Others want their debts forgiven because they don’t want to cut back on wasteful spending and pay it off.

Most could not work in the environment this woman did. If she was pulling 10k contracts she was working in the crappiest most dangerous situations. As a fellow nurse I applaud her.

My brother who's also a nurse BANKED during these pandemic. Worked in Boston, navada and now California. He was making like 15k a week. His wife was like this is the only time I'm letting you leave me with the kids for months🤣 Mind blowing.
I am curious as to the hour rate normal and how many over time hours? When I was young, I did 70-80 hours/wk extended, perhaps more without the stress of a difficult commute.
I was aware that a temp nurse can get a better rate than a permanent position, more so when there is a desperate demand
Yea so let's assume a nurse makes $60/hr.
At regular wage for 40hrs, that is $2400/wk.
Assuming 1.5x pay for 4hrs of OT (between work hrs 8-12), that is another $1800/wk.
Assuming 2x pay for anything over 12hrs per day, working another 20hrs is another $2400.
So that's $6,600/wk, assuming 80hrs a week worked over 5days... Those are 16hr days. Not saying impossible, just seems far fetched.
@@morgancornwall3254 they also have double overtime when facilities are desperate not just the normal time and a half or even double. It’s possible
This woman is a nurse practitioner and they tend to make more than a nurse. Still such an amazing accomplishment.

I’m a nurse and working 36 hours is rough. The fact that she did 72 hours a week makes her a WARRIOR cause I could never do that for more than one week in a row but she did it for 52!!

Crazy I had to text my nurse friend she confirmed... No one wanted to do it die to the risk... People who travel especially to NY were being compensated generosly at the beginning. She a certified hustler... Dave statement at the end pretty much sum up life. Some people make things happen while others wonder what's happening...

@@jeffsmith9420 definitely not fake. Working at the local dealership here, we personally know of a nurse practitioner who does travel nursing to this day and explained her income. Highly possible especially in areas that need health care workers.
I’m current RN and working crazy amount of OT. 17 12 hour shifts with CSP and OT. Just purchased my first home and is my only current debt, I thought buying a home would be awesome, but now I feel like I need to work 365 since this is my first time having debt.

If you’re wondering if this is fake, it definitely isn’t. A nurse practitioner is one of our customers here at a luxury dealership and told us the same thing. Depending on the role she was filling in, she was making 6-13k a week.
Oh for sure. My brother in law for awhile was working in his same hospital making multiples of whatever he normally earned. The money in travel nursing is wild

@who dat Possible troll job. There's also no proof it isn't real. People do lots of things others perceive as unbelievable. I'll add: Working at a hospital, nurses (she's a nurse practitioner, which pays more than the average nurse salary) were putting in some serious hours this past year.

Nurse Practitioner (RN-P), not an RN- big difference; similar to a Physician's Assistant in salary and duties. She would be making a lot more than an RN. Which still makes her accomplishment astounding.
While she was making $13k a week, doctors were asked to work for free or have their hours cut. Kudos to her. I wish I had that opportunity to make bank lol.

I think I listened to her first call in clip a few days ago. December of 2019 a nurse called in and Dave said there's plenty of OT for nurses, I thought "man, y'all have no clue whats coming".
I also remember her call and he told her to go crazy intense and she did! This was a wonderful call followup!

DH and I are currently doing this, albeit in a different-ish situation. We are wanting to buy our first home but chose not to play the crazy game with cash offers that we don't want to compete with. We suspended our house search, tossed 50K into an index fund, and are just letting it sit.
