of bang for the buck. It's also a good guitar to get acquainted with the entire Ibanez line of guitars, which in my opinion, are the best on the market.
im a guy who has always loved thick necks, but for when i played the super wizard it indeed felt very thin, but after playing it for about 30 minutes i didnt even notice and my hand wasnt fatigued. I do wish they made thicker necks , it would be a nice option
The gio is a good one for beginers I have one a black one that comes whit an aplifier i tink is a very good choise and that guitar never faioled to me now i bought a RG tremolo series Good lock
I only have Korean and Indonesian S and SA guitars but, for me and my needs, they are perfect. Never had rough frets. Excellent fit and finish even at lowest price. Best Regards
I have a RG350MDX, fantastic guitar but the tremolo (Edge III) is very annoying and goes out of tune alot. What are the tremolo's on most RG prestige's (Edge Pro or Edge Zero) like? Also, what was the song at the end of the video?
I have two Ibanez great guitars. One complaint too skinny necks. I have 19.5mm 1fret but hate 17mm necks. I like about 20-22mm but it is real hard to find Ibanez with Floyd Rose. And why always C-profile necks?
@rizakan Not sure what you have been doing to them but generally the only ibanez necks that broke were the original wizards and it was generally user error. Since they stopped making them from one piece of wood....ie the early 90s they havent had issues. I too have two ibanez guitars and have had many other guitars from gibsons, fenders to £50 guitars, ive never had a neck break and have been playing for 19 years.
I have two Ibanez lefties.. But in the end, I Always go back to my Fender Stratocaster, even if in some ways it's a simpler instrument as Ibanez guitars DO feature 24 jumbo frets, Edge tremolo locking system.. But, then again, I rarely bend higher than the 19th fret, and I don't power dive but I use the tremolo for sharp bends (reverse). Ibanez are great guitars, but I just love my USA Lefty Stratocaster more.
i would say ibanez i owned a jackson warrior in early 90s as i as i was saying i got a chanse to by an ibanes prestige guitar i dont know whith one it is but igoona be told.how many wariatons there is and how much.right now i own a ltd.esp 260 ex with emg-hz pick ups. im gonna need help to judge the prestige model and the prise or worth
@Guitar1sti actually ESP guitars now have por quality control, meaning that the quality is inconsistent from guitar to guitar. the guy has a valid point. maybe its you who has no idea?
I wish I knew. I might be because of the more "rock" tone of rosewood compared to the brighter tone of ebony, but could also be because rosewood is cheaper. I love jet black ebony on a fretboard. I've got an old Ibanez Roadstar Steve Lukather model with ebony fretboard - it sounds beautiful.
I play Ibanez guitars since 2000, i love this brand, it's perfect for me. Years ago i bought a NEW Ibanez Prestige RGA427Z DSH. It has arrived me with a huge neck problem... I think that's unacceptable for a 1800€ guitar
@cobraopts7 Well, the ibanez tremolos (even if they are technically licenced floyds) are actually quite excellent (with that i mean the original edge, edge zero, zr2 tremolo, you know, the stuff on expensive guitars) and Mr. Floyd rose himself told that the ibanez edge's are the best licensed floyds around.
I bought an Ibanez RG752FX (in Subterranean Purple Metallic) about two years ago and I love it. I thought I'd miss having a whammy bar, but the extra string and 2 extra frets give me all the playing room I need, and the SPM color is intense. Great guitar!
Ibanez makes finest guitars now leaving gibson and fender wondering how to match the quality and overall sound cosmetic beauty and the necks are farout. Ibanez rules !
@King Brilliant You just made the point....to get close to the Ibanez standard you have to play a Custom shop or Vintage re-issue Gibson or Fender. Nuff said!
look into the musicman jpx. you will be amazed. Its the most versatile guitar ever. The neck is very thin. Very comfortable. ITs the best guitar ive ever owned.
agreed bro i have rg and xiphos models and i put emg 81's in all of them ..but the xiphos is a more quality model it having a 5 piece maple neck and mohogony body and is a neck thru... Metal up!!!
I love they do their job with extreme-caring. They deserve to say they put their soul or passion on what they do. Only blind-minded haters say shit about this just because they simply hate them.
Not the biggest fan of ESP's but I would never talk shit about them. Many friends of mine including a few that play in famous bands use them so they can't be all bad.
Best guitars out there. Most ergonomic and playable. And not as overpriced as the rivals. Japanese quality all the way.
Best choice always.
japan is the best factory in the world..
I always thought it's a country.
Lol
if that so, i would like to put up a factory called japan here in the Philippines
He meaned Fujigen and Sugi - this Guitar-Manufactories are producing Ibanez guitars in Order of Hoshino Gakki, the Company who owns the brand Ibanez
LOVE my PRESTIGE RG 3570!! work of ART!!
Some of the best built instruments in the world - thank you Ibanez! That's why I bought bunch and want to buy some more
Holds and treat the neck like a katana, wonderful work Ibanez!
I absolutely love my Prestige. Best guitar I have ever owned. Thank you Ibanez.
Thank you TeamJ,for building my Guitar.
And thank you, that you give me for almost 10 years the opportunity to look each day on ebay for a JEM that I can afford.

I've seen this video about a dozen times. We need new Ibanez production videos! I'm very interested!
ibanez for sure dude their amazing
been playing ibanez basses since i was 16. Never played another brand bass since =). I got the 5 string SR605 bass and and a BTB765. I love the necks on these basses.
Ibanez is the best in the world and I love it😊
I have grown very fawn of them. Soon as possible I’ll be looking for a S Ibanez. Light comfortable and sound great with probably the Best necks made. Plus look beautiful.
I have two Ibanez Prestige guitars and I love them as much or more as my PRS.
Just bought a ibanez prestige rg3550mz straight from team j craft thNk u DCGL it is amazing, I've played prestige models for four years now never any clicking on a dice bomb or any tremelo use r u sure u have a prestige. Awesome video. I recently got a Prestige 1570. Amazing guitar. Everything is perfect.
going to tokyo later this year and going to buy at least 2 used Prestige!

the used ones also with floyd rose tremolo was at about 400 dollars and up!
Amazing video quality

14 years Later and Japan’s Quality is still Top Notch!!! 🙂
Ibanez is perfect !
amo la ibanez jackson prs
i think it is. i have one and i play all kinds of music but the one thing i dont like is the middle pick up i keep hitting when i play and finaly broke and i put the pick up back way in and i love it now
My S1520FBNT is like a work of art. It's ridiculous how good the neck is.
I have an ibanez RG 550 from 1994 made in Japan, all I did was change the pickups to dimarzio. Love that guitar.
yeah i had the same problem..but now im used to pick between the middle and bridge pickup
I have a few acoustic and electric Ibanezes. They're great. Thank you.
id like to know O.O never seen or heard of that one! and it looks amazing!
I'm glad to see some floating bridges with ball bearing. Sad, that they aren't produced any more. :(
I am a lucky owner of one an S-Series with ZR trem.
Awsome. I want one soo bad.
i love ibanez -....i''ve got a rgt220 and is a supreme guitar!!!!!! ibanez forever!!!!!
Hi,can you do a promo only on the Ibanez full hollowbody guitars in depth and bring back the Ib GB-200,thanks.
I love my Ibanez rg
I love Ibanez guitars! ive had an RG for almost 12 years now and i must say its been a trusty axe for sure! well built, sounds very good and looks well its an ibanez so for its age at least, it looks killer! only problem ive had with it is the socket `oldschool one that gets loose screws, nuthing major really! my latest guitar isa XPT700 and man do i love it! and i don't use the word love lightly! im planning on adding a new member to the family soon. im sure it will be an ibanez as well!cheers

Awesome video!!! All Ibanez prestige guitars are hand made?
i have a ibanez RG3520z and its awesome as hell
Got an Ibanez Prestige from Japan!Gosh...its just the best guitar i have ever played!
i have an black RG and its awsome
are the prestiges fully made made in japan from scratch to finish? Or are different parts made in different countries and only a certain process of the entire production is done in the fujigen factory?
man i want a j craft s series so much.
Ibanez makes the BEST necks, hands down! ive never played any more comfortable neck on bass or guitar then Ibanez guitars!
@twolf422 i have the exact same guitar and i love it as well. The only thing that i wanted was 24 frets instead of 22, but it is still a great sounding guitar.
0:33 look at what's in his hand… do you mean to tell me the side inlays go through the fingerboard? i did not know this… that is freaking cool. i always thought they were glued in, maybe 3 mm into it.
ive honestly really wanted to try one, but HATE the trem bridges. but ill try to try one out sooner or later \m/
I own a SV5470 A BKD Prestige , simply amazing !!
@DJglasgowSon I have a gibson explorer and it hardly ever goes out of tune.
I just bought a Ibanez today its a SR505 5 string,I gave it a name i call her "Dark & Lovely" I love the sound of this bass,Thank you guys,Thank you guys,Thank you guys for hand making these great sounding tools
But 505 is made in indonesia or Korea? If its korea then its good
I cant wait for my APex1 to get here. I just want to feel the difference of a pretstige guitar. I have a basic RG7321 and a Schecter Hellraiser 7.
I just got my SV on Jan!
We love Ibanez. But I love S & SV More. xD
im a guy who has always loved thick necks, but for when i played the super wizard it indeed felt very thin, but after playing it for about 30 minutes i didnt even notice and my hand wasnt fatigued. I do wish they made thicker necks , it would be a nice option
Ibanez builds best guitars of the world
The gio is a good one for beginers I have one a black one that comes whit an aplifier i tink is a very good choise and that guitar never faioled to me now i bought a RG tremolo series Good lock

I like about 20-22mm but it is real hard to find Ibanez with Floyd Rose.
And why always C-profile necks?
It's 2023 and the Prestige basses haven't changed besides the EQ to 9V from 3V. What happened?
@IbanezOfficial do all prestige come with cases?
@rizakan Not sure what you have been doing to them but generally the only ibanez necks that broke were the original wizards and it was generally user error. Since they stopped making them from one piece of wood....ie the early 90s they havent had issues.

i have the exact same guitar but its a little older so its an RG570 and yea i love it i also got an RG1527 prestice and a POS RG120 haha

Ibanez are great guitars, but I just love my USA Lefty Stratocaster more.
@breamski15 The song is Helipad by Andy Timmons, He's a great guitarist if you haven't heard some of his stuff.
WOW !
Ibanez
@Guitar1sti Caparison is japanese I think and their guitars are simply perfect
thanks. i will
true... but im more of a floyd or Ibanez Edge 0 once it comes to any trem, if not then a hard tail, or string through. but ill try them
I recently received an acoustic Isonez guitar. Not Ibanez. Any info? I can't seem to find any info on this guitar.
Do they individually sell the v7,v8 pups?
well trem bridges are what makes it versatile. Try one for sure you`ll be amazed. The bridge doesnt bother at all.
i would say ibanez i owned a jackson warrior in early 90s as i as i was saying i got a chanse to by an ibanes prestige guitar i dont know whith one it is but igoona be told.how many wariatons there is and how much.right now i own a ltd.esp 260 ex with emg-hz pick ups. im gonna need help to judge the prestige model and the prise or worth
@ThisIsACoulsonPerson
The tremolos on the prestiges are the best tremolos ever.

If only they released an extended scale Iceman-style guitar.
Would buy that in a fucking heartbeat!
Cool video for sure. Make sure to check out the PRS factory tour video if you liked this one!
@cobraopts7
What tremolo are you comparing OFR to?
I've never owned an Ibanez before. I really like the AR300RE.
@someguyoketcetc did you ever think or putting a tremol-no on it? or you can trade for an rg1451 or rg1421 if someone is willing
i also noticed one thing i havent seen an Ibanez so far with an Ebony board besides certain jems....anyone know why?
the prestige guitars are great i have the 2004 limited edition rg 1550 and she ROCKS!!!!!!! ~/~
Ibanez rule !!!!!!!!!
I play Ibanez guitars since 2000, i love this brand, it's perfect for me.
Years ago i bought a NEW Ibanez Prestige RGA427Z DSH. It has arrived me with a huge neck problem... I think that's unacceptable for a 1800€ guitar
they changed anyway?
@cobraopts7
Well, the ibanez tremolos (even if they are technically licenced floyds) are actually quite excellent (with that i mean the original edge, edge zero, zr2 tremolo, you know, the stuff on expensive guitars) and Mr. Floyd rose himself told that the ibanez edge's are the best licensed floyds around.
What's the song behind ? Steve Vaï ?
Normally I don't like thin necks, on my guitars. But the Ibanez prestige necks is the best guitar necks, I've ever felt.
Indeed. RG is considerably thinner than the AZ series though. I like both of them :). If i pick up a Gibson after that, i wanna break it 🤣
I bought an Ibanez RG752FX (in Subterranean Purple Metallic) about two years ago and I love it. I thought I'd miss having a whammy bar, but the extra string and 2 extra frets give me all the playing room I need, and the SPM color is intense. Great guitar!
@Guitargawd13 there's a lot of price-difference between those two guitars :P
It looks like inside fujigen factory...is it?
Ibanez makes finest guitars now leaving gibson and fender wondering how to match the quality and overall sound cosmetic beauty and the necks are farout. Ibanez rules !
I disagree, the iron label series by ibanez is terrible. My rg1527z prestige is a dream though, best guitar I own so far. The neck is just perfect.
@King Brilliant no
@King Brilliant You just made the point....to get close to the Ibanez standard you have to play a Custom shop or Vintage re-issue Gibson or Fender. Nuff said!
look into the musicman jpx. you will be amazed. Its the most versatile guitar ever. The neck is very thin. Very comfortable. ITs the best guitar ive ever owned.
Ibanez nice
I actually have a Gio it is a great beginner model, but it does come out of tune about every week. I have moved on the the rg series now though.
agreed bro i have rg and xiphos models and i put emg 81's in all of them ..but the xiphos is a more quality model it having a 5 piece maple neck and mohogony body and is a neck thru... Metal up!!!
I love they do their job with extreme-caring. They deserve to say they put their soul or passion on what they do. Only blind-minded haters say shit about this just because they simply hate them.

This series is fine BUT when is HOSHINO going to bring back the JP-20,and the gb-20 in blonde and sunburst in limited run. Thanks!
I own a GSR 200 Ibanez Bass Guitar! An Entry level Guitar but High Quality instrument!
