This doesn’t work on my Buick and code was 512 .. I’m not sure if you put the key in ignition and press the remote or what to do after punching in the codes
I just got one of these today and it's working perfectly. If anyone has questions about the unlock code or anything just ask. I will also be uploading a video of the entire (english) manual so anyone can see what codes and stuff they need.
@@chillkiwi2703 Unfortunately this does not work with push to start vehicles. From what I've read and tried so far, it seems to only be able to lock/unlock, open trunks, work with panic mode (aka turn the alarm on/off) and open/close van doors. It also should work with some remote start vehicles but so far that feature doesn't seem to work on the ones I've tried. For push to start vehicles the remote is a little different because it's also a proximity type of key which almost always would need to be from the dealership with programming from them as well for your specific vehicle. Aftermarket push to start might work, but would require either a replacement key from the company or a universal proximity key with specific programming for your vehicle. Another thing to note as well is you will most likely need the original (or replacement from dealership) proximity key present before you can add more remotes.
@@julianbernon6839 So long as you've had the original remote connected at some point, it should be able to activate and connect to your car. So long as you follow the instructions it should act the exact same as the original remote. If the original key fob just needs a new battery they can be replaced quickly and easily, you can also try to reprogram the original fob and connect it the same way as the universal remote. There are also plenty of videos for each car on how to add remotes.
Can you upload the Universal car remote, the classic version? I want to know how they do that on classic vehicles like the ones from 1989 to 2002 vehicles.
I have 2001 Dodge Durango SLT and no working remotes. I am currently using my key to lock and unlock my doors. Will this universal remote work for me being that i do not have any working remotes at the moment? Please explain. Thanks!
Hello. I am trying to program a brand new replacement key fob for my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. As mentioned the key fob is brand new, with brand new working batteries. I have followed/repeated the entire insert key, hold down unlock button, turn ignition off/on twice, wait for the lock to cycle, press and hold lock/unlock on fob simultaneously. But the lock never cycles therefore the Tahoe never enters programming mode. As a side note, I know that the locks are capable of cycling. Because when I pull and hold the bright light lever while cycling the key twice to program my desired door lock/unlock sequence the locks will actually cycle, the same way that they should when programming the key fobs. Can you please share some troubleshooting steps that might help me diagnose why my Tahoe won't enter programming mode so that I can program my new key fobs? Thank you.
How i paired it with my 2001 chevy silverado 1500 was to; make sure all doors are closed, make sure all doors are unlocked, FIRST hold down unlock button on drivers side, put key into ignition and turn it to run position and back to off, then to run and back to off and then release the unlock button, after that it should lock and unlock, after that you'll have 30 seconds to pair the remote, to pair it hold down both the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for 15-20 seconds and it should lock and unlock, next remove the key then make sure it works. If you're running into issues with entering pairing mode you can try disconnecting the negative battery terminal and reconnecting it after 30 seconds then try everything again (i had to do that) also YOU NEED TO DO THE SEQUENCE WITHIN 20 SECONDS TO ENTER PAIRING MODE ON YOUR CAR, AFTER YOU ENTER PAIRING MODE YOU HAVE 30 SECONDS TO PAIR ALL THE REMOTES OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALL AGAIN. So anyway goodluck 👍
Can you plz make a video on how u connected it I have a 07 Tahoe Nd it’s not going to programming mode for me I did the code for the key Nd all I even put set the Tahoe to relearn key but the thing is I don’t have the original key. So is there still a way I can connect it
I have a 2004 Lincoln aviator. But I don't have any original remotes just the key. Can I still program this universal remote to it? Let me know I'm very interested on your remote.
@@JustanotherMerikan i had bought a lincoln aviator that only came with one key no remotes. I was able to find the remote on ebay that will work for the Lincoln and it's easy to program them both. I think i payed for the pair $20 they both look like originals and works perfectly
If you do not have the instructions that came with the universal key fob you can go to their website and put in your year make and model of your car and it will give you the step by step instructions on how to set it up
Worked well on my 2008 impala. Just make sure you read the instructions slowly. Saves a lot of time.
Will this work with an aftermarket remote starter and the regular door unlock on the same remote?
What is the length of the remote start on this?
