I have a giant crochet themed tattoo with a fairy sitting on a ball of yarn with a giant crochet hook in her hands, and it says "hook fast, die warm" around the tattoo. It's my FAVORITE so far!
I love the idea of different dog breeds and colorings! Or animals in general but I'm a dog person. I lost a German Shorthaired Pointer tragically in September and I've had a hard time moving on without her. My sister got me a GSP plushie for Christmas and I started crying. I have it on my nightstand now, so she can watch over me and I can cuddle her when I need it :)
I love you!!!!! I love listening to your voice. You've got such a great personality. Whenever i listen to you i feel like im having a sit down with my friend.
oh my gosh thank you so much, this is the sweetest comment ever! I’m so glad you like the sit down and chat videos (they’re what I love to watch too)!!!🥰🥹
I just found your channel, you are so beautiful! I love your personality and just your entire vibes. I watched this while prepping for my market too. Definitely watching all your videos now! 😊
If you're having a hard time putting on the white backing of safety eyes then I recommend that you cut little slits into the little hole on the backs to make it go on easier. It would help if you also boiled the backs in hot water to make the plastic soften up.
Dude I looked at my phone and saw you signing. Got ecstatic! I’m an interpreter at my church and omg I love to see ASL randomly 😂. Ok back to the video while I cook.
Hey, I totally agree with you putting in safety eyes is so annoying. That’s why I have a hot glue gun instead of putting in the safety eyes well I’m making the project I finished the project and then I hot glue the eyes in
Great video!! The tool you are lookin gift is called a safety Eye Jig. Some people call it a Safety Eye Gizmo. You can type either into Etsy to find some cute ones! I have one tattoo. A Blue Morph butterfly on the top of my foot. I have had multiple pets, but I currently have 2 Chinese Crested dogs (Betty and Vivi), an American Bulldog named Bruno, a Labradoodle named Reggie, 5 cats (Atticus, Ansel Jules, Bella and Harry), 3 aquatic frogs and a Bearded Dragon named Abner. I use scissors to cut my yarn. Sometimes I’ll rip if I’m using a plush Blanket yarn.
The "counting stitches" part, i mark the first stitch of row & last stitch of the last row and count by 5s. If i feel like im going to mess up count as the project goes, ill mark every 5 to 10 stitches or "the trouble areas" lol. If i count any less or more than 5 or 10, brain shuts off
Just found your channel today - this was so much fun! Seeing all of these cute plushies makes me want to get back into making amigurumi! I hope the market went well!
Found your page in my recommended, and in the first minute and a half was already hooked, but then I also noticed all the spirited away and ghibli plushies and it was an instant subscribe and like for sure after that
Omg what a coincidence i have a boston terrier (similar to buldogs) and her name js also trixie! She will be turning 5 this june. Crazy how fast time goes by
I love seeing your longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg vlogs because you don't have to clickk on and off of videos!!!😁
For my keychains, I bought two tall pegboard frames off of Facebook Marketplace and I'm going to drill some hinges on the top to make it into an A-frame type stand. I'm gonna sand and paint them to be pretty, and I bought a few different pegboard accessories like shelves and baskets, and I have a bunch of hooks to hang stuff on too
Hi, I use the plier thingy that I got in a packet of studs, (like you put on shirts instead of buttons). When you press them together the hole on the clamp bit fits the back of most eyes. I use these because I have tendon contraction in my hands.
Also, I count double 1, double 2, single 1, single 2, 3, 4, 5, double 1, double 2, etc. because if I count the singe 1 or single 2 as just 1 or 2, I forget kind of easily if it’s the single or double and I have to go back and check. So now I just include both in my process and Andy thing above 2 I can count regular since there’s no overlap
Cameron’s dog’s name is Alice.😊 I don’t make plushies and I’m mostly a knitter, but I count every stitch. Most of the patterns I use will say how many stitches there should be at the end of row/round. I’m physically disabled so I don’t have the hand strength to rip my yarn. I can only rip “yarn” if it’s like a roving type of yarn and even then it has to be spread apart some before I can rip it. I’m pro-scissors. I have multiple pairs. I never do silly fun signs. I don’t think they they’d fit my vibe. I knit/crochet practical household stuff.
thank you I couldn’t remember Alice’s name for the life of me! Yeah I think ripping only works with plush yarn, my hands would die trying to rip cotton or acrylic!
this might be weird but im here if you ever want a fellow crocheter to practice asl with! im in my final stretch of getting my interpreting certification!
I have several tattoos, a sunflower tattoo on my wrist with “Good heart, good soul both been in bad hands” under it, my other wrist says “pura vida”, my forearm has a bluebird tattoo in memory of my grandma, the back of my arm says “To infinity” with Saturn, which is a matching tattoo with my sister. I have a dream catcher on my upper arm, and a deer with flowers on my shoulder which is a tattoo for my parents, and my most recent one is my son’s name on my collarbone 😊
I count, but I count weird hahaha. When I'm making amigurumi and the row is saying "(2 sc, inc), x6 times", I'll say "one, two, DOOT, one, two, DOOT" and say DOOT loudly so I remember that I increased or deceased hahaha
@@miss.a.crochet I know hahaha it's one of those things where I did it around other people and they looked at me weird and I went "oh shit this isn't a normal thing to do"
Not a really fair chalenge, you were exhausted after all the exams! Congrats on finishing them 😊 I do have a tattoo, got it when I was 19. The chinese sign for raven on my hip. I was a broody goth 😄 We don't have pets anymore. Our hamster died in september and it is always soooo hard! The next pet might be someting tha lives a bit longer. But I am not sure yet. Stress is poison for my fibro and my anxiety is on high whenever our little furry friends got sick. Loved to see your pets! Such cuties 🥰 If you find a tool to help with the safety eyes, please share! I want one too! My hands are a bit weak from time to time so I struggle to snap them on. Specialy the little ones. I cut my yarn, cause I don't like crocheting with fluffy yarn. Ripping cotton is not fun 😅 I count my stitches 1,2,3,4,5 etc. Mostly whenever I do increases or decreases. But I don't watch anything except the video tutorial while doing that. While knitting or crocheting something I don't have to count I like watching youtube or films for the hundreth time 😆I always have a project on hand for bad days, usualy a simple blanket that is a WIP for a year or two. Hope your market went well! Merry christmas 💞
Thank you so much! I’m sorry to hear about your hamster, they truly become a part of the family!! My son popped into my room as I was watching your video and immediately said: "I want that robot!" Whatever it is behind you on the top shelf on the left, robot or whatever else, could you please, please, share the pattern! ❤🙏
Being a fellow Minnesotan I have to ask. What do you think of our new flag? Does it remind you of water and the northern lights as described? I think it is pretty, but not necessarily Minnesota.
I like the flag… I had a conversation with my ceramics professor (a native Hawaiian) and he expressed that he believes we should not have changed the flag. the Native American in the flag is just on a horse, and he feels that we are trying to erase the way we treated native americans in Minnesota/the US by getting rid of these flags and things… frankly I kind of agree but I also understand why it could be changed, especially if the designer of the original flag included the Native American with bad intentions.
I don’t know why it will not let me comment on your video. I have been trying to post for 8 hrs now! Let’s see if I can comment if I don’t answer your questions.

The safety eye jig is super convenient!
I definitely cut my yarn, my hands would scream if I tried to break it.
thank you! I could not think of what they were called haha
If you're having a hard time putting on the white backing of safety eyes then I recommend that you cut little slits into the little hole on the backs to make it go on easier. It would help if you also boiled the backs in hot water to make the plastic soften up.
oh! I have heard about the boiling technique before! Does this impact their durability/removability?
The problem with cutting the backs or otherwise is that you compromise the "safety" part of the safety eyes.
Could also just use a pen cap or something that's small enough to fit on the backing but has a hole in it to push it down.
Dude I looked at my phone and saw you signing. Got ecstatic! I’m an interpreter at my church and omg I love to see ASL randomly 😂. Ok back to the video while I cook.

That’s interesting. I do both when counting my stitches and crocheting.
If I’m doing rows of single crochet I’ll count 1,2,3,4 etc but if it’s rows of inc or dec i’m counting the pattern
