The “inja” comment refers to SATC ep (S6E10) where Samantha tries to get membership to the SoHo house (so she can use the pool) and is turned away but she finds a membership card for Annabelle bronstein in the bathroom and pretends to be her and she gets caught and she’s told AB is British so she does a shitty accent and says she’s from “Inja” (India).
I’m a bit aggravated that Carrie invited Smoke and other significant others who just barely got there but not Steve whom she has known for over 20 years, she went to his wedding, her ex-fiancée was his business partner etc etc etc.

Proof positive that Carrie is a 60 some year old teenager with a severe case of arrested development.. And isn't this like the FIRST MOVIE all over again??? Big didn't commit they had to sell the palatial apartment, Miranda had to help Carrie get her apartment back and Carrie was put in a financial hole as she had to pay the INFLATED price? I think Aiden played this VERY well.. even if unintentionally! And is the scene with Carrie and her p***y.. I mean, cat.. a foreshadowing of what is to come.. crazy cat lady?

Michael Patrick King did an interview in The Hollywood Reporter. In it, he stated that he brought Aidan back to hurt Carrie, a vindication of sorts because of how she hurt him, and how viewers thought she broke his heart. He said that was Aidan's purpose in Season 2 the whole time. That was so stupid. The wrtiers are so detached from reality and have no clue what the watchers want. Because for the people who liked Carrie and Aidan together, the show just messed that up. They really could've left Aidan out if they weren't even going to be together, and focused on something else they could do with the season.
That was not a smart decision at all. They keep trying to pull in the original show in the worst way. We're here for the girls, we would love Carrie with a new guy where we could watch their relationship grow and we could become invested in their relationship the way we did back in the day.

Listen, when Aiden asked for more time... I literally said "five years" out loud...because I was joking. But when Carrie said, "That's six years!" And then Aiden responds with, "Wyatt's birthday is next week, so it's only 5 years." I was stunned 😲 FIVE YEARS, sir? Hunh? Sounded like game to me, too, Elle Bee. Either that, or he was going to serve prison time. After he told Carrie he couldn't visit her and that she also can't visit him, it just came off as suspicious. This might be the most unromantic season finale I've ever seen. So, he loves her so much, he wants them to stay away from each other for 5 years...until his 14 year old is out of his teens. Ridiculous.
Ok ok couple things as a parent: 1 - I love my kids but if I had the kind of money these folks have I’d hire help tomorrow morning. 2 - it’s totally reasonable that Aiden would want to be near his kids even when they were with their mom. I don’t think they needed to make some excuse like “she’s never around”. I would want to be close by just to focus my attention and be there in case they needed me. Also this might be a stretch but it feels out of character for Aiden to marry someone who would later run off and travel the world with her boyfriend and leave her kids home. But they’re just inventing characters in this series at this point so 🫠
Carrie is a terrible pet owner - that thing is a kitten, and she's flying off to Greece? I just imagine a bag of cat food on the floor of the kitchen and the faucet left running while she's out of town. I fear for that cat's life! Season 3 would only be worth it if Samantha comes back again, she was FABULOUS and we need to see her again! Miscarriage is so common too.. it was so hard to watch for me personally as a plot without any empathy or character emotions reflecting anything close to who have actually experienced it. Like: “oh thank goodness… whoops now we feel guilty”. Honestly so bad. What was the point of this storyline? Remember when Charlotte lost her baby? Not saying it has to be the same-they are different people. But for a serious real topic we as women face, it got none of the screen time it deserved and was half assed imo-no quarter assed. Not even a full cheek. It felt insulting. Miscarriage is never just a convenience, even if you weren’t planning a pregnancy. It effects you on a deep level emotionally as a loss or grievance. I don’t know… doesn’t it? It’s something hard to face. The blood.. the physical sickness you feel. Idk. I’m so annoyed at this plot.

On the other hand Kim comes off bitter and angry but I haven’t heard a real explanation of why she’s so upset with SJP. Michael Patrick King did an interview in The Hollywood Reporter. In it, he stated that he brought Aidan back to hurt Carrie, a vindication of sorts because of how she hurt him, and how viewers thought she broke his heart. He said that was Aidan's purpose in Season 2 the whole time. That was so stupid. The wrtiers are so detached from reality and have no clue what the watchers want. Because for the people who liked Carrie and Aidan together, the show just messed that up. They really could've left Aidan out if they weren't even going to be together, and focused on something else they could do with the season.
That was not a smart decision at all. They keep trying to pull in the original show in the worst way. We're here for the girls, we would love Carrie with a new guy where we could watch their relationship grow and we could become invested in their relationship the way we did back in the day.

Nya isn't thrown away, but they made it seem like without her man she had no one to celebrate her or to celebrate with...nah. 37:05 That very scenario happened to me. My 2nd baby was to young to have a other. I did not want to have another one for at least a year. Eventually I came around and was excited. Miscarried one the 1st day of my fourth month. I totally related to the situation.

Ok ok couple things as a parent:
1 - I love my kids but if I had the kind of money these folks have I’d hire help tomorrow morning.
2 - it’s totally reasonable that Aiden would want to be near his kids even when they were with their mom. I don’t think they needed to make some excuse like “she’s never around”. I would want to be close by just to focus my attention and be there in case they needed me. Also this might be a stretch but it feels out of character for Aiden to marry someone who would later run off and travel the world with her boyfriend and leave her kids home. But they’re just inventing characters in this series at this point so 🫠

I just imagine a bag of cat food on the floor of the kitchen and the faucet left running while she's out of town. I fear for that cat's life! Season 3 would only be worth it if Samantha comes back again, she was FABULOUS and we need to see her again! She just needs to bury the hatchet with SJP and collect that paycheck so she can make the fans happy!

Miscarriage is so common too.. it was so hard to watch for me personally as a plot without any empathy or character emotions reflecting anything close to who have actually experienced it. Like: “oh thank goodness… whoops now we feel guilty”. Honestly so bad. What was the point of this storyline? Remember when Charlotte lost her baby? Not saying it has to be the same-they are different people. But for a serious real topic we as women face, it got none of the screen time it deserved and was half assed imo-no quarter assed. Not even a full cheek. It felt insulting. Miscarriage is never just a convenience, even if you weren’t planning a pregnancy. It effects you on a deep level emotionally as a loss or grievance. I don’t know… doesn’t it? It’s something hard to face. The blood.. the physical sickness you feel. Idk. I’m so annoyed at this plot.
