Great content, interesting enough with your recent videos I'm currently on a coco/perlite run in 7/10 gallon containers outdoors. Your information is greatly helpful in my goals. Appreciated.
Im not trying to be a contrarian and i definitely think a lot of the comments ahve good advice but ive also used the same 3 5 gallon containers with the same coir for years at this point and I only flush the last 2 weeks. I dont check ph, ppm, i dont adjust anything I just give it jacks 3-2-1 and myco with some molasses once a week and I get excellent results
And always test your runoff and adjust your feed as needed to what the plant and runoff is telling you. Tends to build up EC and PPM over time so flush when runoff readings get to high.
Interesting I just did a run on 75% coco 25% perlite and never once had to check EC other than the feed I use. Plants essentially grew to perfection with zero deficiencies, tested one strain at 24.5% thca, yielded 28 oz in a 7gal container. Feed 2x per week, thoroughly let the water start to runoff, then supplement ro water between feeds. Works like a charm with a mix of synthetic 75% synthetic nutes and 25% organic roughly.
I wanted to do a science experiment..! do you think I could grow cannabis in coffee grounds only or something like 90% coffee and 10% volcanic soil mix 🤔..any thoughts..helpful videos though..
I worry about mixing additives to the mix of normal nutrients. If properly dosed can you for instance mix everything in one or would you take a break from nute's and just mix in some cal mag for a watering or flush? I hate mixing in additives to it, nothings died or gotten sick, once from a multi total(that stuff i'm sure is Worcestershire sauce) overdose. I also have very hard water at around 6.8 ph and doesn't that mean it has a lot of cal/mag ect...? anything to look out for with that?
One thing this guy says nothing about is if you buy the cheaper coco it's going to have gnats in it. You cannot go cheap with coco, you have to buy the high end stuff that's been buffered and washed.
Remove as many roots as possible and give it a good rinse. Disease pressure will be increased and some of the properties may change so good luck and take notes so you know how it behaves the second time using.
Very much appreciate the string of content you're releasing these days, particularly the IPM subject
Glad to hear you are liking the new content!
Thank you for the amazing content Mr DeBacco. Thanks to you our plants are healthy and happy. Keep up the good work, we all appreciate it!

The myco w mollases once a week the jacks is on a timer depending how thirsty they get
Just think how productive your plants could be if you collected some data...
I do 60% Coco Coir, with biochar, earthworm castings, and bone meal. Decent results in the winter plus fall . However summertime still observing.
Any changes seen with the seasons so far?
Awesome for no pests!
Another bonus!

Thanks for adding this.
Don’t flush lesson u nutrients next feeding unless your ec is above a 5 I would only flush last two weeks
Great video as usual! Doesn't coir also hold onto K?
It does, but often what is added by growers is enough, Ca needs extra feedings compared to other substrates.
Mushrooms love it
Thanks for sharing!
I don't know if you know this but Botanicare is owned by Bayer/ Monsanto.
Agriculture/Pharmaceutical Powerhouse.
Been using this for years with gaia green and worm castings.
Thanks for sharing..
Another superb video, very high on the useful scale. Keep it up!
Glad you liked it be sure to share the content with others!
Can we use coco peat for outdoor grow bags too?
Yes
Yes, just requires frequent feeding.

Should mix this with something else as it will hold a lot of water.

Do a jar test to see if there is a reaction before giving to the plants.
Coco+vermiculite=win
Thanks for sharing.
can you mix coco 50/50 with soil`?
Yes, many do to try and get the benefit of both.
I charge my plants during flower with powder baby milk it has everything for life
What dilution rate?
Quarter cup per gallon

I totally flush new coco then charge it with double strength CalMag and normal strength A+B nutes and growth is rapid.
Great suggestion.
Anyone have thoughts/advice on reusing coco

@@DeBaccoUniversity Appreciate the reply and content my friend
Milk has calcium magnesium and iron it’s cheap and makes fat buds during flower
...What percentage is plant available? Ex. Iron nails have iron, but the plants can not use it.
Uptake 1 to two days gas house in Cali uses milk he did a video
A channel called balcony garden web has info
