just killed him, heres a few tips: 1- he's weak to holy damage in his first phase 2- dont summon the npc allies, his health increases when you do and they're not all that effective 3- if miquella grabs you in the second phase you can use miquella's great rune to negate the effects, so if you get grabbed again you dont turn into a tier 3 sub 4-the best way to dodge the light rays in his second phase that follow his attacks is to dodge into him or possibly behind him,good for setting up a heavy aow or spell hit once he ends his combo hope it helps, i went through all stages of grief for this information
one simple advice. you're wasting a lot of windows because you're going for charged heavies. just swing once and dodge between his combos. dont get too greedy with the swings, you'll have to figure out the timing of it. will cut the fight time but a lot.
This boss is what made me quit this game altogether. It was the last straw after a mound of garbage. I’m gonna beat him then I’m uninstalling this game cause it’s just not fun anymore
The phantom slashes don't deal mich damage, they are there to make you panic roll and get caught by the actual attack and the explosion after. Best to run right and dodge the final one. Also do remember that the gravity one has 4 phantom slashes while the normal only has 3 and is slower.
I think that was one of the two attacks that just simply ignore i frames. I'm not sure, tho. One of them is the stomp, and another is the downward slam with a slow wind up. Still stupid outcome😂😂
And the worst thing is that is the attack chain that gives you at least two free r1's afterwards with average speed weapon ( i managed to sneak in 3 r1 chain with milady ) or a double flask drink. I had many moments like that, died over 500 times to him. But keep at it, if you got once this low, you can do it again. Every boss run you get a little bit better, you just have to "work the boss" to the end. :D
when he explodes everything you can literally 1. press endure 2. block the explosion; considering it's a bigass weapon the initial thing would deal like 100 damage this is not an impossible boss and you can literally learn him in entirety and he's barely rng or unreadable also in the end you had 7 estus and you could max out your hp because you had to deal one hit I understand panic and all but there's billion ways to approach this boss
