    My old 720 sat lower on the passenger side as well. I always assumed it was because of the gas tank.

    Make sure the front are even,it might make a difference for the rear to be one side higher I had a 86 1/2 hardbody with a v6 extended cab automatic 2wd lowered 3inches back in the 90s wish I’ve kept it

    I did same drill job on leaf springs... heads up the 4” drop blocks might pinch the axle and brake lines with the drilled brackets. Clearance is only inches on mine?? Axle to rails and bed....clearance

    They all sit uneven. Probably a half inch to inch lower on passenger side. Because of the gas tank.

    I had the same problem... And it was the torcion bars.... One was lower than the other...

      That would make some difference on the rear

    Double check your torshen bar bolts. My 94 D21 single cab was uneven like yours and that's how I fixed it

      @@LocalLosers520 when I first lowered my truck my bed was the Sam way about a 1"1/2 lower on one side. In the front it exactly the same. Took me 3months before I finally checked my torshen bolts. Mine where off I reajusted them. After putting my tools up and taking a drive I stopped for pictures. That when I saw that it fixed the rear also

      @@LocalLosers520 no I haven't done that yet. When I 1st lowered my truck I did 1 side and a buddy worked on the other some how when we where done one side of the torshen bar bolts was out more. About a inch and a half more. We didn't notice this because the truck looked level in the front. Or maybe it's because it was dark out and we might of had a few beers when doing the work.

    The front tires are probably not on even ground or the torsion bars are not set with even tension.

    Did you guys ever come up with a solution to the rear shackles having different angles, and the height difference? My truck has one that holds up, and the other does not, I was thinking new bushings (polyurethane perhaps)

    I have a regular cab and I’ve been wanting to do the redrill I’ve heard I have to space my carrier bearing do y’all by chance have any insight and on the bed difference have y’all removed the little rubber bushing between the bed and frame you may be missing a some or one side may be more worn then the other that was my issue

    • @brianmcdonald9879
      @brianmcdonald9879 4 роки тому

      By removed I mean have y’all removed the bed or do you know if the bed has been removed and check the body lines if they don’t line up then there’s either something in between bed and frame that’s missing or not supposed to be there

    5” bolt will hit the gas tank! I used 4.5” and I barely had clearance and you will have to thread the bolt into nut on the gas tank side with 4.5” bolts

    Just flip the springs upside down with 3 inch blocks it works and you would probably need to run 15x8 or 15x10 on 195 I did it to my 720 Datsun and it sits on the ground i got a Nissan hardbody with flipped springs and 5 inch drop blocks and people think it’s bagged but nope no air bags 😂

    How much fuels in it? Hardbodys lean = weight of fuel

    • @littleboyblue72000
      @littleboyblue72000 3 роки тому

      Gotta think there's alot of weight on the passenger side of these trucks, fuel tank, battery, only thing on the driverside is the exhaust besides that there's no weight on the driver side, put a fuel cell in the center and you'll notice the difference
