Beretta's done this before, with these EXACT same shotguns. Beretta A400 shotgun has the blink system, highly regarded but expensive. Beretta releases the less expensive A300, equally reliable, no blink system, but still very highly regarded. The 1301 is literally the A400 in tactical wear, and the A300 Patrol is the same as the A300 ultima but in tactical wear.
Well done. Very nice. This is an option for me in near future. I was already intending to get a Mossberg 940 but when Beretta released this U.S.A. made option it has drawn my attention. If I bought today I believe I would go with Mossberg but this Beretta is going to provide folk with a fantastic quality home defense shotgun.
I also love that loading gate over my 1301, it almost ruins me shooting it because I curse the 1301 on reloads everytime now because the patrol is so much friendly fow quad loads.
Good vid and accurate. I was able to obtain mine and love its action! It has not once failed and patterns are easily defined. Well worth the money and a great savings over its more expensive brother.
@Cramer Long , this is my 1st shotgun and it's faster than I can shoot, but I'm not that fast, either. The vids I've seen from those who are fast it seems to shoot just fine (fast) without hiccups, so there's that.
@@markej4801 Friends of mine still active in the comp world call this 300 . Lipstick on a pig . I am just repeating . I shot competition until around age 50 . Going to compete but not for anything but fun. I am concerned I will outrun this gun once I get going again. Keep in mind in my day there wasn't really 3 gun like now . There sure weren't semi auto shotguns that were reliable.
@@cramerlong2276 Sorry for your losses over the years. Can you outrun it? That could be, I'm no competitive shooter. If you are that into competition, why wouldn't you go for its bigger brother, the 1301 Competition? It would seem to me the better choice for something like that.
@@markej4801 Because I have talked to people that are in know . Who are telling me the Mossberg 940 gas system is simple technology . Works as well -Easier to clean -less parts etc. That can be confirmed watching both guns stripped in videos . Outrunning the gun isn't how fast you can pull the trigger . It's how fast you can get back on target . Which is learning how to balance against the recoil . Something I have 30 years of practice doing / Also IMO the 1301 while really nice . Right off requires me a tall person with longer arms . To spend money on a stock . Not to mention if you are playing 3 gun . That shotgun is going to get all beat up . Thrown around etc.
I have both and the Mossberg was my favorite behind the more expensive 1301 but this patrol with it's loading gate enlarged man the A300 patrol is now my favorite by far but I'm not selling the Mossberg. You won't regret getting the Beretta.
@@jtaylorb88 Problem for me is I've heard like in the video it won't cycle 1oz the Mossberg does . I was going to buy one for my boy and still may . He's only 11 though . i Ounce is perfect for that age . If I knew the Mossberg would hold up I'd go that route .
Nice presentation…..well done

Quality video. This is my new favorite shotgun.
Great review. Concise, hit the important points and impressions very helpful
A great review. I am seriously considering buying this shotgun as my first semi-automatic shotgun.
I've had mine for nearly a month. No regrets
Me too. Me too.
Fantastic shotgun! And what value!

Solid video... thank you. Bummed you all don't have it in stock. I had to buy it from a competitor. I'm excited to put it through the places!
gun of the year probably
Good review. Thx

That tiger stripe…
I understand the bolt and chamber are not chromed as they are on the 1301. It wouldn’t matter to me much, as I don’t mind cleaning guns.
How is the finish holding up? Is that cerakote or hydro dipping?
Great review. What would be your choice between the Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol and the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical?
I just got this gun today. It is incredible. Truly amazing. A300 ultimate patrol. Don’t look elsewhere
Awesome. Enjoy it!

@@cramerlong2276 How about a single shot .410 to start with?
Quick question can I put a one piece stock with a pistol grip on the Beretta A300
Can the a300 handguard/forearm grip be switched over to fit on the 1301
Where did you get the pic rail adapter for the holosun?
It is from an older version of the 507C that came with the pic adapter. When just happened to have it on hand.
🤙🏽
I take offense to the jerryrigged comment... :-)
🤣🤣🤣
Do layaway? Lol
Beretta doesn’t make enough of their tactical shotguns to meet the demand. You’ll never find them in stock, so might as well buy a Mossberg
Kurt Simmons You must not be looking in the right places . I found all kinds of them 300 and 1301
The tiger stripe, nope. I've had offers of $500 over retail for mine. Almost tempted but naw I love it too much.
@@jtaylorb88 Yep I here you . I've had people offer me that much and more to sell my Staccato Cs . Personally I like teh Mossberg better . JMO
@@jtaylorb88.....love that tiger stripe. How is it applied? Hydrodipped? The tiger stripe ones are scarce even now...
@@rickthompson1422 yes it looks like it's hydro dipped. It came with a caution if you use the included Velcro it will most likely ruin the finish.
Save your money get a Remington Versa Max Competition Tactical or Beretta 1301 Comp Pro...you never look back!!!
The a300 is a nice gun.
It's a Beretta video, troll much?
