I just recently found your channel and went back and watched all your videos. Dude Thank You for restoring History. Your work is exceptional and meticulous. And whats even more impressive is the fact your doing this by yourself. I wish you great success in your en devours. By the way when your installing each panel and hear the metal being bolted onto metal is music to my ears ! Not like the plastic cars of today. Thanks
Are you afraid of Corona, or do you have it? Please take plenty, plenty of vitamin C if you have it. My heart goes out to you and your loved ones. I wish I could have done more to help, but being from another country ... However a positive attitude like you seem to have goes a long way in beating this, yet another evil invention, of the world order.
@@petersonrestorations Yeah man, great channel. Since I'm new here, and you may have already answered these questions, but can I ask, how many of these Mustangs have you built? Also, if you don't previously have a VIN number and you need to get a new VIN, is this car still registered as a 1965? Lastly, do you only do Mustangs / Fords? Thanks
Very nice work. Love to see these cars come together correctly. I am in the middle of body work on a 66 vert. I am learning the hard way that lining up panel gaps on these old cars can be a PIA ! You make it look too easy but I know it's not. How long you been doing this and do you pretty much stick to Mustangs ?
Very nice. On my 66 coupe, I have an ugly 3/4-inch gap between my headlight assemblies and the corners of my hood. I have fought the hood alignment and messed with the headlight assemblies to no avail. Someone told me you can gently bend the assemblies by putting them on a board and pressing on the edges, but I don't want to crack the paint.
Hi, all the work you do is awesome ! I'm working on a 68 fastback and need a few sheet metal pieces your parts seem to fit very well. I'm in Ohio and was wondering where you get your sheet metal from and If there is a certain brand from the company you get them from you ask for ? Sorry if this is a question you get often. Keep the great videos coming ! Thanks
love your work. I live in the UAE and I would like to build a 68 fastback over here. At a rough guess what would you think I would pay for all the parts, a full build, crate motor all the panels, rubbers, harness the whole trip? Just a rough idea please. I do not have a doner car. I would like to buy all the parts and ship it to the UAE and build. I have a fully equipped body shop. Thanks Tony
@@petersonrestorations Are there other cars that can be bought in metal "kit" form like these? I am thinking of a German classic, the BMW E30 or the E30 M3?
You wouldn't happen to have a '65-'66 headlight bezel/fender extension that you'd consider tossing out, maybe even a cracked one? I've got a '65 fastback grille headlight buckets etc. set up to hang from my wall but am missing one of the bezels, can you help me out?
Looks like a Shelby GT350R (race) front lower valance. Those were very rare cars, like thirty some built for competition. You might want to look up some photos and see if it's something you'd be interested in doing to yours. They looked really tough.

I cannot think of a more satisfying job in the whole world then building a classic car by had. It’s even satisfying to watch.
Great job Ben always a pleasure to watch your channel
Another good progress video, it's always cool to see the daily progress!
Nice job Ben!
I looks incredible Ben. I would dare to say it's even better than an original shell. Nice job sir.
Thank you!
That’s the coolest thing I’ve seen on UA-cam this year! Keep the videos coming! We need to share this with people. Help you get your number up!
That's going to be a beautiful car when it's finished .
Great job 👍
Just wanted to thank you for making content, it keeps me sane! I'm stuck in doors due to virus

Do you ever use lasers to check alignments from front to back?

Only mustangs and about 14 years
Damn this poster knows mustangs!
Thank u this is exactly what I love to see u building it and we can watch how u do it thanks
VIN? How does that work? What are the rules?
Every state is different I believe, up to the new buyer on this one

Drivers fender extension and hood don't line up...
Needs fiberglass work to get it right
How long does it take you to assemble one from start to finish?
Usually a shell in 3 weeks
I feel your pain! I build bronco's at " Shannon's bronco's" every part is different! How, I don't know?
Still blows my mind
Front drivers side extension looked a little longer than hood. Is that an issue?
Just need to add fiberglass to the end of the hood to match
You get an A+

You give nre meaning yo "hand built". Good job Sir
It's even more incredible when you consider that that car started as a few sheet metal pieces from cj's! And now it's THAT! 😂
Do you only build shells, or do you build turn key cars? If you do a turn key 65/66 fastback, what would the cost be for a stock reproduction? Thanks!
I wish I could see what happens to her when the next owner takes over. Guess I'll have to to settle for watching some amazing metal work!
I'll build one of these sooner or later
@@petersonrestorations We are waiting in eager anticipation to see that. Which motor do you intend to put in it?

Could you build a body around a Roadster shop Fast Track frame and add mini tubs?
Most definitely is doable
What's the cost of a shell?

Not right now I dont, only have ones I'll use currently
I had sent you an email regarding vin usage in your process. I know you’re busy but when you get a chance....
Can you re send please?

This one will be sold as a shell, wont get to finish this one unfortunately
What would it cost for this just asking
19,500
How much
19,500
Sorry I should have checked before hitting comment. What I meant to say is you give new meaning to hand built.
💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
You say reproduction. I say counterfeit.
