Dutch defense sounds like a chess move lol
Hey Arseniy, haha, it does sound like a strategic chess move! The Dutch defense is what you get when you combine Boxing punching power & foot speed with Muay Thai kicking power & clinching creating a highly effective fighting style. Thanks for watching and commenting! Have you ever tried Dutch Kickboxing? 🤔
My favorite fighter is Gegard Mousasi, I train kickboxing and I like his Dutch style.
That’s awesome! Gegard Mousasi is a beast, and his Dutch kickboxing style is definitely something to admire. Keep training hard! 💪🥊 and thanks for watching and commenting
Which boxing? Which thai style? There are many... not all are the same...
Hi Stephanie, great question!
You’re right there are so many “Muay Femur, Muay Mat, Muay Khao, Muay Sok, Muay Tae & more”.
I am talking about Western boxing and traditional Muay Thai.
By traditional Muay Thai, I mean the classic style of Muay Thai that emphasizes powerful strikes with all parts of the body (fists, elbows, knees, and shins), clinch work, and a strong, balanced stance. It's the style commonly practiced and taught in Thailand.
I am sure you already know this which is why you’re asking which one.
The reality is that Dutch Kickboxing is a blend of both Boxing and Muay Thai.
Thanks for watching and commenting 🥊
This is Steve fox stance from Tekken
Nice! Steve Fox's stance from Tekken does look similar. It's always fun to see how they incorporate real-world fighting techniques. Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Same stance that bum had when Poatan knocked him out... 🤔
Thanks for your comment. As an 8-time world champion, I’ve seen firsthand how every stance and style, including the Dutch 50/50, has its place and strengths in the ring. It’s about mastering and adapting techniques to suit individual fighters and situations. The Dutch style has proven itself time and again, and it’s about how well you use it that matters. Appreciate the conversation!
Nice,I train with high level fighters and will try
Thanks, Eug! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
As you may already know the Dutch kickboxing style is known for its aggressive and high-paced combinations.
Trying something new against experienced opponents can be challenging, but it’s also one of the best ways to learn and improve.
Let us know how it goes when you try out the Dutch style techniques! Keep up the great work.
It's not better cause no ones doing it,and you need to train a lot more before U teach, practice,ur about a third of the way there
Hey Eug, I appreciate your thoughts. As an 8 time world champion across Pro Boxing, Pro Kickboxing and even karate. I’ve found that the Dutch style offers significant strategic advantages. It’s not about popularity; it’s about effectiveness. Continuous training is key, and I’m dedicated to constantly improving and sharing what works at the highest levels of competition. Thanks for your input!
